"You should get some rest first. You shouldn't talk too much." Gu Mian lowered her head so that she no longer had to look at him.

"I'm right, aren't I? Gu Mian, no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to hide your heinous nature." Tang Zui suddenly gripped her wrist tightly.

Gu Mian sucked in a sharp breath. However, she merely looked at him with indifference. "The doctor said that you shouldn't get emotional because of your head injury and that you should rest more. Even if you want to punish or humiliate me, you should wait until you've recovered."

Gu Mian no longer felt like explaining things. She knew very well that even if she were to explain things to Tang Zui, he would not believe a single word she said.

For some reason, Tang Zui felt a sense of suffocation in his chest when he saw her nonchalant expression. He would have preferred it if she had continued to reason with him and explain things.
