Capítulo 15: Pase 3
We arrived at our destination at 9:30 AM. It was a large tower in the middle of a thick forest. We had landed right on top of it. The surface was flat with no openings to the naked eye.
Mr. Beans (Chairman's personal secretary)- We are at the top of the trick tower. This is where the third phase of the Hunter exam is going to take place. The test is that you have to reach the base of the tower in 72 hours… alive."
While Mr. Beans was explaining, Freya and I were sitting at the edge of the tower, gazing at the scenic forest beneath us. It was surreal, the forests extended as far as one could see. Massive bird's could be seen flying. Unable to find an entrance, some participants started to climb down the tower. "Hey, you guys should get started. This is probably going to be hard!" said Kile trying to get my attention. "Don't mind us, we can make it down pretty easily!" said Freya holding my arm. "If you need any help feel free to ask," I say with a smile which leaves kile entranced. Just as kile was going to ask me to come along with her;
Gene- "Don't worry. We can't rely on you for the whole test now can we…"
Just as Kile was about to shout at Gene for wasting a chance to be with Ren, "AAAAAAHHHHH" shouted one of the people who decided to climb down the tower. He had fallen prey to a flying beast which had swallowed him and others like him in one swoop. Gene and Kile were shocked at the scene.
"There should be a hidden entrance somewhere over here. You guys should start searching for it…" I say breaking the ice. Heeding my advice, Gene, Kile, Kurapika and Leorio start searching for a hidden entrance. Freya and I continue talking for a few more hours. It was noon and was getting pretty hot. Everyone had already gone into the tower by now.
Freya- "It's getting hot, let's go now?"
"Sure," I said.
Freya- "Let's just go down directly, I don't really feel like going through the ordeal of going through this maze. Lets just directly go down."
I agree and without wasting any time, we just jump. The look on the faces of the chairman and Beans was priceless. Netero rushed to where we jumped off from. He could see us falling calmly without a worry in the world. A fey beasts came at us only to be obliterated. We reached the bottom of the tower with relative ease. Netero was shocked at how we landed without noise but he just assumed it to be our nen but he couldn't really tell because the tower was a few kilometres tall.
We reach the base of the tower without any issues. There was an entrance to the tower right there so we decide to explore this forest. The shade of the tree along with the fresh air was just perfect for it. I have said it before and I, going to say it again, this world is beautiful. It is as if it was created by an artist. There was a bunch of dinosaur like creatures which came toward us but they didn't really do any harm. They led us to a beautiful lake untouched by the world. This was something one could only Imagine. The water was clear blue. Seeing this, we just sat under the shade of a tree near the lake as we just talked and ate the lunch I materialized. We really don't need to eat but it's just a luxury that we enjoy. Freya insisted on her feeding me. We both finally ended up feeding each other. We just lied down on each other's shoulder. I was enchanted by her beauty. Before we knew it, we were exchanging a passionate french kiss. This went on for quite some time as we just flirted with each other until It got dark. Resting against the ground, we just spent our night stargazing as we fell asleep.
