Capítulo 3: To the future (1)
The next time he opened his eyes, John found himself inside his own house, being cared by his mother.
"Little sunshine, you finally woke up! Are you trying to make me worry to death? If your father didn't found you in the woods you would have died there! Why did you even had to try to hunt a boar that big???", said Adele, as she cried and embraced her child. "Sorry mom, I´m really sorry for worrying you, please dont cry!", said John in a muffled voice as he hug his mother with as much strength as he could muster. For a few seconds, he rested his heart as embraced the heat, love and care from his mother.
"Hey son! You woke up! That's quite a big game you caught there. It took me quite an effort to bring you and the boar along! I almost though of leaving you behind! Ahahahahahah!". John got his head away from his mother's bossom and looked at his father. He could see through his father's play and detect the pride and worry in his father's eyes. "Sorry dad, I´'ll be more careful next time! I never expected to caught off guard by that boar. It will never happen again!" said John with a smile and a face full of conviction.
Even if his mother couldn't see through his injuries, his father could, and Eric could only give a sorry look filled with blame to his son, as John tried to not make his mother sad for injuries he took from her own kind due to the choices she took.
"Don't worry father, I'll train and become strong enough to protect our family from whatever may come our way!", said John with his eyes burning with conviction and willpower. Eric laughed with some tears in his eyes as he heard such proclamation from such a small child "We'll be counting on you son! Become strong enough so that you can protect the people you love and care about!".
As he heard his father, John brought one of his biggest smiles he ever had, until he remembered something "Mom, dad!", "What is it son?", "Do you know what a Status Window is?". As he said that, Eric and Adele looked at each other with confused looks as they turned to their son "Son, we have no idea about what your talking about".
John in response to his parent, he told them that when he says Display Status, something like a scroll would pop up in from of him and it would show him how strong he was and what kind of abilities he has. He even summoned it and gestured to them were the window was, the form and how large it was. Confused by their son's gibberish, as they couldn't see the so called Status Window, his mom told him that he might still be hurt and confused, so he should rest in his bed until he got better, decision which was supported by his father.
John looked confused at his parents as they snuggled him in bed, hugging and kissing, lefore leaving the room. Pondering about what happened, John summoned his Status again.

(AUTHOR NOTES: Sorry guys, I traded Crafting for Fletching because it was a skill originated from creating bows and amunitions and also, the name "Crafting" is too general and envolves a lot more craft skills than fletching)

"Hum... as I though, it does show my abilities, my health points are down, of 121 points, I only have 73 now, so I guess that shows that my body is more than half healed, but its not at 100%.". As he kept reading the information he noticed that he had a new passive skill "Pain Tolerance, I don't think I had it after i killed the boar, I guess I must have got it when I got beaten up pretty bad. I wonder, why can I see this Status Window? My parents don't seem to know anything about it, so it might be a rare ability.".
After giving a quick peak on all the information the Status Window, he returned to the passives "Hum... I can somewhat tell what the sword and bow mastery are about, since I trained with them, but what the is this blessing of the Light God about?". As John pointed to this passive, another scroll popped up.

"Oh!!! I can see some information about it.... Hum... So, it seems like it says that since I'm blessed by the God of Light..... my Light Magic is stronger and doesn't need as much mana as when normaly cast by others.". John reviewed and reflected about this new information and questioned himself why did such a god give him his blessing, such power to someone like him, why?
As he tried to search the reason why he was given this blessing, he kept readind the information of his other skills.

"The masteries seem to increase my strength when I use those weapons. I know that as we get better and more proficient with our weapons, we become stronger, but, I don't know if its supposed to increase our damage with them.".Thinking about the difference between himself and others, due to this system he had, he wondered if he would be stronger than others due to the difference of his skills and the new found powers that came with them. "Maybe with this, I'll be able to become enough to protect mom and dad from ever being mistreated by those who seeked to hurt his family! Eheheheh!".
As he imagined himself as a very strong man and imagined himself in various situations where he had to fight and win to protect his family, defeat bad guys and save the princess, he fell asleep. Some time had passed, when he started dreaming. In his dreams, he saw various images as if he had seen them before. He dreamt of another world soo much different from what he knew, with big buildings made of stone, some kind of fast beasts with different colors, people with very different
and weird clothes. He saw himself as little boy who got bullied by other kids, who seemes to call him to call him an orphan to make fun of him. Then the images changed as he saw a teenager reading and studing lots of books with eyes full of conviction and focus, as he turned to look around the teenager, he saw again people make fun because he was too serious, the teachers pet, they said. Once again it, changed, he saw an adult with white clothes entering a big white building, where he seemed to work to help people get better. John saw a big difference around the adult, smiles and eyes full of gratitude surrounded this adult, until one day a crazy man ran from one of the rooms from that building, grabbed a women and warned the others if they didn't him what he wanted, the woman would suffer the consequences. He watched as the adult aproached, trying to calm the man and stop him from hurting her, as it seemed to work, the adult relaxed and aproached relaxed but got himself stabbed in the heart.
As John closed and opened his eyes, he found himself now in the body of the adult that got stabbed and layed in the ground, as he felt the pain, frustration and unwillingness to die, the light in his eyes started to fade away and he could only think and say as he whispered "I just wanted to help people! Why must I be the one to suffer like this?".
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Uffff. Uffff. Uffff....." John woke up from his dream screaming and trembling, sweat all over his body as panic filled his face. He tried to calm himself down regulating his breathing and squeezing his hands as much as he could. "What the heck was that dream! I've never had such a weird dream before...". As he started to calm down, he drank a bit of water went for a bit to the wind to get some fresh air, and returned to sleep.
Unknown to him, these images were some of the most strongest memories of his past life, before he reincarnated to this world, that brought great grief to his soul. With the unlock of the status window, some memories of his past life started slowly to return to him in the form of dreams, due to the fact that he was still too young and immature to be able to receive that much information.
