Capítulo 70: Crybaby

Although Minjae wanted to enjoy his time at the party with Miyeon, he was incapable of staying there for a long time as he was called back home. Judging from his father's tone, he was able to sense a great urgency.

As the door to his mansion was opened by the housemaid, he stepped in, and before he was able to step into living room, something was thrown in his direction. As if expecting that, he managed to avoid it skillfully.

The glass crashed against the wall, breaking into several pieces that scattered across the place. Few of the shards managed to cause a scratch on Minjae's cheek.

In front of him stood his father, and a grave expression sat on his features. His hand was clenched into a tight fist while his eyes glared at him. Creases appeared between both of his eyebrows.

Behind his father was his mother who stood beside the staircase, wearing an impassive expression. It was as if anything happening here did not make a difference to her.

The figure that caught his eyes next was Bohyun, and the corner 0f his lips curved to show mock at the figure. The corner of her eyes were filled with tears.

"No wonder you are acting up again," Minjae commented, stepping into the room.

A smirk was visible on his face while he maintained confidence. A gleam was visible in his eyes that managed to anger his father further.

"How dare you associate yourself with that lowlife again!? Since you are an adult now, I was going to ignore it! But how dare you insult and choose that lowlife over Bohyun!? Are you trying to anger me on purpose!?"

"Isn't it obvious? Crybabies and tattletales aren't my type, but they seemed to be what you exactly. Why don't you take her as your Mistress if you are that fond of her," Minjae stated.

Those words of his managed to provoke his father to the maximum, and walking over to Minjae, he grabbed the man by his collar. Tightening his hold on it caused Minjae to have a hard time breathing.

Nonetheless, Minjae did not show any signs of resisting against it while the smile on his face remained. Not even an ounce of fear could be seen either.

"You are getting really ill-mannered recently! It seems that you need to be taught properly! Not only you are associating with that lowlife, you even got some pathetic job! On top of all that, you dare to hurt Bohyun! It seems that you are not afraid of me anymore."

Minjae scoffed and said, "You think that I will allow your business to go successfully? One thing I can assure you that I won't let both of your business go successfully. Isn't a scum like you being too ambitious?"

Instead of the collar this time, his father wrapped his hands around his neck and tightly squeezed it. A pain spread through him due to that, and even so, he was unwilling to let go of his pride.

"It seems that you are forgetting the position you are in," his father spoke out while raising his other hand to punch hard upon his face.
