"You mean, you don't know my name?"
"No, I don't."
"What kind of person doesn't know the name of their housekeeper? I mean, I know your name!"
"Well, I'm your boss so you have to know whose name you answer to and whose name you'll be screaming when you're under me," Richard replied, giving her a cheeky grin.
"What kind of boss only thinks with his third leg?" Skylar asked with an unimpressed look on her face.
"The kind who is yet to know your name."
"Urgghh. My name is Skylar" she replied, rolling her eyes.
"OK I'll call you Sky, it'll explain why you're always blue," He said, making Skylar roll her eyes again.
"You're impossible. I'm not blue, or sad, I'm just irritated by you. You know what? I'll call you Rich."
"It'll explain why I'm rich right? but no, you'll call me boss"
"If you're calling me Sky, I'm calling you Rich. Now what are your other demands?"
"I'm going to write them down for you," he said "I hope you can read?" he mummured to her hearing as he walked out of the kitchen and headed to the study.
Skylar watched his back as he left. The rage she felt was making her eye twitch. She didn't know how long she stood there with clenched fist, heaving in and out until she felt the pain of her fingers digging into her palms after which her stomach growled.
She quickly cleaned the kitchen and prepared dinner for herself and Rich.
She was so famished that she was having a headache, so she wolfed down her food hurriedly before heading to the study with Richard's food.
Low light was coming from the base of the door; she wondered what he was doing in there. Holding the tray with her hands, she knocked with her leg.
"Who's there?" Richard thundered
"Who else could it possibly be?" she retorted.
"Oh, it's my worst nightmare. What do you want?"
"I'm bringing you food, Mr Boss," she was already fuming with rage at his behaviour; though she knew she had not been on her best behaviour all day but he knew just how to get on her last nerves.
The door opened slightly and she walked in with the tray. The table in the study was littered with documents, a laptop, phone, and stationary. Richard helped her clear the table as best as he could while she placed the food on it.
"You should get another table in here; maybe over there, by the window," Skylar suggested.
"I usually don't eat in here."
"Oh"
"You can retire for the night, By the way, here's the list," Richard tossed her a piece of paper with writings on it.
She took the paper and headed to her quarters. After unpacking her bags again, she got ready to sleep. Before she slept, she took a look at Richard's list. It had 'Rules for the Sky' as its title. She rolled her eyes at his cheesiness and decided to read through the it.

This employer-employee relationship seems so weird and inappropriate at times ?
