Capítulo 21: Early Morning Date.
Early morning, Elsa got up early and waited eagerly for his message. He needed ten minutes to reach her place and she only needed five minutes to reach the meeting spot.
They decided that they will meet by the bridge as his friend lived near there. While Ray met with his friend, he texted her that he reached. As soon as she got the message, she left her house ,after a last minute checking on how she looked.
As it was early and she was out for a walk, she didn't wear any makeup. She tied her hair into a messy pony tail and wore shorts and a tee. She took a shortcut to reach that place early as she was so excited that she just wanted to run to the meeting place.
But she didn't want him to find how eager she was . So, she tried to slow down her pace a little. As soon as the bridge, where they decided to meet, came into view, Elsa's heart was trying to jump out of her chest.
As she was walking through a shortcut, she came up behind him. She looked at the bridge and saw someone's silohuette, when she focused on it she saw a black tshirt.
At the same time, her phone began to ring and it was him calling. She picked up immediately.
" Hey.." she said.
"Hello.. Where are you? Are you nearby?"
She giggled as she asked," Are you wearing a black t-shirt?"
"Umm noo... A red sleeveless one." He said while looking around.
She noticed an another person near the silohuette, sitting on top of the wall , looking around searching for someone. She chuckled and said, "Look behind you. "
He turned around and found her walking towards him with a smile on her face. He smiled, jumped down from where he was sitting and walked towards her with his friend.
His friend turned towards him in shock, while Ray looked at him and shrugged, while walking faster towards her.
"Heyy.." he said happily and a little shyly.
"Hey... " Elsa said shyly and looked at him. He was wearing a sleeveless red t-shirt and shorts with a small red backpack on him.
She found him cute, it was like an arrow went right through her chest. She was getting all nervous as it was the first time she had a 'date' early morning and that too, near her home.
She looked at his friend and asked," Is this the friend you mentioned?"
" Yeah... This is Aayan. Aayan , this is Elsa. The one I mentioned now."
Both of them smiled and nodded at eachother.
Aayan told Ray," Okay.. I am not disturbing you guys. Carry on. " He left after he winked at Ray and reminded him to give a call before he left home, as he had something to hand over to him.
Elsa continued to walk forward, Ray looked at her puzzedly.
" Umm.. I thought we could go for a walk. As it was the reason I figured to tell my parents so might as well do it."
Ray nodded and hurried join with her. Elsa was nervous as she looked at him, she thought to herself whether this person was the same person to whom she talked every night.
Was he the guy who tried to make her confess?
Was he the guy who held her hand?
Was he the guy who promised a night ride?
Was he the one who promised a pizza date?..
She chuckled to herself before he caught upto her.
Ray was smiling slightly as he looked at her. He found her beautiful in her plain white tee and black shorts.He wanted to hug her but controlled himself.
Soon, they started walking and Elsa came to know that he came by bicycle instead of his bike. She looked at him in horror, " Did you just cover around 10 km in bicycle?"
Ray laughed at her expression and said," I needed to work out ."
Elsa shook her head and tried to grab him. He dodged it and explained seeing her looking confused to why he dodged.
" Umm.. I'm really sweaty now. So don't touch me."
He explained like shy boy.
Elsa laughed finding him so adorable and touched him while saying," Ohh really?...But what if I say I don't mind though."
They were walking around without a place in mind when she remembered the place she came across. She excitedly said," Hey... Come.. Lets go to this place. "
"Which place?"
" This house... It's soo amazing... They have lots of dogs and some white horses. A huge house with so many animals...." Ray looked at her blabbing on and allowed her to pull him in that direction.
As they reached the place, Ray was shocked as he didn't believe that there would be horses like she said. Too bad, that they couldn't enter.
They found a place to sit near the house and made themselves comfortable. They talked about everything except the thing they needed to talk about.
Both of them was just expressing their happiness and they just talked about their friends. Elsa told him about her five group people and narrated on how they all met.
Ray listened to all her talk patiently and shared his friends name and their first meeting.
After sometime, Ray asked," So...?"
Elsa looked up happily and repeated," Soo?..."
Ray shook his head as he decided to talk about it first and said," About Adina..What are we going to do? "
Elsa pretended to think and asked," Why do you think we are lying? Do you know?"
She kept her gaze at him while he looked a little stunned hearing this question.
He soon smiled a little and shook his head," Noo... Do you?"
'Hah... So you are still trying to make me confess huh?!.. Mahn... just say it already..' Elsa smirked inside .
" So... If we don't know the reason, I think this would continue. But, she's not talking to either of us from yesterday. And, the way she texted us showed that she was mad at us. "
Ray looked troubled and nodded along with her.
Elsa wanted him to say it first so she said," So.. We would have to know the reason why we are lying to her in the first place, before we decide on a solution."
She kept on trying to make him talk but he did what she was doing all along acting ' DUMB'.
Ray was going to say something, when his mom called him and asked him to come back soon while the alarm on Elsa's phone rang indicating their time up. She only had one hour and half to spend it with him and it went so fast that she was surprised.
