Capítulo 140: Chapter 140: Trial of Gods (New)

Rachel looked to her side the moment she opened her red eyes, and tears fell on the surface. She blinked and sat up, feeling rather strange and worn. Looking down, she paused. Her outfit was familiar, but then she happened to catch her reflection.

The brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, this was indeed her. It was like her memories of that time cleared out a little, and she remembered what she looked like.

Looking up, the room was different.

"Elfin?" she whispered. But got no response. After thinking, she stood up, she turned, but the room was clear white, and she could not see a door. She frowned. No, that was wrong. There was a door.

Rachel stepped close to the unusual panel; a simple push made the room collapse. It felt like it was an origami room. They came undone. She saw a woman ahead in front of a podium and a sizeable machine-like object.

It resembled a clock but somehow wasn't one.

"First of the group to arrive," the woman said at the podium. It was apparent she was reading something. "Take a seat."

Rachel frowned and suddenly had a feeling as she looked behind her. She sat down.

"Welcome to the trial room of the Gods.

You are here because you are recognized as one who will be allowed to take the trial to become a God here in Odore Garden.

The trial will put you into other worlds to help develop your divinity. Though, even if you pass one trial, that does not mean your divinity will develop. As such, you'll be put through an infinite amount of trials until your divinity fully develops."

"What if I don't want to become a god?" Rachel asked.

The woman looked up, and her eyes sharpened. "That is a foolish question, but you will be sent to the Pool of reincarnation to reincarnate. Of course, without memories of your past human life or what you heard if here."

"…." Rachel looked down at her worn-out shoes as she listened. They were, without a doubt, the same. Her smaller hands clenched her Boho skirt. Her socks were different colors.

The Woman stopped talking when she saw that Rachel wasn't paying attention to her any longer. Anyone of her stature would have been annoyed, but not her. The girl was strange when she appeared. Her soul felt older than her own, but there was no evidence other than gut feeling.

Before her, Life's book reads all about the person she identifies and wants to read about. A heritage left to her by her ancestors. It just doesn't read about one life but all of them. And this Girl, Rachel, before has one experience. Which is normal considering she is the child of two Gods from Odore Garden.

"I am Isis, the 32nd, the Goddess of Magic and Knowledge. And on certain terms, I would be considered your Aunt." She said lightly, and her purple eyes glistened with disdain. Rachel looked up at Isis and Frowned. "Surely you did not think you would be chosen for the trial for no reason, and your soul was born to two Gods that reside in Odore Garden. As an Infant, you were placed into the Pool of Reincarnation."

Rachel's face went stale. "I was the child of two Gods."

"One of Two, you are a pair of twins. You're the older one. Although you have many other siblings."

"What's the Trail Like?" she asked, immediately changing the topic. Rachel did not care for such things. And Judging by Isis's face, she didn't like the supposed 'mother' of hers, and from the tone of her voice, it sounded like there was a reason for the disdain.

"…." Isis closed the book in front of her, her eyes smiled lightly, but her lips didn't follow. She seemed to like this niece of hers. "During your Trial, your memories will be 'blocked,' and even after you have returned, the memories you have during your trial will be erased."

"Is there is a specific reason why I am not allowed to remember my trial? Or why are my memories need to be blocked."

"Your memories during the trial will be contributed to your divinity, and such is the reason why you will not have them. As for your Memories being blocked, it is to ensure they will not be scarified to create your divinity. But Of course, you have the option to sacrifice those memories."

"I see if I sacrifice them. How much strong will I get."

"…." Isis widens her eyes. "Exceptionally, Strong, However, just as before, you will not have them during the trial."

"Then, the trial itself?"

"The Machine behind me, the Helios Engine, Will facilitate a temporary world. A world in which as resulted in creating and assisting in Divinity development."

"I am ready."

Isis nodded her hand, and with a wave of her fingertips, the machine behind glowed aqua blue, Flashing an all-consuming white light. Isis pulled her short hair back the moment the white light had absorbed Rachel.

She raised her hand to the side as a light blue panel opened, the name Ishtar eventually popped up. But, before she tapped it, she closed the window.

"Best not ruin this niece of mine due to her mother's stupidity."
