"And why did you think that he likes me? We barely new each other and he's been with us for only few weeks." Drew can't believe Lou's conclusion. "Trust me, he likes you." Lou said. Drew rolled her eyes.
They went out together, Lou is in good mood now. "Drew, I'm having my birthday celebration next month. I already invited your team so you can't say NO." Mildred said. "Yes, Auntie we'll go no matter what." Drew said leaving her no chance because her team had already said YES.
Epsilon decided to bid their farewell on the old Garcia couple. Because it is Sunday, none of them is scheduled for cooking so they concerted to dine on one of the restaurant they will pass by before the military camp.
Chase drove Drew's Range Rover Sport. She was reluctant at first but because Chase's parents and her team forced her not to drive because of her wounds, she acceded after a while.
Chase parked the car and all of them walked in at once at the restaurant. Because it was Sunday, families and friends occupied almost all the tables and chairs inside the place.
A server approached them smiling. "Sir, I'm really sorry, but, as you can see, we are jam packed. Are you willing to wait for your turn?" The server asked particularly looking at Chase. "Yes, miss, where can we wait?" Dylan said. "Please follow me." The server said.
"Does it hurt?" Chase asked. "A little but it's tolerable." Drew answered. "Later, I'll change the dressing." Chase said. "I can do it by myself." Drew answered. Before Chase can retort to Drew's stubbornness, the server pulled him and said, "Sir, you can sit here" with an inviting smile. Drew arched her brow and Lou saw it.
"Why you're face like that?" Lou whispered.
"She's deliberately giving herself to Chase." Drew said. Lou giggled. "A jealous girlfriend indeed." Lou said that made Drew looked at her, warning her to keep quiet. Lou waved her hands as if surrendering.
"You can look at our menu for the meantime, Sir, so when you have the table to eat, we can serve your meal immediately." The server said still talking only to Chase. "Ok." Chase only response.
"Senior, the server likes you." Dylan said with a teasing tone. "Yeah, she's only looking at you." Shawn said. "We're good looking too, is she blind?" Spencer said that made the rest laughed. "Sorry guys, amongst you, ah wait, let me rephrase that." Lou said and looked around the place. "Amongst the men in this place, Senior is the handsomest." Lou continued. Chase smiled and shaked his head. "Ok, the dinner is on me." Chase said that made the rest laughed.
"Sir, your table is ready, please follow me." The server said. Chase felt awkward because the server held his arm guiding them going to their table. The rest of the Epsilon saw it and they looked at each other meaningfully. Lou looked at Drew and the latter only raised her brow.
"Can I get your order, Sir?" The server asked. She was too close to Chase that the latter felt suffocated. Drew noticed it and sighed. "Excuse me, Miss." Drew said that the rest looked at her. "Yes, Ma'am?" The server said. "Is it necessary that when you're taking orders, you should be that close? You're client might die of shortness of breath." Drew said that made her team's mouths opened widely. The server was surprised on Drew's sudden bluntness and felt awkward. "I'm sorry, Ma'am." The server said. "Besides, this is a restaurant. You should serve your clients with respect and not with flirtatious manners." Drew continued that made the server dumbfounded.
The Epsilon members looked at each other, "There she goes again!" were written on their minds. Chase wanted to laugh. "I think I must avoid girls from now on. She's a jealous type." He said inwardly while observing Drew.
"Miss, comeback later for our orders." Dylan said. The server nodded. "What's with you?" Dylan asked facing Drew. "What's with her?" Drew answered. "She's too showy of her flirting. A server is not for her. Maybe, she will do better being a hostess in a bar." Drew said with little annoyance in her voice. "You can't really behave your mouth." Dylan said shaking his head. "You know me." Drew said.
"You know what, Chase?" Lou said that made Drew looked at her. "Our Alpha here is really a frank one. Remember guys when we went out to drink because it was Shawn's birthday?" Lou asked her teammates and the rest said YEAH in response. Drew looked at Lou with daggers in her eyes but the latter only smiled at her sweetly.
"We were enjoying our drinks, then, suddenly, there was a commotion not far from our table. The server lost her balance and accidentally poured all the wine glasses she's carrying on one of the customer. Of course, because of the effects of the alcohol, the customer got angry." Lou continuously said.
"He's shouting vulgar words to the server. Even his colleagues were talking nonsense. The manager went out and apologised but they continue balderdashing." Lou continued. "Of course, our heroine here came to the rescue." Lou said looking at Drew who was making herself busy with the menu list but in real, she wanted to stop Lou's mouth.
"She moved towards the table and tried to make things better but it bacame worst. The customer's anger was transferred to her. She just listened at first to his talkativeness but when she had enough, she punched the customer that led to a bigger commotion." Lou said. "What happened next?" Chase asked curiously that made Drew looked at him but he was attentively waiting for Lou's answer.
"As expected, we're on the same team, so in the end, we helped her in crushing those bastards. And because we're one team, we're suspended after that." Lou said smiling. The rest laughed. Drew blushed.
"That was in the past already and it never happen again." Drew said in an annoyed tone. "That's right, because we'll not help you anymore if you will do it again." Dylan said smiling. "I can deal with them even without your help." Drew said proudly. "Yeah, that's for sure, but can you deal with your dad? Remember, he said that if it happens again, goodbye Epsilon." Shawn said. Drew kept quiet.
Another server approached them, they didn't ask anymore about the server a while ago because they knew, she had her lesson.
They ordered their food and after dinner, they went home to rest.
