Aleksis would be marrying Nicolae next month, yet again, she was reminded of Alaric today. Her eyes looked down, not daring to look at Nicolae due to her guilt of thinking of another man in front of her future husband. Nicolae, who saw her getting awkward, immediately distracted the girl by kissing her hair.
"Hmm... My wife is very beautiful today." He then sat next to Aleksis as if nothing had happened. "So, let's split the job. I'll read the names, and you'll write them on the cards."
Aleksis smiled at Nicolae's understanding attitude and nodded. "Alright... But I'll be the one to read, and you'll be the one to write. Your handwriting is much better than mine."
"How come? I'm a doctor, you know... My handwriting is notoriously ugly." Nicolae scratched his head that didn't feel itchy at all. Aleksis shook her head and took a pen and a paper to prove that her writing was worse than Nicolae's.
The two looked at each other.

Missrealitybites I'm feeling happy today that I could finally sleep better. Since early January I was having severe insomnia and it honestly freaked me out. Last year around the same time I was having insomnia with mild depression and it was very scary... At one point I was actually thinking of ending my life... gosh!

Mental illness is not well acknowledged in Asia where I live, and it was difficult to even accept the fact that I needed help, but that scary thought was the last straw.. so I finally went to see doctor/psychiatrist to get help.

Contrary to my initial perception, the doctors were very professional and my fear of getting addicted to medication was unfounded. I got better and even started writing to channel my creativity. This novel was first written out of nowhere in Webnovel on February 18, 2019... when I was still mildly depressed. So.. it's almost a year now. Hooray!!

I got back to being myself by mid 2019, and I think now everything is OK. I freaked out when I got severe insomnia again a few weeks ago, but I'm now happy that it was just a harmless sleep disorder.

I sleep well (and dreamless) now. I'm so happy that I feel like giving you 4 chapters today. This is the first one.
