Aaron was suddenly forced awake by a monstrous sound. He quickly rolled away from where he was and kneeled looking around in front of him. He quickly scanned his surroundings only to see nothing. Not that his eyes weren't working, it was just that there was nothing around him, just a blank white space that continued endlessly. Before he could focus on thinking where he was, he felt a large gust of hot air hit his back. He jumped away and looked behind him only to see something that haunted the minds of children who watched Jurassic Park.
He looked up to see a huge monstrous T-Rex directly in front of him staring at him intently watching all his movements.
Adrenaline pumping through his veins, he did the only thing that came to mind. Crouching slightly, mustering all his available power and courage Aaron took a deep breath and …
"Hi, my name is Aaron Zamora" Aaron waived at the dinosaur introducing himself. Instead of being crushed, slaughtered, or eaten he heard the faint chuckling ethereal voice of a child.
The giant T-Rex was enveloped in a shroud of black and then it shrunk to the size of a child. The black shroud formed the figure of a child with no features showing except the image of mouth on the being's face.
"That certainly was not what I expected you to do. Tell me why your first instinct was to introduce yourself?" the Being asked causing Aaron to stutter a little at the incredulity of his situation. Aaron took a few seconds to calm himself down before responding to this being.
"Umm, I realized that my only option was to somehow get the giant T-rex let me go. I can't run and hide anywhere since there is nothing around us. I can't attack the Dino because honestly, I'm well aware of my physical condition and there is no way I could tire out or beat it. So, my only option was to appeal to its intelligence seeing that it was the only other being here, and just hope it didn't eat me" Aaron said back to the Being.
Slowly as Aaron started truly realizing the situation, he was in his mind started racing to try and understand what was going on. His mind created dozens of different questions and scenarios. After a few minutes passed Aaron was finally done sorting out everything and looked at the Being with eyes of hope.
"Go on Aaron, I do not have to read your mind to realize you have something to ask me" the Being said while sitting down in Truth's iconic pose.
"I'm sorry if I'm being forward but I have 3 questions I desperately want to ask. The first question is, are you Truth from the series Full Metal Alchemist? Secondly, could you tell me your name or at least what to call you? And thirdly, am I going to be isekai'd?" Aaron finishing asking with his eyes transfixed on the Being in front of him.
A grin appeared on the Being's face clearly amused by the questions Aaron asked.
"To answer your questions in the same order; No, I am not Truth from FMA. You may call me Truth because that is the form that I like the most. Yes, you are going to be isekai'd. So, tell me do you want a second chance at life." Truth answered while smiling.
'Yes, Yes, yes' Aaron repeated in his mind. This was the answer Aaron was hoping for, he wished for a second chance at life and he was granted an opportunity to have it. Aaron quickly started taking deep breaths to calm down as to not ruin this great opportunity.
"Could you first tell me where I am Truth?" asked Aaron as he calmed down.
"You are in the void between chaosverses. And before you ask, a chaosverse is the same as a multiverse and an omniverse. They are just synonyms for the same thing." answered Truth.
"Can I assume that a multiverse just contains all the parallel versions of one world." Inquired Aaron. The only reply he got from Truth was a nod.
"Do I have a time limit in talking with you and asking questions?" asked Aaron slightly worrying Aaron who wondered if there would be enough time to think everything through.
"Don't worry about time here, it is inconsequential. But I do want to hurry things along, so I'll answer some of the questions that you have floating about in your mind.
Firstly, I'm not asking you to reincarnate for a nefarious purpose, or to help me fight multiversal being or to help save worlds. Honestly, do you think I would need a mortal's help or soul for any of those things, I'm basically omnipotent for Akashic Records sake * Truth said while smiling menacingly at Aaron for having such a stupid idea, which caused Aaron to start sweating*
I'm doing this mainly because I'm bored. I am going to observe your life and to see how you live. You're my wild card. I will give you 5 wishes with no upper limit so go crazy. You will keep your memories when you reincarnate, and I will allow you to choose the universe where you are born" finished a still smiling Truth.
