Capítulo 2: Chapter 2
He followed this middle-aged man through the hallway, then through the courtyard. He guessed this man was the patriarch of the Kaguya clan. There were a lot of clansmen around, so it was not a time yet to escape.
He managed to overhear that this time they will go directly against one of the 5 big villages, Kirigakure. It was basically a suicide mission, but these morons didn't care. He, of course, won't be joining them as he doesn't want to die yet. He will take the first chance to escape presented to him.
The man said to him: "You're the strongest this clan has ever seen, you're our gift and the main weapon, we want you to lend us your strength once again tonight. This time we will face the strongest enemies we ever faced before, I hope that you're ready, don't disappoint me, boy!"
Kimimaro just remained quiet.
They came across the open field. All members gathered around. The patriarch had a crazed expression on his face and delivered a speech. It remained him of the cults he had seen in his past life.
Soon all members started shouting and running in the direction of the Kirigakure village.
They traveled for some time until they came across a particular area covered with bushes, tall trees, and swamps. It looked like a perfect place for an ambush.
Kimimaro realized this and slowly moved from the center of the group to the rear of the group. They didn't realize his movements as they were too crazed in their bloodlust.
As Kimimaro expected, soon shurikens started to fly all around, and Kirigakure shinobi jumped from the bushes ready to exterminate this damned clan. This clan didn't back down though, they were all dying fighting on the field.
Kimimaro immediately started running in the opposite direction from where they came from. There were a couple shinobis that blocked his way, so he used a bone sword for close range combat. And fired a couple of finger bullets for long-range attacks. Soon he killed all of Kirigakure shinobis and escaped successfully.
He still had only these two attacks. A bone-like sword and drilling bullets. He hadn't had enough time to develop other techniques like his taijutsu bone dance.
He vaguely remembered the place where he supposedly met Orochimaru in the original series. He was looking for that place for a while.
Soon he found it. And as expected Orochimaru was standing there. He didn't attack him like in the original, and slowly moved beside him and started looking on the battlefield below with him.
Orochimaru looked surprised and asked: "Why didn't you join the fight boy, you're clansmen are dying down there, you know?"
Kimimaro replied: "Would there be any difference if I joined in? These fools are all destined to die tonight."
He then asked: "Why do you think that?"
"Well, they are fighting against one of 5 Great Ninja Villages, isn't it obvious?" Kimimaro replied.
Orochimaru laughed a little and said: "You're interesting, tell me, why were you running around in circles before, were you looking for something?"
"I was looking for the best place to witness their deaths I guess, after all, they were keeping me in a cage my entire life. I wanted to take pleasure in their deaths" This, of course, wasn't the case, he was simply looking for Orochimaru, but he can't tell him that directly.
Orochimaru looked really surprised now and asked: "Why were they keeping you in a cage?"
Kimimaro replied: "They were afraid of my powers. I'm the only one in the whole clan who has awakened the true Kekkei Genkai of our clan, Shikotsumyaku" Then he went and showed him his bone sword and finger bullets.
Orochimaru looked really interested now and said: "Now that your clan is finished and you have nowhere else to go, I can give you a suggestion. You can come and train under me. I will help you unlock your full potential and make you a powerful person. Do you accept?"
Kimimaro was very happy but didn't show it. He pretended to think a little. Then he looked at the bloodied scene down below and his killed clansmen. And answered: "Sure, why not!" with a grin on his face.
