Capítulo 15: | Chapter Fourteen
Because I was a part of the military before my knowledge about medicine and war were beyond expectations. So the recuperation process of my body went smoothly. I can finally walk without help or stretchers.
During my leisure time I made sure to stay in the imperial library. The current emperor in this land is my uncle the 3rd prince of the dynasty. He was once a general before he claimed the throne and killed four of his brothers.
I grew up with him pampering me so he gave me everything that I desired. I have never lacked anything. In this kingdom I was known as a timid young girl who does what she wants when she wanted. But this isn't my home.
I recalled from the previous owner of this body that she did not even like to study nor earn a favourable mark. She doesn't know the four pillars of arts. Not even interested in alchemy, beast taming, martial arts or weapon wielding. And what I hated the most is that she let's other people bully her.
Now I'm desperately trying to change the way people see me as...
I need them to fear me.
I learnt a few days ago that the shaft I used to save my life was a token from my mother's elite army. It wasn't a secret that she owns an army who doesn't report under my grandfather's supervision. The army was supposedly my dowry when I get married someday, but I want to take control of it now.
The weaker I am, the greater my enemies are. And since I am of the purest noble blood, men will seek and ask for my hand in marriage. They will want to gain the power that I possess and my duty is to protect the power. I won't let my mother down.
One day... I'll make everyone look at me with admiration and not disgust.