Seeing this Aaron smiled and sat down to start thinking of his wishes. He wanted a power that was adaptable and would grow stronger without a defined limit. After hours of contemplating his choices, he finally settled on 5 that Aaron believed was the best and most interesting.
"Firstly, I agree to reincarnate Truth, thank you for giving me this chance. I will first list my wishes.
First Wish: Body and Soul perfect for cultivation
Second Wish: Library of Heaven's Path with all cultivation and profession manuals already included from Desolate Era.
Third Wish: A miniature World that will grow with my cultivation, and has an infinite amount of cultivation energy, and resources.
Fourth Wish: Upgraded version of the second true magic Kaleidoscope that allows travel to and viewing of other chaosverses.
Fifth Wish: For my two daughters Alice and Beth to live long and happy lives.
The universe that I would like to be born in is the MCU universe which has mutants, Inhumans and other beings." Said Aaron while gazing at Truth, content with his wishes.
Truth sat for a moment contemplating Aaron's choices while rubbing its chin when it suddenly froze for a moment and started laughing maniacally. Truth took a few moments to compose itself before turning to Aaron with the largest grin possible.
"You really are a special being Aaron. Most who have asked for omnipotence or the power of a god directly. But you haven't asked for any of those but instead, you basically asked me to give you the potential to become one of the strongest beings in existence. Thank the Akashic records you didn't ask for omnipotence or something similar." Truth said with his grin growing larger.
"Truth, what would have happened if I asked for omnipotence or something similar," Aaron asked.
"Oh, nothing much, you just would have had restrictions on your power that made it unusable. For example, if you wished for omnipotence, I would have given you it but the instant you received it you would have died, being unable to bear the weight of that power." Truth said while smiling, causing Aaron to start sweating.
"Moving on, I will allow most of your wishes with minor changes except for the last and first one. Those will be completely overhauled and at my discretion. After all, every power has consequences" Truth said causing Aaron to nod quickly.
"Your first wish needs to be changed because there is no such thing as a body and soul that is perfect for cultivation. Instead, I will allow you to keep your multilayered third wish with a little extra, but I will come to that later.
Your last wish needs to be changed as well because your two daughters will already have happy, long lives. Your karmic virtue cannot travel to the void between chaosverses so it will automatically go to the beings closet to you, which are your daughters.
Instead, I will give you the highest comprehension possible for a mortal, along with a genius level intellect. You will be able to comprehend Dao's with less difficulty and at a faster pace, but it will not be anything close to instant mastery. Your intelligence will be at a level similar to Tony stark but will grow as your body develops, to what level will depend on you.
For your second wish, I will change the Library of Heaven's Path slightly by removing the golden page. Also, you can only compile books together that you have completely read, as compensation for these changes I will make so you that you can instantly find the type of books that you want.
For your third wish, I will give you a small world the size of a large asteroid. This will grow with your cultivation and your understanding of Daos. It will contain an infinite amount of cultivation energy of all kinds, along with all the resources and materials you could ever need. The bonus that you will receive for removing your first wish is for the ability to completely control the time dilation for this world so you may cultivate for as long as you need.
For your fourth wish, you will receive the ability but with two restrictions. One is that you will be unable to use the ability until you reach the level of a Primal Daoist in cultivation. Two is that you will be unable to enter a chaosverse without the permission from that chaosverse lord unless you reach the world god and chaos immortal level.
Those are all the changes I will be making, have fun in your new life Aaron" Truth said as tiny black hands appeared from a portal behind Aaron latching onto him.
"Thank you" Aaron managed to scream out as the tiny hands covered his face and body throwing him to his chosen world.
"Show me just how interesting of a being you are Aaron, Chosen One of the Akashic Records" Truth smiled as he slowly faded from the void.
