Capítulo 100: The dumb and the dumber!
"By the way who do you think sold you out?"
"It was Ric and Moira!"
Ani Rain ng mahimasmasan.
"They used Glaiza as a bait, knowing Glaiza is close to you. Catherine did the same kaya't alam nilang hindi mo iyon mapapalagpas. I saw them dragging Glaiza and I give myself in, in exchange!"
"Who give you the right to do that? para saan yong training mo?"
Inis na bulyaw ni Sophia sa lalaki.
"I don't trust Glaiza, either. I had a hint that she was just going with the flow and observing everything!"
"But Moira said, she doesn't knew anything about that stupid chief?"
Sophia said confusedly.
"I think Moira was just being drag into this mess as she's Ric cousin, that poor girl doesn't have a choice!"
Natahimik silang lahat habang nag iisip.
"I heard that Mark Galo is a son of a former senator and Catherine—"
"She's just a spy planted in Mr. Lim side by Mr. Galo. She post as Mr. Lim's daughter as Lim's real daughter is still a hostage in Mr. Galo's house!"
"Catherine is just a victim!"
"I know!"
Ani Sophia sa komento ni Leo.
"If you think I'm that cold blooded monster, it's up to you! but I didn't randomly ki—"
She stop when Rain pressed her hand and shook his head.
"Whatever!"
Napangiti naman si Leo sa harap, he just realized that there's a special bond between Sophia and Rain.
The dumb and the dumber! He thought to himself.
Not that he doesn't know about Sophia's identity that Rain had to hide it from him.
"What are we going to do now?"
Mayamamaya tanong ni Leo sa kanya.
"We? when did it become we?"
"Do you think they're going to leave me alone pag nalaman nilang kasama ako sa mga bumangga sa anak niya?"
Now everything becomes more complicated, isa palang big time ang binangga nila and it was like a series of unfortunate events as it was all connected.
Mr. Lim and Catherine was already out of the picture but behind them meron pa palang mas malalang problema.
"I'm really going to take over that damn alliance!"
Sophia said with determination.
"That's too dangerous!"
Leo and Rain said in chorus.
"Fish wont just jump out of the water with out a bait!"
Makahulugan niyang sabi.
It was plain and simple. The plan is to lure Mr. Galo by getting his attention and to do that, kailangan niya muna maging Chief alliance.
"I don't want to involve you into this—"
"Thanks for your concern melady!"
Sarkastikong sagot ni Leo sa kanya.
"But I'm already into this mess."
"How many time do I have to tell you—you jerk!"
Bulyaw ni Sophia kay Leo.
"Why you always gets into my nerve?"
"Did I?"
"Why the two of you can't sit in one place? Having the two of here makes me nuts!"
Ani Rain na natuliglig ang taynga sa sigawan ng dalawa.
"This is not a time for the two of you to argue over something really stupid, we had a bigger problem ahead of us!"
"Exactly!" Leo agreed.
"So again it was because of me, ako na naman may kasalanan?"
This is insane! Ani Rain sa sarili, kung hindi niya gagawan ng paraan na mapalapit ang dalawa walang mangyayari sa mga ito.
They like to bicker over petty things! It remind him of the movie about the dumb and the dumber.
"Stop the car!"
Malakas na sigaw ni Rain kay Leo. It was already 9 in the evening at parang paikot ikot lang sila sa iisang lugar.
Leo suddenly step on the brake na ikinasubsob ni Sophia.
"What the hell?"
Rain suddenly went out the car.
"Get out!"
anyang hinablot ang kwelyo ni Leo at pwersahan itong inilabas saka naupo sa driver seat at tiningnan ang dalaga sa rearview mirror and he signalled her to get out.
Wala sa sarili namang napasunod si Sophia, it was already too late for her to realized what was going on when Rain took the car with out them.
"Yaaaa. .you jerked!"
Narinig pang sigaw ni Rain, he just wave his hand to them.
"It's your fault?"
Sumbat ng dalaga sa lalaki.
"Why you're always blaming me?"
"Who else should I blame then, damn it!"
"What a cursing queen!"
Leo hissed, iniwanan niya si Sophia sa kinatatayuan nito.
"What a rascal!"
Bulong ni Sophia sa sarili pero wala syang nagawa kundi ang sumunod rito ng mapagtantong nag iisa na lamang siya.
Rain drop them in the middle of nowhere at ang isa pang ikinaiinis niya hindi niya kabisado ang lugar at wala din syang cellphone.
"Do you have a phone?"
"Why?"
Malamig nitong tanong sa kanya, Sophia rolled her eyes and clutch her fist tightly.
One more at talagang tatamaan kana sa akin! Inis na inis niyang bulong sa sarili.
"Why? Bakit pwedi naba kainin ang cellphone ngayon?"
"I don't know. .malamang!"
Natatawa nitong sagot sa kanya. Sophia lost her temper ng marinig ang sagot ng lalaki.
"What an embicile!"
She suddenly attacked him with a side kick but Leo manage to block it with his arms.
"Not bad!"
Sophia snorts that makes him smirked.
She attacked again and again but Leo keep on dodging it. even if she'll hit him he's not making a counter attack.
"Are you not tired?"
Mayamaya tanong ni Leo sa kanya.
"Not until I beat the hell out of you!"
Anyang hinihingal na sa sobrang pagod, Leo himself is a good fighter. Halos magkapareha lang silang dalawa ng skills pero aminado si Sophia na mas malakas ang lalaki interms of physical strenght.
She need to trick and divert his attention to finished it, ika nga pag di nakuha sa santong dasalan eh di kuhanin mo sa santong paspasan.
"Why you are not attacking me? Are you that scared to hurt me, Are you in love with me?"
"Wait—whaaaaat. . ."
Leo's voice suddenly fade into the air when Sophia caught him off guard and give him a brazillian kick. Tinamaan niya sa panga ang lalaki na ikinapanaw nito ng ulirat.
Leo fell in a ground with a loud thud, daig pa niya nakakita ng milyong milyong alitaptap nang matamaan ng sipa ni Sophia.
"Oh my Gosh. .did I just kill him?"
Natataranta namang dinaluhan ng dalaga ang lalaking parang tuod na nakahiga sa lupa.
She check his pulse.
Thank God he's still alive! anya sa sarili.
The place was dim, may kalayuan kasi ito sa street light at wala ring mga sasakyan na napapadaan sa lugar.
The place was deserted and it was like haunted,may naririnig siyang alon sa may di kalayuan, it's a river! Pakunswelo niya sa sarili.
Nagsimula na syang panayuan ng balahibo, she's really scared of ghost or any horror story, napalingon sya bigla ng makarinig ng kaluskos sa may damuhan she was about to scream when someone grab her and cover her mouth.
"Ssssshhhh!"
Ani Leo sa kanya.
It was that very night ng magimbal silang dalawa nang makasaksi ng isang ka rumal dumal na krimen.
Parang nawalan ng lakas na napaluhod at napahagulgol si Sophia ng makilala ang biktima!
