Everyone paid close attention to the list of names of those who would be participating in the tournament that day, which included two of the seeded contestants that hadn't had to go through the preliminaries.

"All right! I'm in the first group, and I might get to fight that Pikkon guy!" Goku exclaimed excitedly, eager to test himself against new opponents.

"Humph! That just means you got less training in before having to compete!" Vegeta smirked as he saw he wasn't fighting until the last bracket, meaning he had an extra three days to prepare for the tournament.

He wasn't the only one though, as Beerus smirked as well while he told Whis, "Better hope Goku's training was enough to keep him from getting booted Whis."

"Ohohohohoho!" The Angel laughed in his characteristic way, before saying confidently, "I'm sure Goku-San will do just fine. I just hope that even with the next three days you'll have enough to to get Vegeta-San up to snuff!"

As he said that Whis casually drew a swirly symbol on Goku's gi, which made Beerus grit his teeth irritably even as he grabbed Vegeta and snapped,

"Let's go former Prince Vegeta, we have work to do!" No longer having a reason to stick around after confirming his place in the tournament, Vegeta nodded as he and Beerus both returned to the space within Kusu's scepter to resume his training.

The second they disappeared, and Goku left to prepare for his matches, Whis' confidence faltered as he uttered to Alex and his wives,

"Well.... I hope Goku-San will do well enough during this tournament. For some reason he wasn't able to ascend to the SSJ3 during the time we had...." The Angel then adopted an stance of thought as he tried to figure out what Goku was missing for the transformation, while Alex stated,

"Don't look at me. I only managed to make it after years of training, and even then it took my daughter being kidnapped for me to make the transformation." Whis was silent as he contemplated on that, but his thoughts were distracted when Rana entered the room, and waved her hand while declaring,

"Compliments of Mikan and Haruna. They thought everyone would want something to eat while we watched the matches." As she said that, numerous tables laden with freshly cooked food appeared from within her spatial ring, making everyone's mouths salivate at the aroma.

"Oh my! This food looks positively delicious!" Whis declared as the most savory scents he ever smelled assaulted his nose, while the food before him appeared as if prepared by the most masterful artists the universe had ever seen.

*SMACK!*

As he tried to reach for the food though, Kusu, Vados, and Marcarita all appeared in his way as the eldest sister hit his hand, each one showing a smile that didn't reach their eyes as Vados said to him,

"Sorry Whis, but this food is for family only. Good bye." Whis' eyes widened at his sister's declaration, making look towards the scrumptious food longingly as he declared,

"Are we not family big sister!?" Even as he tried to butter her up by referring to her as his big sister, Vados didn't budge as she simply waved her scepter, and instantly banished Whis from the VIP room, leaving only Alex and his women present.

As the drama was playing out between the Angel siblings, the announcer declared after giving everyone enough time to look over the lists of participants,

"ALRIGHT! NOW IT'S TIME FOR OUR FIRST MATCHUP OF THE DAY!"

As he said that the lists of participants changed to only show the sixteen that would be fighting that day, Bracket One, before he continued,

"NOW THEN! UNLIKE OTHER TOURNAMENT RULES IN WHICH THE CONTESTANTS ARE BROKEN UP INTO A LADDER AND KNOW WHO THEIR NEXT OPPONENT IS, THE RULES HERE ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT!

"OUT OF THE SIXTEEN NAMES WE HAVE UP THERE, TWO WILL BE RANDOMLY DECIDED FOR EACH ROUND UNTIL HALF OF OUR CONTESTANTS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED! THEN THE NEXT ROUND WILL CONTINUE UNDER THE SAME RULES, AND SO ON AND SO FORTH! BUUUUUUUUT, THATS NOT ALL!"

As the announcer trailed off, a second list showed up right next to the first, except this one had hundreds of options on it, all of which appeared to the names of different locations.

"UNLIKE THE JUNIOR CUP, WHICH WAS HELD RIGHT BEFORE OUR VERY EYES, EACH MATCH OF THE MAIN TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD IN A DIFFERENT ARENA AND ENVIRONMENT, WHICH WILL ALSO BE RANDOMLY SELECTED! AND WITH EACH ARENA COMES DIFFERENT POSSIBLE RULES, RESTRICTIONS, OR HAZARDS!"

To show his point, one of the possible arenas was then selected and depicted, showing them all a desolate icy tundra with thick snow falling in the biting cold winds. Another was then selected to show what appeared to be a multitude of miniature planets, except this one had additional text under it that stated no flying was allowed, meaning the contestants would have to fight while at the mercy of the different gravitational pulls around them.

After scrolling through a few more of the different types of arenas, like the volcanic region, the misty isles, and the Shadow Realm, the announcer declared,

"AND NOW, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LETS GET THE FIRST MATCH STARTED!!!"

Deafening cheers met the announcer's declaration that the first match was finally about to begin, while the names on the list began to light up and flash randomly at high speed. As the cheering slowly died down, so too did the flashing of lights on the list of names until two names were all that were lit up.

"AND OUR FIRST MATCH IS, KIMARI RONSO VS SUN WUKOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!"

The announcer cried out as the image of the two fighters were projected this time, showing Kimari with his lion-like features and long horn, as well as Sun Wukong with his monkey-like features as he smoked from a pipe.

