Capítulo 305: Eat

Around 11 pm, Xiao Lei went to her son's room. After making sure that he was asleep, she gently adjusted his comforter before tiptoeing out of her room. She then put on a light jacket before walking out of her house. 

The moment she opened the door, she saw Han Ye. He was smiling at her while holding up a takeaway bag. 

"Fried chicken, mam, as per your order," Han Ye said. "Also, a can of beer for me and a carton of milk for you." 

Xiao Lei smirked and closed the door behind her. "Thanks."

She was studying her script earlier when a craving hits. She was merely complaining to Han Ye about having weird cravings at odd hours, and she didn't expect him to actually go and buy it, especially not at this hour.

When he asked her to come out earlier, she thought that he just wanted to ask about her day in person. 

They went to sit outside Han Ye's apartment, where he had brought out a small table and two chairs.
