Why the sun loves the moon

Once upon a time the moon and the sun were friends who played together every since their youth's. One day the sun confessed his love to the moon, overwhelmed, the moon asked for 24hrs to think about it. The moon had already knew her answer for she loved the stars, she didn't want to hurt the suns feelings so when the 24hrs were over, the sun ran looking for the moon, but with each step the sun took toward the moon, the moon took away from him with the stars. The sun never gave up, he chased the moon with every ounce of energy he had, but he was always 24 hrs ways from her and the other stars. The sun chased the moon, creating days and night for many millions of years, before the sun finally fell sick. On the day of the suns death, moon paid him a visit. When he saw her he said only one thing, "The sun will always love the moon, but the moon will always be just out of his reach". Moon felt her heart break. When a new sun was born moon stayed away from his light. She once again continued to run away from the sunlight, choosing to only live in the light that shine from her broken heart.
