Capítulo 5: potions
I awoke from my dream with GOS and I cried a bit... I get up from my bed and search for my mother, I saw my mother looking at pictures of me and I hugged her...
mother: "what is it Calvin?" mother looked at me.
"nothing mom just needed a hug" I said while hugging her.
dad also saw me hugging mom so he hugged me as well, "family hug" dad said.
"mom, dad can you teach me potions and magic" I told my parents.
"of course there's nothing I wouldn't do for my baby boy" mom said.
dad went out for a bit and came back with books about advanced potion making by libatius borage." it's okay if you fail son, don't try too hard".
"I will try hard mom" I said with a serious look.
"I can't take you seriously my baby boy you are too cute" mom said whilst pinching my cheeks
"dad can I have an alchemy room" I said to my father
"well you'll see it at your 8th birthday" my father said
"thanks Dad" I then went out to the kitchen and try to make a potion
he was reading the potion recipes in the book and found one it was the draught of the living dead. he chose it because they have all the recipes in the house, It Causes the drinker to fall into a deep, death-like slumber.
the recipe is as follows:
Cut up the Sopophorous bean
Add the Infusion of Wormwood.
Add the powdered root of asphodel.
Stir twice clockwise.
Add the sloth brain.
Add the Sopophorous bean's juice.
stir seven times anti-clockwise.
"Seems easy, Jarvis what's the probability of success" I thought in my head..
" the probability of success is 99.9 % master
you can only fail if you don't follow the steps.." Jarvis said.
well 5 minutes up the potion is done, just followed the steps and I'm done I went out and showed it to my dad.
"giving up now Calvin?" dad says while laughing
"I'm done dad.. with the potion" I told my dad
his face became an O... "what... I just gave you the books 10 minutes ago" he told me with a shocked face".
"I really did make one dad... I concocted the draught of The living dead" I told him while showing him the potion.
"HUGO!!" my dad shouted, Hugo was my dad's wizard body guard his body was ripped and he was a very big guy...
Hugo came and my dad told him to just sit there he got my potion and threw it to Hugo...
Hugo just fainted and looked like he was sleeping..
"Dad you may have just killed Hugo" I told my father.
"nonsense he'll wake up within a few days" my dad said.
it was now a month after Hugo's accident and he still hasn't woken up..
"Jarvis calculate how long Hugo will be in deep sleep" I told Jarvis
"sir the remaining time is 1 year, 2 months and 18 days" Jarvis told me
dad was now worried and he called a healer from saint mungo's.
healer: he was afflicted by a very strong potion called draught of the living dead the potion maker was definitely a master..he may be in this state for a year or more.
"okay we'll just admit him in St. mungo's until he wakes up" my father said.
the healer then left with Hugo.
dad looked at me and said "I'll teach you potions from now on".
"what about magic dad" I told him.
"I'll handle that too" he looked at me seriously.
