Capítulo 53: Boon or Bane? Blessing or Damnation?
A fancy meadow, a serene grassland, grazing deer, cavorting bunnies, it was a wonderful place. The fragrance of various flowers suffused all over the place, calming one's mind, bringing peace. It is here that the monks meditate in enlightenment, believers flock seeking solace and serenity. It was a common scene seen throughout *The Buddha's Monastery* intermediate realm, a godly place.
Sitting in front of a meditating monk was a young boy, barely 14, staring at the praying beads with interest. " Child, do you seek something? " " Yes, sir, I want to know the reason behind the severe killing intent in my aura. It seeps out unconsciously, scaring everyone. Can you help me? "
" Child, you have an interesting fate, shiny yet mild, sharp yet gentle, dark yet pure, indifferent yet passionate. The deeds you committed in your past lives, many of them as mysterious as the mercy of God, subtle yet perceivable to select few, all-encompassing yet right in front of you.
The lives you extinguished as salvation, like mercy, as an act of benevolence, have pledged to be your strength. They have transformed into pure killing intent, one without malice, revenge, cruelty or sorrow, a clean, indifferent aura of redemption and cleansing. That, my child, is the answer I have. "
" Why is my killing intent so scary to those around me? " " To those who live the lives to their fullest and respect the existence of even the smallest of the small, death is but a beautiful blessing, a gift from the infinite sea of love, known as God, a sweet sleep, a change of pace, a new leaf.
To those who live every second in fear, insecurity, sorrow, avarice and guilt, death is a torture, a punishment, a nightmare, something that severs them from the very thing they love and live for, a true phobia. It feels scary or lovely depending on the person in question, little child. "
" I am truly enlightened, thank you, learned one. " " Gifted child, I hope you retain this train of thought all through your life. May the Enlightened one bless you. " " Thank you, sir. "
This was the conversation between Dastan and a monk from *The Buddha's Monastery* intermediate realm during one of his travels. Dastan had a dream, subtle yet extreme, guiding him here, to this land of salvation. He had his questions answered, his mind cleansed of sorrow and pride.
Little did he know that he had already conversed, regarding the same issue, with the same monk, hundreds of years ago, as a girl though. The gender wasn't of any importance, the content was, though. The previous conversation had brought him peace, this one, gave him a goal instead.
This incident occurred, about half an year ago.