Ray looked like he didn't want to leave but he knew he had to as their time was up. How he wished that he could spend a little bit more with her.
He said," I will walk you home."
"Noo.. It's okay.. You just reach home safely. I can go alone."
But Ray wanted to find her home, so he insisted.
She sighed ," Okay..You can walk me upto a point, then you have to turn back else you might lose your way ."
He was glad that he could spend some extra time with her and agreed to her . While they were walking, they started saying silly things like,
" Look .. this is scar on my forehead,is from my childhood where i slammed against the wall."
Ray also gasped and said," Look even I have a scar on my forehead."
" Wow.. we have matching scars. "
Hearing this, both of them looked at each other before bursting into laughter. They couldn't beleive how stupid their conversations were.
Soon, they reached the point where she could go alone and she reluctantly turned to him," Umm.. Soo... Reach home safely, okay?... "
Ray nodded and looked at her intently while she looked everywhere except him.
"Soo Byee... Message me as soon as you reach. Okay?"
Ray still nodded without saying anything. As she was about to turn away, he said ," Message me when you reach or call. Take care. Byebye."
He didn't want to leave her but he knew he had to . He didn't want her to get grounded but he was finding it so hard to say goodbye after anticipating for this early morning date.
As she was about to say her goodbye, he called out to her.
Elsa smiled and asked," Umm.. Yeah?"
" I forgot to give you something. Wait a minute." Ray said this while ramsacking his bag.
He soon found it and asked Elsa to show her palm.
Elsa looked confused but held out her palm upwards to him. She felt him putting two cold things on it.
When she opened her palm, she smiled hugely. She looked at him happily as she wanted to hug him badly.
He placed two shells from the beach he had gone yesterday. Those shells were really pretty and it was her first time touching it.
He said," These were the ones i took in a hurry. I have a much better one.. and i will give it to you tomorrow. "
Elsa nodded happily and smiled at him. His heart skipped a beat seeing her smile.
Both nodded and turn away from each other , going their different ways.
As Elsa took two steps , she turned back to look at him longingly ,going farther away from her. When she turned front, Ray looked at her back in longing.
He sighed and shook his head..After three more steps, he looked behind once more but was surprised to see her looking at him.He could see the surprise in her eyes. He smiled and waved his hand while she also waved back.
They knew each other's feelings well ... They knew what they wanted.... They didn't want to wait anymore.... They just wanted to hug each other tightly.
' I am going to take a raincheck on you for this hug later..Better be ready to give me lots of hugs when things come out open. ' Ray smiled in his heart.
Capítulo 22: I Love You.
As Elsa reached home, her parents asked how her walk was. She thought about Ray's face and giggled before saying," It was alright. Had a great start to my day."
She took her coffee and ran to her room as she dialled to call him. He asked," You reached?"
" Yea.. sipping on my coffee now.. What about you?"
" Need five more minutes to reach home. I lost my way in between and had to call Aayan to help me out. "
"You lost your way with that extra walking. What would have happened if you came all the way?" Elsa shook her head while saying this.
Ray chuckled and said," Maybe would have come to your place then."
Elsa blushed and said," Maybe thats what you were intending to do from the start."
" Ohh.. You figured it out.. Damn!!" Ray cursed playfully.
Elsa laughed at this and said," Call me once you reach okay.. bye." and hung up after hearing his response.
She was really happy in the morning, she knew she loved him.. and she badly wanted him to be her's alone.
She still can't believe that he fell for her. The one who didn't want to be committed actually fell for her. The one she had a crush on, for the past few months, loved her.
She giggled and texted Adina as its been so long since she talked to her. But, for some reason the messages were not getting delivered. She tried calling her and no answer.
She was getting worried whether Adina was still pissed at her.
As soon as Ray reached home and calmed his mom down. He called her.
"Heyy... Whats up?"
" Heyy... Do you think Adina is mad at us?..I tried messaging her but its not even getting delivered."
"Really... ?... Damn..Is she mad at us?"
"What do we doo?!?!?!....." Elsa cried.
"Let me try... just give me a second."
"Okay..."
"Nope... No response.. Maybe she is mad at us. We are doomed."
"If she asks us the reason why we lied, do you even know what to tell?"
Ray controlled himself from laughing out loud. ' Yes...Continue acting dumb and let's see who would give in first.'
"Noo... How do we figure it out?" Ray smirked.
"Maybe we should ask others opinion. " Elsa said this while hiding her smile.
"Good thinking.. Lets ask them.. We are going to solve this today." Whatever my girl says is right, Whatever my girl wants, I will give it to her.
"Done." Elsa agreed immediately before hunging up.
She called Gwen after few minutes and when she picked up.. Elsa screamed," Gwennnnn...?!!?!?!"
Gwen got worried by her screaming and said, "Shsshhh...Why are you screaming so loudly?"
"I think i am in love. What should I do?" Elsa cried happily.
Gwen was surprised at this revelation. It's been ages since she had seen Elsa this happy. She very much wanted Elsa to date someone and be happy as she deserved it.
