<TAI KARU'S P.O.V>
The rehearsal at Musical Talent had gone one longer than expected. Although Karu was only the opening act for the concert he was supposed to stay for the whole thing so he could meet the other people in the concert. When it had finally ended and he'd gotten on the road there was a lot of traffic. When he finally got the the school practice had already started at Musical Sky and he was terrified that May might kill him for being late.
As he walked inside he saw May sitting down reading something. Then a boy with green hair that Karu didn't recognize appeared around one of the shelves and spoke to her before sitting down on the couch next to Komaki. May put down the thing she was reading and turned to face him. "Hey Karu, what took you so long?" Karu was confused. The last time he'd been late she'd scolded him for half an hour.
May didn't seem mad, just a bit annoyed. Karu smiled, "there was a lot of traffic and I just got here." Karu didn't give her all the details and just kept it short.
"Karu come here I want you to meet someone." When May called him he approached but stayed out of arms reach in case she suddenly decided to attack him.
"Hey Yu, come over here," May called to the boy that Karu didn't recognize.
Yu stood up and walked over. He seemed to be avoiding eye contact and was looking anywhere but at Karu. Something clicked in Karu's mind, Had he seen this boy before? He suddenly looked familiar for some reason.
Yu's Hazel eyes finally met Karu's blue ones for a moment before Yu turned to, May. "This is the last member of Musical Sky?" He asked her, although it sounded more like a statement than a question. May nodded. then spoke to Karu again.
"Karu, this is Yang Yu starting today he is officially our new lead singer." Karu stared at her for a moment.
"WHAT?!" Karu yelled causing May to frown.
"You're recruiting him?" He knew that May wouldn't recruit somebody who wasn't good enough. He realized that May didn't angry that he had yelled at him like she usually would be, instead she was smiling at him.
"Do you want to see WHY I decided to recruit him." Karu was curious about why, so he nodded.
The smile on her face grew an she stood up. "Ok then. Yu can you show him..." She stopped for a second as if she was thinking about something. "...'Down To Earth.' That's what you call it right?" Yu chuckled. "Yeah that's what it's called, and I can show him," Yu said then spun on his heels and walked toward the stage at the back of the room.
Karu was a bit surprised when Yu stepped on the stage. The usually didn't use the stage if there wasn't a concert was coming up, and they hadn't had a concert since their last lead singer graduated last year.
May explained that the stage was the only place where he had enough space to move. Karu noticed that Komaki and Yoku came over too. Komaki seemed to hop up and down in excitement, and even Yoku seemed to be waiting for something.
Karu turned back to Yu who was hopping from one foot to the other and relaxing his muscles. Nothing seemed that interesting so far, and Karu started to think that May was losing her touch on recruiting people. she'd always been very strict with the recruitment. But, any doubts that Karu had instantly disappeared when Yu started singing.
EXTRA: Why May wasn't mad at Karu like he usual.
May's view of the members of Musical Sky:
Chang Yoku = silent and hard the approach (She can never understand him)
Sao Komaki = Loud and annoying (May constantly has to tell him to shut up) He's also loose-lipped and couldn't keep a secret to save his life. (He's also REALLY sensitive)
Tai Karu = Way too modest and refuses to accept compliments or gifts. He is also really honest and broke the hearts of a lot of the girls who confessed. His favourite line seems to be: "This is nothing compared to what we do at Musical Talent." which some times reminds Mo that he isn't as popular. (causing him to start sulking)
Yang Yu = Good at having conversations without being annoying. (somehow he can make Mo shut up without making him upset) He has an amazing talent but he doesn't brag.
In other words being around Yu calms her down because he doesn't annoy her.
