A warrior's alloy armor in the game was not just a pure metallic piece of armor. More precisely, it should be called "intelligent armor," as the armor parts contain intelligent chips that were similar to Individual Warframe on Earth.

This was the reason why warrior players far exceeded the other professions when it comes to melee combat.

Since the armor contained intelligent parts, the parts would have important structures embedded within them. Once those important parts were destroyed, the overall stats bonuses attached to the armor would be lost. These chips were generally located inside, further away from the outer layer, of the armor. It was incredibly difficult to cut or pierce through heavy armor. As such, when Grizzly Bear PKed against other players, he had never encountered such a situation before.

But right now, a Sniper whom he initially deemed weak had cut through his armor with one strike.
