Capítulo 36: Different outlook and mentality
There are many different worldviews, that is, worldview, mentality. They were formed on the basis of ideology, perhaps experience, of various social systems.
Different worldviews or different worlds may be easier. But they even inside each other have their own differences.
For example, the Western world and the Eastern. European and Asian. Capitalist and Socialist (in the past). Confrontation between the systems of the West and the North.
Confrontation blocks.
Allied confrontation in the Cold War.
Internal confrontation of empires and colonies.
The exploiters and the exploited.
Slaves and masters.
Clan system and individual individuals who want to get the right to freedom of choice.
The confrontation of the golden billion and third world countries.
All this gave rise to different understandings of the world, different memes, different emojis, different worldviews.
What is considered understandable to some, others do not understand this, and vice versa.
What does a cat do? She meows. What does a mouse do? She is sneaking. Meme
Different idioms, different sayings, different philosophy of life.
Carnegie, sociability, activism in the West is success for advancement, in the East, the east that is not connected with capitalism, this is the path to oblivion. Since the proverb is valid - the initiative is punishable, do not lean out to kill. They don't like too active people, the laws of "office wars" begin to apply. Western methods of successful sales are not effective in the East.
The Western mentality, says, when problems arise, solve them right there ... In the West it works, in the East it leads to even bigger problems. In the East, the problem ... they let her lie down ... it takes time, maybe a year ... but it works.
What is it like to look at the world after your country was a superpower, the first or maybe the second on Earth, and after becoming a small third world country? What is it like to have high-tech industries, space, aviation, tractor, engineering, electronics. And then in a couple of decades it's all to lose and stay at the level of handicraft artisanal production, and then just have the industry at the level of just a licensed assembly of other people's ideas and solutions.
Have gravity weapons, have ballistic missiles, and then stay with weapons that are 30-40 years behind the world ...
These are all quite interesting topics for writing novels. But probably requiring writers more developed imagination and writing skills for an exciting work of art.
