Capítulo 146: The People Of Tulum

Alaric was walking out in the streets that night. He wore his mask and dark cloak and avoided all of the guards walking on the streets. He transmuted some dirt he scooped up into some copper coins and jiggled them in his hand.

As he turned into a dark alley, a man sitting on the ground, resting his back against the building, looked up.

Fear shook in his eyes when he saw this man in a dark cloak wearing a mask.

"Is this the reaper? Am I go doing to die today?" The man thought.

Alaric bent over and stretched out his hand. Seemingly not of his own will, the man reached out for Alaric's hand.

Alaric dropped a dozen copper coins in the man's hand, and the man's eyes widened considerably.

"Wh...what?! You're giving me this?!"

Alaric nodded, "my name is Alaric, and I've been sent here to change the world. By both protecting it and nourishing it. Rest now, and feed yourself as well."
