Capítulo 2: How long has it been?

"It feels like I've been drifting for weeks, but it's probably just been a few days." Jay looked back down and tried to refocus on the stick he was sharpening. "Once this is nice and sharp, I'll be able to hunt again. I'm really glad I learned wilderness survival skills. What do you think mister pinecone?" Jay has started talking to himself out of loneliness, he misses real people. "Hey f*ck you too voice in my head. Mister pinecone is a fine outstanding member of my family." Yeah, but we both know you would ditch it in a heartbeat for a real person. "..." That's what I thought. Anyways, Jay here has been alone long enough to start hearing me. If he were to meet another person, he would lose that ability. "I know it would be weird to ask but, voice, who are you talking to?" Well, for one thing, you can call me Arthur, for now, and who I'm talking to is none of your business. "Geez, I was only curious." Don't you have a deer to hunt? "Oh sh*t you're right." Jay then got up with his newly made spear and went hunting.
