Sarah was getting ready to go to work, and she saw that JoAnna is calling. "Is everything OK?", there was panic in her voice.

JoAnna exhaled, it was obvious that she is frustrated. "Hi, Sarah, how are you? … What kind of a 'hello' was that?"

"Sorry... I'm just nervous. You left last night with Jeff, and I didn't hear back from you."

"You know that he is treating me well, right?"

Sarah didn't respond. She knows that, and she is ashamed by her behavior.

JoAnna continued in a pleading tone: "Baby sis... I love him. And he loves me. We are together... can you accept that? Please?"
