Capítulo 68: Talking business is very uncomfortable

Erza wore her armor back as she walked toward Bourne, who squatted down to check on the condition of the water.

"How?"

Bourne shook his head and said, "Even if we (I) have defeated the frog, but the water is still...." He was sure that it was because of the frog that these beautiful pools had been contaminated and become ugly shit.

"Is there any other method that we can do to clean these pools?" Erza asked. If it was only defeating an opponent then she could use her sword, spear, various weapons to end its lives, but it was very hard for her to clean up these pools. The only thing she could do was to report to the head village and told him that the frog which had caused the water of these pools to turn into a lumpy, dark liquid had disappeared, however, if they wanted to return the pools into the way it was, then they needed to work hard by themselves since she couldn't do it.

Bourne thought for a while and he knew that he could use his "Water" magic to clean up these pools, but he didn't want to work for free. He was neither a hero nor a saint. He wanted to have compensation for his hard work.

"I can clear it, but I need to talk with the head village, can you guide me to meet this person?" Bourne asked.

"Yes."

Erza nodded without hesitation.

---

Erza wasn't sure why Bourne wanted to meet the head village. She had a feeling that he had a way to save the pools, but it needed a long of time or he needed to get the necessary item, however, she didn't expect that he would talk about business.

Bourne felt that this village was good for a resort location, especially with a lot of hydrangea flowers which surrounded the village. He said that in exchange for him getting some land on the nearby hot spring pools, he would clear up the pools from the pollution.

However, the head village was troubled by Bourne's request since the pools were owned by everyone.

Bourne didn't care and he only wanted some land nearby. It didn't mean that he would take all of the pools by himself. He also told them that he could also get the villagers as an employee of his resort later which also gave them an income later.

Bourne knew in this small village, there wasn't any land certificate and even if he forcefully occupied this place, the village couldn't complain and was helpless since he was a very strong magician.

To make this head village agree, Bourne also told them that he would also help the village when there was a danger since he was the man of one of the Ten Saints Wizards.

Even if they didn't agree then Bourne didn't really mind since if that was the case then he wouldn't do anything to help them and they would get nothing.

In the end the head village agreed, but he needed to talk with all of the villagers.

Bourne didn't really mind and told him to talk with the villagers first. Even if they lied, he could make this place frozen, drought, or something more.

If he was a dark magician then he wouldn't talk on negotiation with the head villagers and directly killed all of the villagers then owned all of the village by himself, but he wasn't a dark magician after all.

Bourne suddenly understood why there were a lot of dark magicians since it was easier to make money that way rather than working tirelessly in dangerous work and only got a limited sum of reward.

Erza listened to their conversation in silence, even though it felt slightly uncomfortable, what Bourne did was similar to a magician in the guild.

Bourne could clear the pools, but he wouldn't do it for free.

Erza also got the money after she had cleared the quest so she didn't have a right to say anything to him.

After a few hours of waiting, the head villager along with the villagers agreed with Bourne's request.

Bourne held the head villager's hand and told him that it would be a great cooperation between them.

"I need a day or two at that time, you shouldn't get close to the pools until I come back to the village," Bourne said.

They nodded and listened to him since the meaning of magician was very mysterious for a normal people like them and at the same time, it was also the reason why they feared him.

---

Bourne walked back to the pools and Erza followed him.

"Don't you think that you have taken too much from the village?" Erza asked.

"If it isn't me then do you think that they can get their beautiful pools back?" Bourne asked.

"This...?" Erza understood, but she didn't really like it.

"You don't need to think too much," Bourne said.

"But don't you think that they will be even more grateful toward you if you help them for free?" Erza asked.

"Well, why don't you give your money back to the villagers and I'm sure that they'll be grateful toward you even more, Erza," Bourne said.

"........"

Erza was silent when she heard it.

