I have already spent three days in this forest, during these days the only monsters I have encountered are the goblins. On some occasions these were with weapons in disrepair but I guess that is understandable as they are goblins.
I just reached level 7 and my rate of progress of the mission is only 15%. He asked me if in this forest the only monsters are them.
What I have noticed is a great variety of wild animals, but they are all very strong. Although I must be grateful that they did not attack me, they may not find it interesting or they are vegetarians, maybe they are allergic to human flesh.
As I advanced I heard a noise that caught my attention. It was the sound that two metals make when they collide with each other, I slowly approached the place where the noise came from and saw that there was a group of five perfectly armed goblins that were fighting a giant snake.
According to the information given to me by the system, the snake is called: "Metal Rattlesnake" was at level 11 and its body is covered by metal scales that protected almost its entire body.
Of the goblins that attacked her, two carried short swords that apparently were of good material, because when they hit the snake, they took out sparks of impact but did not break. In addition, the two were on the ninth level. There was one of level 8 that carried a Scutum (shield used by the Roman Empire) and towards the role of tank.
But those who were doing all the damage were two goblins that were farther away from the snake and were protected by others. It was two magician goblins.
They were on level 7 and 8 respectively, wearing large layers that covered their entire body and holding a kind of cane, which according to my own ideas were magic wands.
The two of them took turns throwing fire magic at the snake.
The snake wanted to attack them but it was well controlled by the warriors and not to mention the subject that carried the shield, since this was the one who blocked all the attacks of the snake.
The snake's attack was very simple since in addition to trying to bite its enemies it used its tail to try to hit it.
The magicians handled the snake in a good rhythm, and I concluded that it was not convenient for me to let the snake be killed because when a person levels up all their values return to normal. And I wasn't to take that risk. I waited a moment to try to disrupt his plans.
Time passed and I could see that the snake was increasingly damaged, its attacks were slower. But somehow he managed to hurt two of his adversaries.
While they were concentrating on the snake I approached the wizards and waited for them to attack the snake to kill them.
When the goblins realized the death of their magicians the snake took the opportunity to intensify their attacks.
One of the warriors turned to me, swinging his short sword but easily evaded his attack. I launched a horizontal cut that that goblin managed to block. Maybe it's because of his fight with the snake but killing that goblin didn't take much effort. In a few exchanges of blows I was able to go through his defenses managing to decapitate him.
The other two goblins were easier to handle for the snake because there were no wizards to control it.
The shield goblin was killed when the snake managed to release its shield. And the last goblin died poisoned.
In the end I was alone with the snake.
The metal rattlesnake was very injured and although I wanted to kill her by not having a team that guaranteed me the victory I decided to take the shield and leave that place. It seems that the snake did not want to continue in another fight because it just kept watching until I retired.
I kept that goblin's shield in the inventory that the system informed me it had. I walked a little more while looking for a safe place, because I discovered by the bad that the caves make safe areas. I discovered that on the second day that when I was going to the cave that I have as a base, a small horde of goblins pursued me.
At that time I was somewhat injured because I had just killed some goblins and while they walked they went out to face me. To summarize everything, that day I ran for a long time, I first thought of losing them in the forest but the very damn never separated from me. In the end when I arrived at the cave it was already getting dark and when I entered there, they followed me but to my surprise when one of them tried to attack me he could not harm me, then everything else was easy.
I captured them and killed them outside the cave. There I raised the level for the third time and that was when the system informed me of the function of the cave and the inventory.
While walking I reached the creek where the unicorn I saw last time was, I bathed because it was very dirty and when I left I could see a kind of crocodile mixed with a person. According to the system this was called Lizardman, and to my surprise it does not enter the category of monster. It is part of the mixed races.
The Lizardman looked at me for a while before leaving. Which was a good thing because although I tried I couldn't see what level that guy was.
Sorry for the delay, I was solving some problems. Besides, I'm already on vacation, so there will be a new chapter every day (I hope)
