She smiles at Leo then goes and lays down on the couch. 'I am extremely fortunate. I don't think I would've survived this if he and Will hadn't come here.' The sleep takes over, and she welcomes it.
Leo watches Kitty walk to the couch and lay down. Once he sees that she is settled down, he gets back to work on moving the rest of the books and whatever else she had packed up. Leo makes sure that it's all in the truck, then closes the truck doors, heads to the kitchen and grabs a glass of water. He drinks all the water. Leo goes to Kitty. "Kitsune, it's time to wake up. We have to head to Cindy's place and get her stuff loaded up."
She opens her eyes, and she looks so exhausted. "Mmmmk." She closes her eyes again.
"As much as I want to let you sleep. I need you to wake up, Love." He goes back to the kitchen, opens the freezer, and grabs an ice cube. He goes back to Kitty. He wouldn't normally do this, but he couldn't find Cindy's place without her help. He lifts up the back of her shirt and lets the ice cube slide down it.
She feels the ice cube go down her shirt. She frowns, then sits up and feels it go down her back. She opens her shirt and shakes it out, then glares up at him. "That was cruel!!" She pouts and picks up the ice cube. She stands up, opens his shirt and drops it down his shirt.
"I'm sorry, Kitsune. I tried to wake you nicely, and you went back to sleep. If we weren't short on time, I would've let you sleep." He leaves the ice cube and shivers from how cold it is.
"Well, that is one quick way to wake up someone." She lifts up his shirt and lets the ice cube fall to the ground. "Let's go to Cindy's place and finish getting the truck packed so that we can leave tomorrow." She hugs him, reaches up and kisses him softly on the lips. "Let's finish soon. I want to get some more rest, and you are going to be driving a lot, so you will need to rest as well."
He kisses her back. "Let's go then." He picks up the ice cube and tosses it in the sink. He goes towards the door.
She walked towards the door and went outside. She looked back at the cottage she called home. 'I will probably never see this place again. That is rather regretful, but it would be wiser to not return.' She turned her back, walked to the truck and got into the passenger's seat. She does up the seat belt a little bitterly.
Leo followed her out and just watches her. 'There is nothing I can do about this. I wish I could help her out of this situation.' He walks to the truck and gets in. He does up his seat belt and drives away from the cottage. He drives to the main road, "my Love, where do we go from here? I know this is upsetting for you. I'm sorry that I can't do more for you."
Kitty was looking somewhat pensive out the window. She looks over at him, "turn right, then take the first left. It's not your fault, Leo. You are doing a lot by getting myself, the baby and Cindy out of town. Thank you for your concern." She turns back to looking out the window. "Sorry, this is really hard for me. It's a good thing I came home when I did."
Leo followed her directions. "It's okay. There is no need to apologize. I can understand that this is your home. If I was forced to leave and know that I wouldn't be able to return, I would be heartbroken as well." He continues to drive straight.
"Take the next right, and the house will on the left tenth place in. You're so considerate. Thank you." She looks at him and smiles sadly. "At least I can save some of my people. So for that, you have my undying gratitude."
The biggest mistake you can make with a prank show is remove the 'real' element, which is the funniest thing.
