Capítulo 77: Connections

Learning that RoboCat finally managed to get the girl he liked was a bit of a shock but it didn't hurt the way it would have last fall. Despite his claims that he never did anything, he still had a life beyond his computer or phone screen.

She already accepted that their paths were diverging. No relationship ever lasted; Emily learned that long ago.

At first she had been upset when RoboCat up and left her seemingly out of the blue even though she knew it was her fault for delving into his affairs when he valued his privacy. She found new people to rely on and it looked like he did too.

Even now, though they were talking, it wasn't the same as it used to be. He was definitely holding back. Maybe his girl was uncomfortable with his having an online female friend. Or maybe he didn't need her anymore now that the girl he actually wanted to spend time with gave him the time of day.
