Capítulo 2: The Journal
I opened my "eyes" (remember, I didn't have eyes back then) and realized that my "head" was slightly throbbing.
'Strange' I thought, 'Even if my brother used all his strength he shouldn't be able to make me black out, and how has he able to affect my consciousness directly when my "body" can't feel anything because I don't have nerves.Could he have gotten that much stronger?'
I decided to not ponder about it too much, I mean, since I can't think of an answer know, I'll just ask my family later, I doubt that whatever happened would be able to truly hurt me. I tucked the question to the back of my brain and told myself to get revenge on my brother later.
Then I started to take in my surroundings. I appeared to be in the center of a pit with the rim of it 12 miles away from me on all sides, over the edge on all sides were sqccr (you know them as trees). Beyond that on the right was a strip of rock and dirt without any sqccr. There seemed to be mortals riding on other mortals, there appeared to be 17. (I learned that the mortals being rode on were called horses.).
I analyzed the riding mortals bodies (not the ones being rode on because no one likes having someone on their back) and commanded the elements of this world to create a body for me using them as a base and finding the average build among them. I grew until I was 8 eccs (feet for you) tall and 3 eccs wide. I grew a small horn on my head, no longer than a finger but 5 times as thick. I had 4 lhkr (limbs) on top and 2 on the bottom. 5 ehmgcqr (fingers) on each fzmd (hand) and 5 ehmgcqr on each eoos (foot) I had a pair of eyer (eyes) and ezqr (ears). A morc (nose) and kotaf (mouth). I had no fzhq (hair) and I had dzqj alzbj-altc rjhm (dark black-blue skin).
I jumped out of the pit and walked to the middle of the strip and faced the group. They stopped in front of me.
"Vho zqe xor?" One of the mortals wearing hoqm (iron) asked. (Who are you?)I stared puzzled because I couldn't understand the mortal. I analyzed the electric signals in and going to his brain and using those learned everything he does. (I could do this because the electricity has because of electrons in atoms, and atoms made up elements, giving me control).
(Authors note: from now on the codes stop. Try to find the key to the code. P.S. the line the mortal said is part of a different code.)
"Yamake" I responded.
"What is your business blocking our way. Go find some clothes you filthy animal."
I flushed red. He was indeed right, I had no clothes and I was shown in all my glory. However, I wasn't really embarrassed since shape, size and form was easily changed, I could have any kind of the infinite types of organs at any time I want, I could even have them all at the same time. I was red because of anger.
'If this is how you treat your own species than how do you treat other species' I thought.
"I was going to ask to join you but your indecent behavior changed my mind." I snapped.
Now it was the mortal who flushed red.
"Do you know who we are!" He boomed,"In this carriage is Miss Elis, heir of the Macrov family, one of the hundred oldest and most noble families of the entire orcan species!"
"So?" I shrugged.
He turned even redder and pulled his sword out. "I will punish you for the disrespect you have shown today. May you experience agony even after death."
He swiped at me. I just stood still, it wasn't like I could dodge or simply make them all disappear, I just felt that it would be a waste to use even the slightest of energy on these despicable creatures.
*Clang* the sound was crisp and clear as his sword struck me, the vibrations numbed his arms and caused him to drop his sword.
The flap to the wagon opened "What is the problem? I'm in a hurry. Just kill them all." A sweet voice sounded out contradicting to her words. The mortal who struck me immediately turned around and got on his knees.
"My apologies lady, a male orcan is blocking our path, we will deal with him soon."
The lady looked out of the wagon and at me. Her jaw slightly dropped when she looked below my hips. 'What a monster' she thought. Swallowing her saliva and trying to act proper in front of her men, she said "Turn around and take a detour." And ducked back in seeming red in the face. 'What a waste it would be to kill him, I'll find someone to kidnap him later.'
The group left put not before the mortal spat at my feet and said, "You were lucky this time."
After the group left, I waited another 3 rotations between the sun and moon for another mortal to arrive. This time there was only one wagon, one mortal and one horse. The man stopped when he saw me.
"Do you need help?" He asked me. Surprised to find how nice he was being I was suspicious because of the last encounter with mortals, so I read his brain. It seemed he wasn't planning to attack me.
"Yes please." I said.
"Then hope on!"
I climbed into the wagon and found that it was full of crates.
"I'm a merchant." the man said, "please don't try to steal anything."
"Of course I won't." I replied," where are you traveling?"
"I'm going to Kinds, the closest city of orcan" he said. "Feel free to tag along. There are clothes in the crate closest to the door, feel free to take a set."
Later that night we made a fire to cook a soup out of plants we found around and a rabbit we hunted.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Yamake, what's yours?"
"Lucifer" he replied.
He started to talk about his childhood and his hopes and dreams of becoming the richest person ever.
"What would you do with all that money?"
"Well, there is a saying that money's power, and since I don't have enough talent to become a fighter or mage of any kind, I decided to use money as a tool instead of cultivation to make me and my family live longer by buying pills and magical treasures."
"Oh, than why did you help me? Your using your time to help me and letting me stay in you cart. Aren't you afraid of me stealing from you?"
"Of course not." He said, but he thought 'The detector I have on me said that you have no power, not to mention all my crates in the back have strong protection spells so only I can open them, it cost quite a lot to get a mage to enchant the boxes. But I felt it was better to be safe than sorry. Furthermore, I help people because I believe that if you do a good deed than a good deed will be done to you. I'm a cautious person.'
"Hmm, so It's like that."
It seemed like the air grew colder and he stopped talking.
After we finished you dinner, he took out a book and a writing feather.
"What are you doing?"I asked.
"Oh, this is my Journal that keeps track of my daily life, I write for fun, to remember happy times and also in hopes that people will read it and remember me if I ever happen to die."
"That sounds interesting, do you have another set I can have?"
"Sure." He muttered a incantation and a set appeared from his ring.
"Is that a storage ring?"
"Yeah, I was lucky enough to find it on my travels or else I wouldn't be able to afford one." He looked at the storage ring as if it was his spouse. His eyes showed his hunger. But it only lasted for a second before he passed me the set.
"Thanks."
"No problem"
