He then took a deep breath and continued, "I'm apologizing for not thinking about your feelings when I flirted with the girls. I thought that it was fine since it was in front of you... I thought that you would see that it was all a joke. But I should have been more considerate. I swear!" He put a hand over his heart as he said, "I've never flirted with anyone behind your back!" 

He then smiled wryly as he reached out to gently caress Luo Guangying's cheek as he said, "I should have known how much pain you are in... If I had known that your father's actions in the past, with those women, would affect you so much, I wouldn't have done anything. I wouldn't even look at those girls."
