It was time for Sky to implement his plan. He got up weakly and stared at the remaining Minotaurs. The Minotaurs were so scared by the sheer amount of his killing amount that they took a step back.
This 'demon' had killed thousands of their comrades with his sharp knife. He was like a reaper to all those who charged at him. No one had the balls to charge at him anymore.
Sky sighed. Even though he was an immortal, he still needed to cheat his opponents to kill them. He really understood what it means to have an 'army'.
His face turns serious as he looked at the sky. He spoke in a self blaming and solemn tone, "My God, your unfilial subordinate has let you down.
"Even though you have given me your regeneration so that I can stay alive in most of the dangerous situations. I was still not able to and have to seek you again to save me.
"I offer my left hand to be saved from this peril." Sky said and slowly lifted his knife. This showed how weak he was right now.
He slowly put the knife on his left 'shoulder' and was trying to cut his left hand off, but since he was too weak, he was not able to cut his left hand easily.
The level four Minotaur turned solemn hearing Sky's words. Sky was protected by a God. And Sky's regeneration came from a God.
[ so that's why this human was able to last three days. It's because of the healing of a god.]
The level four Minotaur had already noticed Sky's healing was too fast to be real. So he did not doubt Sky's words that he got his regeneration from a God.
"Don't let the human cut his arm." He shouted at the Minotaurs closest to Sky.
The Minotaurs who were in a daze by Sky's actions, finally snapped out and charged at Sky.
But they could not reach Sky in time, by the time they reached, all that was left in the place was Sky's left hand.
Th Level four Minotaur squinted his eyes. To be able to make someone disappear from the place directly, this 'God' must be of level five of soul cultivation or higher.
This worried the level four Minotaur. If Sky was nurtured under such tutelage, he would become stronger at a very fast rate. Sky might come back to attack them for revenge once he becomes stronger.
But there was nothing the Level Four Minotaur was able to do now. All he could do was preserve Sky's hand properly and hand it to him the next time, so that Sky would be less angry and show some mercy.
"Bring me the arm." He Commanded the Minotaurs who had charged at Sky before he just disappeared.
Sky was currently inside his left arm. He had went inside his arm as soon as he cut it off him.
Currently Sky was very exhausted and only had his right hand. But hearing the level four Minotaur order the other minotaurs to bring him his left arm, a smile crept up on Sky's face.
This was exactly what he had wanted. He would attack the level four monster as soon as he takes Sky's left arm.
The subordinates brought the arm to the level four Minotaur, who took the arm and stared at it with complicated emotions.
Finally he sighed and told his subordinates to bring him a box so that he could preserve this hand. The subordinates acknowledged and left.
As he looked at the left arm again, the level four Minotaur heard a low pitched voice, "let me out, Lefty." It sounded.
The Minotaur was confused, but before he could think, a one handed human, holding the knife that took his brother's life, appeared before him and attacked the place his 'internal energy reserve' was present.
Maybe due to the level four Minotaur's fast reflexes or maybe due to Sky being too weak, the sharp knife only grazed the internal energy reserve instead of destroying it.
This situation was like making a small hole to a pot instead of breaking it. If you break the whole pot, the water inside leaves instantly. But if you put up a hole, the water leaves slowly.
The level four Minotaur's internal energy was dissipating but albeit at a slower rate. He was still a level four monster, but after three days, he would drop down to level three.
The level four Minotaur was in a daze looking at Sky who was now on the ground grasping for air. It took a whole minute for him to understand that he had been cheated by Sky, and notice his dissipating internal energy.
The Minotaur looked at the exhausted Sky and his eyes spewed Fire. He lifted his fist and slammed it at Sky's face.
Sky saw as the level four Minotaur's huge fist smashed his skull, thus killing him. He was too weak that he could not even dodge a straight punch.
His left arm slowly regenerated Sky. The level four Minotaur was surprised for a second before his anger returned.
He smashed Sky's Skull into a pulp again, killing Sky in the process.
But the left hand glowed white and Sky's head regenerated. Seeing this happen for the second time in a row, the Minotaur knew the regeneration came from Sky's left hand.
The level four Minotaur smiled evilly as he took a knife and cut Sky's left hand.
Sky was confused by the Minotaur's actions, why did he cut his left hand instead of smashing his face like before?
Th Level four Minotaur then took Sky's right hand and broke it's index finger. Sky screamed in pain. He also finally understood why the Minotaur had cut his left hand off.
If he had his left hand and the Minotaur broke his index finger, then his left hand would heal it, so he won't feel the pain after it heals.
But now that he doesn't have his left hand, his right finger doesn't heal, this makes it even more painful.