She knew how much Elsa appreciated 'being in love.' Even though Brent and her would have fights in between them, Elsa was there to help them out and scold both of them for not caring the other's feelings.
"Are you sure?...Who is this guy? "she asked happily.
" Well i guess... I talk to him for almost every night and then lie to other's that i was talking to you. I get shy when he looks at me, my heart beats fast when he holds my hand, thinking about him drives me crazy and , we just met today at six in morning and went for a walk. So what do you think?" Elsa blabbled on as she couldn't stop herself.
"Yup... you are head over heels in love , my gurl."Gwen squealed.
Elsa tried supressing her grin.But she knew how much Gwen was happy for her.
She heard her ask," So tell me about the guy?and when you are going to confess? "
Elsa told her about Ray and Gwen could feel her happiness through the talk.
"Umm... So the thing is, we didn't tell each other what we feel.. but we kind of know what we feel. But we are not confessing as both of us want the other to speak first. And, you know that i won't say it first, so trying to make him spill it out. " Elsa sighed.
Gwen laughed uncontrollably ," You are acting dumb? You..... God!! No one would believe when someone says that you can't identify your feelings."
Elsa shushed her after this as she can't listen to her laughter. She knew she was acting like an idiot but , there is a special happiness when you hear the three words from your special guy. She was admant on knowing their status , today.
So, if he didn't say anything, she would say it. She didn't want to tell it to him at college as she had no confidence telling it to him while facing his smile and that playful glint in his eyes.
But she had an another worry in her and she couldn't help but voice it out to her.
" Umm... but i'm afraid whether Adina wouldn't like it."
" Why?.. Why would Adina be against you both?" Gwen asked her confusedly.
" Hmm... maybe its just false deduction but i get this feeling that she has a crush on him. And, i really don't want to be the third person. "
" Haven't you asked her about it?"
" Yup.. I have... a million times.. and i have two reasons for it : 1- to know her feelings so that i can be at ease.. 2- to make her know of her feelings. " Elsa said unhappily.
" Whenever i did ask her... she immediately would reject that assumption with a smile. But it's like this feeling i get from her sometimes. My heart would be at unease then."
Gwen said," Well she didn't tell you that she had a crush on him even though you have asked her. So i don't think you need to give him up without an actual reason. And, clearly you both love each other and you know Ray loves you. "
" Yeah i do... but if in case she does have a crush and doesn't want anyone to know. Then, she would get hurt badly and she's only close to both of us. And, i really don't want her to be alone just because we got together. I don't want to feel like a third person. "
" Well i guess you just have to harden your heart. I hate it when you act so considerate for others but on the other hand , thats who you are. So, chin up and tell him." Gwen encouraged her.
" Ohh, i would tell all this to Brent okay... He would be so happy for you. "
" Yeah... that's cool.. just you both now. okay? "
" Deal.."
As soon as she hung up, Elsa called Ray ," I talked to her.. And i somehow know what's wrong with me. What about you?"
" Yeah ... Same up here.... I have figured it out too." Ray grinned happily.
" I won't tell you my problem unless you tell me."
Ray was amazed and asked," Why..?"
' Because my cure is in your hands .' Elsa said silently in her heart.
As she was about to message him, Gwen was pestering her to send a photo of Ray.
Elsa asked him, "Should i use your candids or normal photos?"
" Normal.. Always normal photos. " Ray chose without sparring a second.
Elsa chuckled and told him ," Done."
" Soo..? " Elsa urged him to speak out .
" Sooo..? Tell me... " Ray chuckled at her words.
Elsa got discouraged as he didn't tell her first. As she was about to reply, she got a call from Adina.
She immediately said," Adina called... So what should we tell her..? We need to get our side right..right? "
Ray immediately became focused and said," Yup.. so just tell her the truth.."
" Ah.. What truth? Tell me." Elsa smiled innocently.
" You know i can't tell it now... My sister is near me.."
" But i don't know what to tell her. " Elsa playfully told him.
'Damn ... you still playing...' Ray thought but he figured that she wouldn't tell him first, so decided to give in to her.
Well its my girl after all, Giving in to her won't be that bad.
" Well .. you know... about us... " Ray whispered.
" What about us?" Elsa grinned.
" Check your message." Ray gave up.
Eagerly, she checked her chat only to see that Ray pointed out what she said earlier to him amist their playing.
'Ohh.. i love you soo muchh..!!!!' and replied with a heart on that message.
Elsa grinned happily and jumped all over her room.
' Hah... he finally gave a definition to it..'
She too replied with a heart and told him on phone," Okay.. so let me talk to her and make everything clear. And, you let Aaron know .. okay?"
Ray happily agreed ," Deal.. Call me as soon as you tell her okay... "
" Yeah.." and hung up.
As she was about to dial Adina, she read his confession again, which made her blush red.
She whispered in her heart,
' I Love You.'
She had him....
and he had her....
Finally...
And now, they were starting their new journey together.