Bourne stopped and looked at Erza. "I know that you feel uncomfortable, but when we talk about money, let's put aside our feelings first. You should know that when I own some lands near the pools then the benefit that will be received by the villagers will be higher than if I leave them alone."

Erza raised her eyebrow and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Like what I've told the head villagers before that as I've occupied some lands in this place then I'll also protect the villagers from the same disaster which might hit them in the future. Let me ask you a question, if the same disaster hits them again in the future then they need to pay you again and your price isn't cheap, right?" Bourne asked.

"Well... that's true." Erza felt a bit embarrassed since she had received 800,000 Jewels for this quest. However, she shared it with Bourne since he was the one who mostly did the quest.

"But if I occupy this place then I can protect this place for free, which one do you think is more beneficial for them in the long term?"

"....It's you?"

"Yes. You're smart." Bourne smiled and patted Erza's head.

Erza hurriedly swept Bourne's hand away from her head. Even though it felt good, she wasn't a child and it was too embarrassing to be seen. She was Erza the Titania and as a knight, she couldn't show her weakness, right?

Erza blushed and felt annoyed.

Bourne didn't care too much and walked to these pools quickly.

---

Both of them had arrived right in the pools before Bourne put his hand on one of the pools and used his magic to clear up the pollution within.

It was only a moment, but Erza understood that this guy wasn't as simple as it seemed to be.

*Swoosh!*

A blinding light covered all the pools within and erased all of the impurity, showing the beauty of nature.

So what did Bourne do after this?

Bourne took off his clothes and jumped directly into one of the pools.

I feel like I need some stimulation to make this novel become more interesting....

So let's be wild after this....

Capítulo 69: Glowing Leviathan

"As expected, a natural hot spring is the best!"

Bourne recalled his childhood time when he took a bath in the natural hot spring behind Ur's house.

For him, who mastered "Water" magic, searching for a water source was as easy as stealing candy from a baby.

If he wanted, he might become a "bathing tycoon", owning the largest public bathing chains in the world.

However, even though it was easy money, he didn't really want to do it since most "bathing houses" would be related to prostitution.

Prostitution, itself, was good business since it generated a lot of money, but of course, he would be frowned upon.

In the end, Bourne didn't think too much and enjoyed the hot spring silently. It happened to be at night, however, this place wasn't covered in darkness since the pools were glowing in blue light.

It was a really breathtaking view and he hoped to bring Ur and Ultear in this place too, but he needed to make the resort first so they could have a private time together.

Bourne wanted to take a picture of these pools, but in the end, he decided to relax first since he could do that later.

It was at this moment, Bourne heard a sound of someone entering the pool, of course, he turned his head since if he didn't so he wouldn't be called a man however.....

"......"

Bourne became instantly disappointed when he saw what happened in front of him.

Erza entered the pool, but she didn't take off her armor and entered the pool by wearing swimwear along with armor in her body. Upon entering the pool, she sighed in relief and felt all of the forwon on her body disappeared, but at the same time, she realized that Bourne was looking at her.

"What's wrong?"

"It's not what's wrong?! What happened?! Don't you know that it is rude to wear clothes in a hot spring?!"

Bourne stood up instantly and couldn't handle it anymore. He felt that this girl was too rude toward the hot spring.

The moment he stood up, he forgot that he didn't wear anything below and showed the leviathan between his legs, but he didn't care and needed to teach this girl a manner or else his heart couldn't calm down.

"......."

Fortunately, the pool was glowing so the leviathan was hidden by the light of the pool.

However, Erza didn't look at him, but rather the leviathan between his legs since this scene was more intriguing.

Bourne didn't care much about Erza's eyes and he preached to her how sacred hot spring was while moving, dangling around.

"......."

It seemed that Erza didn't hear what Bourne had told her and her eyes kept following the movement of his leviathan from right to left, from up to down. She felt that it was very mysterious and she was wondering how the light would follow this leviathan around.

'Is it about this size?'