The level four Minotaur slowly broke all of Sky's fingers. Sky screamed in pain every time, but the Minotaur was merciless.
The Minotaur then broke his leg. Sky was still alive but he was not being healed by his left arm as it was cut away.
The Minotaur slowly but harshly tortured Sky. Sky even considered going inside the arm, but he stopped, since these Minotaurs would start searching for the fox ladies if he disappeared now.
The Minotaur did not even spare his private parts, he crushed Sky's balls as Sky could only watch helplessly.
For two days, the level four Minotaur did not stop torturing Sky. He was so angry at Sky for damaging his energy reserve that, he even forgot to eat while torturing Sky.
Sky was long since used to his torture and would even find time and energy to spit on the Minotaur once in a while.
He had died at lest hundred times to the sheer amount of torture he underwent. Every time his left hand would heal him and the Minotaur would separate his left hand and continue its torture.
Sky even tried to ambush the Minotaur while he was being regenerated, but the Minotaur was cautious the whole time and all of Sky's ambushes failed.
After two days of torture Sky had got used to pain. The Minotaur might be a natural battle monster, but they weren't natural torturers.
So Sky had long since got used to physical pain he was inflicted by his fingers breaking and his bones cracking.
...
Three days passed since Sky attacked the Minotaur, and the Minotaur's level dropped to level three. He was so angry today that he killed Sky with a smash on his face instead of torturing him like the usual.
At the same time, a guard ran into his tent where he was torturing Sky and spoke a news in his ears, "the fox ladies have come out of their hiding and are attacking our forces." He said.
The level four turned level three Minotaur thought seriously for a minute, before he commanded his subordinate to give the order of retreat.
The Minotaurs had loads of enemies and he did not want to decrease their forces fighting against the foxes.
He returned to Sky and spoke in a laughing manner, "I am leaving now. I wanted to take you back and torture you, but the foxes might start attacking my territory if I do that. So I will leave you here."
"But don't be happy for long, I am only leaving you here because I don't want to fight the foxes right now."
"But once I gain reinforcements from my father who is in the fourth floor, I will come and destroy you personally."
He said and punched Sky's head to a pulp. He then threw the fully healed Sky out of his camp.
....
The Minotaurs retreated fast and the foxes did not follow to attack them. They would lose more than what they gain by attacking the retreating Minotaurs now.
For the past three days, Artha's heart was in a turmoil. She felt like she was being hammered every second of these three days. Even she did not know why she felt like this.
She tried to hold back and wait in the dark room for a week, but her heart pained crazily making her come out one day before what they had planned.
She was first dumbfounded by the number of Minotaurs that were around the palace. The number was half of what she had expected.
Seeing only half of the Minotaurs, she knew this was the work of the human who promised her to kill the level four Minotaur.
Immediately her eyes turned watery as she imagined how much pain Sky would have to undergo to kill these Monsters.
He might not even be alive anymore? Thinking upto this, she became angry, very angry.
She started with attacking the nearest monster and went into a killing spree. She was a four tailed fox before, and a three tailed fox now. These level two Minotaurs were no match for her.
The remaining foxes joined her and they started attacking the Minotaurs crazily.
Finally the Minotaurs retreated but Artha was not satisfied. She started searching the battle field, she wanted to find if he was still alive. If he was dead, then she wanted to find his dead body.
Finally she saw a human like figure when she crossed the largest tent of the Minotaurs. She rushed towards him and held him in her arms.
Sky, who had been in a state of coldness suddenly felt two warm hands around him. He looked up and saw the tears on Artha's face.
He smiled in his heart. 'These three days are worth those tears' he thought happily. He was in love with her.
Sometimes all it takes was a single tear to make one fall in love with you. He wiped her tears and spoke jokingly, "I worked too hard. I want an extra kiss as my payment."
Seeing Sky was still able to joke around, Artha knew Sky was safe. She blushed and stuck her lips to Sky.
This time it lasted a whole minute, with no one wanting to separate the other's lips from theirs.
It was not a passionate kiss, but more like a simple and lovely kiss that spoke of the love they had towards each other.
Sky smiled one last time at Artha before losing his consciousness in her arms. The past three days were hell. He needed a proper rest to reach his peak state.
Artha slowly caressed his handsome face and shuffled his black and white hair. She did not know his name still, but he was already in her heart.
Her feelings started when he first saved the fox ladies from the Minotaurs. She then started admiring the way he killed the Minotaur Lord.
Her feelings turned into liking the time she kissed him lightly. Even though she was shy at that time, she had kissed him because she had liked him.
Only after these three days in which her heart pained did she understand that this pain came from thinking about Sky's safety.
She had fallen in love before she even knew it.
She lightly kissed his lips and smiled. She then took him inside the Palace.
