Capítulo 9: Chapter 9
RIIINNNNGGGGG!!! The bell to the lunch rang. "Hey, wake up!" Alec shook Noah until he woke up. "What..?" Noah grouched. "Time for lunch, we promised to meet up with Melody, remember?" Alec said. Noah nodded. "Ya, let's go." He stood up and began to walk away. "Why do you keep doing that?!" Alec said while lagging behind Noah. They both walked to the cafeteria together. "Hey! There's Melody!" Alec said running up to Melody not noticing Nicky behind her. "Hey!" Melody said. "Where's Noah?" she asked. "Oh, he's right-" Alec turned around to see Noah unknowingly walking away with his nose in a book. Alec sighed. "Noah!!" Alec ran over to him and pulled him towards Melody.
"He's right here."
"Hmm?" Noah looked up. "Oh, hey." He says noticing Nicky.
Melody looked away with a slight blush. "Hi."
There was a slight pause.
"Hey Melody, let's go get some food." Nicky said.
"Hm? Al-alright." The two girls got in line.
"When did she get here?!" Alec said confused and angry.
"Did you just now notice her? She's been here the whole time." Noah said while getting in line.
Alec followed him, "No! Well maybe…" he said embarrassed.
"Don't lie to yourself." Noah said while silently laughing.
The four of them got trays and sat down near the door. Noah was sitting across from Melody, who is sitting next to Nicky. "Excuse me!" Alec placed his tray in between Melody's and Nicky's. He squeezed his way thru the two girls and skooted towards Melody. Noah rolled his eyes and continued eating.
"Hey?!" Melody said confused, "what are you doing?"
"I'm sitting down, what does it look like?" Alec said in a cocky tone.
"It looks like your separating the two of them." Noah mumbled with noodles in his mouth.
"Pfftt!!? What?" Alec said quickly while stuffing his face with a strawberry, "am not!"
"Yeah you are" Nicky said standing up and moving to the other side of Melody.
"What the?! I am not. I just wanted to sit next to my little sis!" Alec spatt.
"Then you could have sat on the other side of her." Nicky barked.
The two began to argue back in fourth. With the two bickering Noah dumped his tray and walked out of the cafeteria seamlessly. He disappeared to the roof where it was quiet. Melody sat quietly eating while the two yelled at each other.
"Right Noah?!" Alec looked over to see him missing. "Um… Where did he go?!" Alec looked around in a panic.
"What? Wasn't he just right there?" Melody stood up in shock.
"Chill out guys, I'm sure he's fine." Nicky said unworried.
"You don't understand!" Alec said angrily, "If he's alone for to long he'll have an anxiety attack and won't be able to breath!"
