Capítulo 37: Kusanagi Forge

A couple of days has passed since the end of the invasion of Konoha and Riku has been having a hard time. He and his family gave his Uncle a farewell and the village held a funeral for all of the war heroes that passed in the invasion defending the village. The last few days were harsh but he couldn't let this take control of him and he knew that but it was to fresh in his mind. He wanted to distract his mind for a bit from the devastation of the event.

Right now he was in his home as he was going through a book that said Kusanagi in it. This was the book that his father told him that Ryu left for him. In the book there was a few thing. One of the things was inside was directions to what said was the Kusanagi Forge. It explained that this was the place that the Kusanagi clan forged swords one being the Kusanagi sword that Orochimaru wielded but it was forged long ago. He decided that he would make a journey to the forge to distract himself from the aftermath of the invasion.

Riku: Mom, Dad, I am going to go to find the Kusanagi Forge.

Yukine: Son you need to rest.

Riku: No, the more I rest the more I think about things. I need a distraction.

Hayato: I understand you need to find your way in these times. But I am going to come with you.

Riku: Alright.

Riku went back to his room as he started to pack to leave and his father did the same as they would head out the next morning to search for the Kusanagi Forge. He went to bed early as he knew he would wake up early the next morning.

When the next morning came his father was waiting for him outside their house with a bag on. He grabbed his bag as well and went to his father as their mother waved to them saying bye. They started to head to the southwest of Konohagakure as the book tells how to get to the forge from the south side of the land of rivers. It took them a couple of days before they arrived at the south end land of rivers. By the time that they arrived there at the land of rivers Riku had read through most of the book. As he read he learned about the origins of the Kusanagi clan and what exactly he was going to find when he got to the forge. The reason why the clan was in this area was that the forge that they created was in a cave that was full of different metals and was near a powerful natural heat source for them to forge. According to the book as well nearby the forge there was a storage area with many of their forging techniques that they have used in the past.

Riku and his father started to follow the directions and they soon found themself in a cave near the ocean. They walked in to the cave and they saw nothing at all just an ordinary cave. They ended up wandering around inside this what turned out to be this massive cave for a long time and still found nothing. They decided to try one last area in the cave. Once they came to this area it was dark to the point that they couldn't see anywhere. When they were about to head out of the area Hayato hit something hard and metallic feeling.

Hayato: *wham* What did I just hit?

He started to weave hand signs as he was going to use a jutsu to light up the area.

Hayato: Fire release: Fireblade.

Hayato's hand lit on fire as he wove it near the area that he just bumped into and what they saw was not the normal rocks that made up the cave what they saw was a metal door. As they tried to enter the door it was locked so Hayato used sever release to cut through the door and they entered the room. They saw it was still pitch black but soon found an area that looked like they light on fire. They lit it on fire as there was a light that turned on near the roof revealing the area. As the light turned on what was revealed was a large amount of different metals and crystals scattered throughout the area.

Riku: Wow. This is amazing.

Hayato: I expect nothing less from the Kusanagi clan.

They decided to go further into the forge and soon came across what looked like a furnace room that was very hot. Riku decided to open up the furnace and soon realized that it was powered by magma. After exploring the furnace he went to another area nearby that was supposed to be the area that stored the clans forging techniques. As he got there he saw hundreds of books in the cave and decided that he would spend some time and look through the books and decide what to read to enhance his already deadly Kiba swords.
