Lose?
Huang Bei Yue squinted her eyes. No matter whether it was a competition or an arena, her mind had never flashed over the word 'lose!'
"I don't want to participate. I will talk to Professor Guo about it." Huang Bei Yue stated faintly. She had been really busy recently so when will she even have the time to participate in some skills competition?
Plus by competing with the people in east courtyard will mean that she's lacking in standards. She won't waste her time on things like this.
The most important thing for her right now is to help Zhan Ye find an antidote!
Luo Luo was stunned. Right after, his eyebrows which were raised high had collapsed: "Even you don't dare to join!"
Originally when people had heard they will be competing against the people of the east courtyards with real weapons and knifes, many students had cowered. These students of nobility who were pampered since childhood had no gift and had a random feeling of cowardliness when facing those with talent.
Ever since Huang Bei Yue had defeated Xue Meng on the arena that day on, the truth that a normal person had defeated a martial arts master had shocked them.
Now in their hearts, Huang Bei Yue was a symbol. It seemed as though as long as she stood up then she would be able to defeat the talented people of the east courtyard, masters that had led them to be envious of!
However, Huang Bei Yue had not considered their feelings at all. No matter how much hope the glances made towards her had, she chose to ignore them still.
Due to the skills competition, the few professors in the Imperial College were discussing about it. They probably wouldn't be coming over any time soon.
Huang Bei Yue didn't want to be annoyed by the people of the Imperial College so she went outside to get some air.
The Imperial College's design was the graceful and classical landscape style of building. In order to train the student's sentiments, they had especially designed each scenic spot to be elegant and of interest.
Some of the places were remote and hidden away. The gardens were deep and if someone were to slightly not pay attention, they would probably get lost while walking in.
Huang Bei Yue stood in a patch of bushes and leaves for a while. She looked at the Seventh Tower in the far distance. Right now, the weather was bright and clear. Under the white clouds, the Seventh Tower seem majestic.
What she stepped under might be the sea of fire she had passed by that day. It was hard to imagine that above the vast sea of fire was actually a glorious and full of vitality city like the Lin Huai City.
Ever since she had got back from underground, Zhan Ye most likely had a clear view of Lin Huai City's position and understanding. In his heart, he was probably bothered by this.
Lin Huai City, is incapable of being Nan Yi Guo's capital city forever. Looking in the long terms, they must move!
Zhan Ye was that wise and calm. He must have seen through these things clearly already. There was no need for her to explain this.
When she looked towards the Seventh Tower, her eyes were cold as though frost. It was like her whole temperament – clear and chilly, letting people not dare to come close.
Within the deepness of the forest, there was suddenly a familiar sound that rang. Huang Bei Yue faintly turned her eyes around to see a man with impressive appearance with a body of multi-color embroidered clothes, head wearing a crown and carrying a sword whom had walked out.
Huang Bei Yue had quickly swept her eyes over him and wanted to leave. Who knew that person had opened his mouth instead…
"Are you a student of the Ling Yang College?" As soon as he opened his mouth, his words gave people the feeling as though he was looking down from that of a higher position…
If this person was really born to be high up and used to giving orders with the imposing manner of controlling everything, then she might give him some faces. After all, when facing masters of a higher grade, she needed to give the respective respect to them.
However this person only looked to be impressive and have only a trace of royalty imposing manner. What made it a pity was that…he was just a normal person of royalty.
