Capítulo 6: FRIENDS TURNED TO ENEMIES
While the war was delayed when both sides take respective refuge back to their base camps, Minotaur approached one of the gates of Minoan Maze by himself. His guilt resonates as the twilight orb was talking to him in his deep consciousness. Because history recorded the roles of the ancient Minos and how they bought the twilight orb in the land of dawn. As his entire ascendants were the first guardians of the twilight orb before the punishment of the Lords brought horror to the Moniyan Empire. And so he returned to restore his name as the last son of Minos. Misty wet chills covered the Land of Dawn. Twilight was setting in the horizon, turning more somber atmosphere everywhere. He stood sternly behind the gate bringing with him his ancient hammer. Minotaur knew someone was guarding the gates beside the Minos. He was Aldous, the only one left after Minotaur gone coward from leaving him instead of saving him. The gates of the labyrinth were uplifted with seal incantations after the awakening of the twilight orb. And Minotaur wanted to fulfill his ancestor's ancient oath to keep the orb from unworthy hands. Then a small crack opened the gate and revealed a figure.
"He-he, you have returned Minotaur",
Aldous huskily spoke as he emerged from the darkness. He stood by the gate looking different from the last time Minotaur saw him.
"Hmm… You're looking a little lost",
he grunted and clenched his fist.
"You do not belong here",
Aldous fumed angrily.
"Aldous",
Minotaur mimicked his deep tone.
"If you allow me, my hammer is at your behest",
he added and slowly takes step forward.
"I am here because the labyrinth called upon me---".
But Aldous was impudent to let Minotaur finish speaking because for him he was a coward traitor. He came dashing towards Minotaur that was able to sprint forward to the gate.
"Now, I'm angry! Feel the fire of rage!"
Minotaur charges a heavy jump. Both clashed as Aldous dashed to claw him and reap his soul out of his body. But Minotaur was blessed to have a tough build that Aldous had a hard time suppressing him when he's fully vigilant. The ground shook tremendously around the gate that made Aldous leapt backwards after Minotaur stomped and launched his hammer heavily to the ground.
"I truly hope to cross-blade with you again",
Minotaur snapped and launched his hammer another heavy blow. Aldous was stunned and slowed. Minotaur quickly took his advantage and ran through the gate and into the maze.
"Coward I'll hunt you down!"
Aldous sneered and spit on the ground. He regained his strength and returned behind the gates for he could finally smell the scent of cunningly selfish desires of marching invaders.
