Capítulo 36: End of the Invasion
Riku put way the Kiba swords as for this they wouldn't help. He then still in resonance formed Asami's sword form in his right hand. He reached his hand to the cloth that stored his sheaths with and brought one out of the seal. He put Asami into the sheath as he transferred the unicorn chakra to the blade as he combined it with sever release and purified the combination. As he was still in full resonance and the sever release armor he moved at a exceptional speed towards the leg of the huge tanuki. He brought out his sword and performed his move.
Riku: Secret Technique: Severing Spirit Dance of a Hundred Cuts.
He went into a blur as he started the dance. In a mere 10 seconds one hundred slashes came out from RIku. His footwork was exquisite as he laid down the slashes in the way that Arc showed him as he slashed and occasionally resheathed his blade to combine the sever release and unicorn chakra. The attack wasn't strong enough to create major damage to the monster that he was fighting but he knew that he had causes small cuts to appear in a lot of places on the monsters leg. He stored the now empty chakra storing katana back in the seal and took out the other katana he had. He inserted his sword again as he would unleash another attack to hurt the beast.
Riku: Secret Technique: Severing Spirit Horn Slash
Since there was some damage already to the leg this attack would hit hard. As the chakra impact came it opened up the small cuts more while making a huge cut on the leg. The attack was enough to make the tanuki's leg immobile. He was lucky that Naruto and the giant fox was there as they had the tanuki's attention. As the Tanuki now stopped moving from Riku's attack Naruto took the opportunity to wake up Gaara. Once he woke up Gaara the tanuki started to disappear as well as the fox disappeared. Gaara and Naruto fell to the ground as they were both exhausted and drained. Riku caught both of them before they hit the ground hard and put them down.
Riku: You good Naruto?
Naruto: Yeah just let me talk to this guy alone we will be fine.
RIku: Alright I am gonna head back and help. I will let them know to send a medical shinobi.
Riku started to head back to the village and saw that the village had calmed down a lot and everything was about to be wrapped up. He told some people about how there was a need for medical shinobi outside of Konoha. They sent some medical shinobi there to take care of it and since everything was ending he went to find his family. He looked for a while and eventually found them with a bunch of other Jonin there like Kakashi sensei and Guy sensei. They all had a sad appearance.
Riku: What's wrong?
Yukine: Riku sit down.
Riku: Huh.
Riku sat down as the Hokage walked up to Riku with a very sad face.
Hiruzen: Riku your sensei has passed.
Shocked Riku stood up as his eyes widened he didn't know what to say or do. It took some time before it fully hit him and when it did he broke down as he wanted to not believe it.
Riku: Is he really dead?
Hiruzen: Yes he died right in front of me.
Riku: How did he die?
Hiruzen: He died protecting me and the village to the end. He took a hit from Orochimaru and he sealed the two former Hokages that Orochimaru brought back with the impure world reincarnation.
Riku: Can I see him to say goodbye?
Hiruzen: Of course.
Hiruzen, his mother and father brought Riku to the area that Ryu passed. Riku walked up to the dead body of his sensei as he saw his sensei's suffering. He saw the deep cut on his sensei's chest and his sensei's shattered sword in the distance. He saw that his sensei died with a smile on his face as he realized that his sensei had fulfilled his life. But what hurt him most was that his sensei who looked after him for around a year now had passed he started to look up to Ryu. This shinobi world was harsh as he lost his uncle and a role model in the same day. He grabbed his sensei's hand as he was breaking down in tears.
Hiruzen: I know that you have a great hatred for Orochimaru for doing this. But ryu said don't go after him for vengeance you are not ready don't make a rash decision. He has faith that you will follow the right path and will attain your goals.
Riku: Ryu sensei thank you for all that you have done for me. I will never forget you and I know that you are watching over me from the heavens. I promise to be a student that will make you proud.