Erza made a scale using her hands and raised her eyebrow since it might be biggest one that she had seen. In the past, she also had taken a bath with a male member of Fairy Tail such as Natsu and Gray, but both of them were small compared to what she had seen here.

"Erza, did you hear me?"

"Huh? Wh, what?"

"......."

Bourne was speechless when he saw that Erza didn't even listen to him. "I mean, you should take off your armor when you're in the bath."

"......."

Erza stared at Bourne for a while and said, "No!" She had a blush on her face and didn't expect this guy to ask her to take off her clothes and become naked.

"Why?"

"Just no!"

Erza couldn't tell him that she was afraid to take off her armor. Her heart was fragile and she was haunted by her past, even though everyone on the guild had helped her so much, but it didn't reach deep into her heart.

Bourne raised his eyebrow and wondered whether this girl had her own reason. He sighed and sat down in the pool once again. "Even if you don't want to, then why don't you change your iron armor into clothing based armor. Your armor might rust faster if you dip into this pool."

"Rust?"

Erza raised her eyebrow for a while, but she nodded. She changed her armor into clothing based armor and somehow, she felt embrassed.

Bourne nodded and felt satisfied. He closed his eyes and relaxed himself.

Erza had a hard time relaxing but when she saw that Bourne seemed to be relaxed and even floated on the pool itself, she raised her eyebrow, especially when Bourne's levithan shone once again.

"......."

"Bourne, did you learn light magic?" Erza asked.

"No. What's wrong?" Bourne asked.

"......."

Erza wanted to ask something, but she felt that she was too embrassed to ask this question. She took a deep breath and decided to not overthink, but in the end, his shining levithan kept appearing on her head. She became very bothered and she decided to ask, "Bourne, I know it is a bit rude, but I want to ask you a question?"

"What's wrong?"

"Why is that part of yours shining?" Erza asked.

"Which part?" Bourne asked.

"That part."

"Which?"

"That!"

In the end, Erza pointed her finger at Bourne's shining leviathan.

"Oh, it is just censorship since the reader might be bothered by it," Bourne said.

"Huh? Cencorship? The reader?" Erza was confused.

"Don't think too much. Enjoy the pool while you can since you might need to pay in if you want to enter this pool in the future," Bourne said while watching the night sky.

It might be because this place was free of pollution so he could see a clear sky that was full of stars which was very beautiful.

Bourne took his camera and took a picture of the sky.

In the end, Erza didn't think too much and also relaxed.

---

The next morning, Bourne reported that he had cleared the pools and he would send his people soon.

The head villager nodded and thanked him.

Bourne didn't care about how grateful they were since he couldn't eat it. He received the contract from villagers and then decided to continue his journey. He looked at Erza and and asked, "Do you want me to send you to the train station?"

"Yes."

Erza wore a helmet and then sat on the back seat, looking at this motorcycle, she was wondering whether she could buy it at him.

---

Overlooking the scenery of the town, there were two figures standing next to each other.

Behind the figures of two people, there was a large number of people.

One figure with huge stature and fat body seemed quite nervous, and the other one had this cruel smirk and long blonde hair, his eyes were crazed and thirsty of something.

"Ugh... Zancrow, w, w, w, what should we do?" The fat man asked while stuttering and nervously, looking at the man beside him.

"Ha? What else? They're just a bug! We're going trample them!" The man laughed cruelly and he was ready to erase everything.

"Ugh.. if, if, if only Ultear is here...." The fat man held his head while squatting down.

"Ha? Why are you mentioning that traitor! If we meet her then just kill her! Isn't that what Master has told you?!"

"Ugh.. r, r, really? I, I, I've got to kill Ultear?"

"Of course!" The man smirked and said, "But let's do that later since we need to kill all the people in this city first!"

"Oh, oh, oh!" The fat man nodded several times. He looked at the men behind him and said, "L, l, l, let's go everyone!"

"YEAH!!!!!"

The fat man and the cruel man walked together and no one could stop them at this moment.