"Good luck out there Kimari." Yuna told her former Guardian as he prepared to enter the arena, while Rikku patted him on the back as she added,

"We'll be cheering you on big guy!" The Ronso runt, who still towered over the two girls, nodded stoically as he said,

"Kimari will win. Bring honor to Grand Elder." Though they wanted to tell Kimari to just have fun, both girls knew he wouldn't listen. Even if this wasn't such a large scale tournament, Kimari treated every match he had with someone, outside of him teaching or testing them, as if it were life or death.

"Oh lighten up! You're much too tense for someone so young!" Declared a new voice, as a monkey-face middle aged man approached them.

"Kimari greets elder Wukong." Kimari said as he bowed slightly towards the elderly Youkai respectfully, as it was common knowledge throughout Asora that Wukong was Alex's teacher. While it didn't give him any actual authority within Asora, it did make him widely respected even amongst the people from other worlds.

As one would expect from Alex's teacher though, the elder Youkai just waved away Kimari's respect as he said,

"Save that nonsense for later. We've got a match to fight!" Nodding in agreement, Kimari walked out into the arena side-by-side with Wukong to the cheers of the crowds, who were excited to see the two of them fight.

Meanwhile both Yuna and Rikku hurriedly made their way back to Alex's VIP room to watch the fight, as they were sure to see things better from there since they weren't actually going to fight in the arena itself. When they entered the room itself, neither girl were surprised to find Alex and his attending wives naked as they relaxed on a massive sofa bed, taking full advantage of the children being in school at the moment.

"Did we miss anything?" Rikku asked, even as she quickly stripped down herself to join the group on the bed, to which Alex shook his head as he replied,

"Only that it was decided they were going to fight in the Snowy Ruins." Even as he said that, the duo disappeared from the middle of the arena, and the large window of the VIP room turned into a screen as it showed them the image of Kimari and Wukong facing each other down atop a mountain in the middle of a blizzard.

Surrounding them were numerous stone structures that appeared ancient, reminding the two girls of the ruins atop Mt Gagazet where Kimari was from. They weren't the only ones who appeared reminded of them though, as Kimari knelt and began uttering what appeared to be prayers in a respectful voice.

Even Wukong didn't say or do anything while Kimari performed his small ritual, until the Ronso stood once again. Then, at the same time, the duo summoned their respective weapons as they took their stances, Wukong his signature red staff with golden caps, and Kimari his Spirit Lance.

"FIGHTERS READY?!" The announcer cried out from his place in the colosseum, which the two contestants still heard him as they both issued a quick nod, before he cried out,

"FIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!"

"RAAAAAAAAAAA!" Kimari cried out as the match began, rushing forward at speeds that most of the viewers would have a hard time keeping up with without the projections.

Wukong however had no problem keeping up as he twirled his staff, and slammed it into the ground with enough force that the entire mountain top shook, making the ruins crumble, dislodging entire shelves of ice, and triggering numerous avalanches as he disrupted Kimari's charge.

"The old man's gotten stronger!" Alex exclaimed happily from seeing his teacher's show of strength, which he expected after he restored his youth for him. But even as Kimari struggled to retain his footing, he seemingly had no problem parrying each of Wukong's attacks with his Spirit Lance, even as the old monkey thrusted his staff at the Ronso with enough speed and power to put firearms to shame.

As Wukong came in close to him though, Kimari took advantage of their close proximity to open his mouth, and spew a cloud of grayish smoke that appeared to be mixed in with bits of stone that engulfed the entirety of Wukong's body.

When the cloud dispersed it showed a completely petrified Wukong that had been frozen in mid attack like a statue, which then began to crumble as it shattered and fell into a pile. Before anyone could celebrate Kimari's victory though, the pile of stone shimmered before vanishing to reveal a single strand of golden hair.

Kimari, who had maintained his guard despite his apparent victory, then spun around real quick as three more Wukong leapt from the snow around him, surrounding the Ronso as they all began to shower him with attacks.

"AND SUDDEN UPSET LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, AS VICTORY IS SNATCHED FROM KIMARI'S GRASP, AND HE IS PUT ON THE DEFENSIVE!"

The announcer cried out as he too struggled to keep up with Kimari and Wukong's movements, while Anne and Azazel took turns explaining the specifics of the different abilities that Kimari and Wukong were using. However, Azazel also made sure to note that Wukong had literally hundreds of tricks up his sleeves that he hadn't used yet. They may not have been useful when he fought Alex, but were sure to make an appearance during this tournament.

Wukong wasn't the only one though, as Kimari suddenly shouted when the Monkey King and his two clones started to corner him at the edge of a cliff,

"LANCET!"

All three of the Wukong suddenly felt their stamina drain as their energy flowed into Kimari, who felt his own stamina return to how it was at the beginning of the match, though the bruises and other injuries he'd sustained during the match were still present due to the restriction on healing abilities. Along with the energy though, Kimari felt knowledge and a newfound power fill him, as he then proceeded to grab a fistful of his own fur, and rip it out before tossing it into the swirling wind.

With a flash, each individual strand of fur suddenly transformed so that there were more than a dozen Ronso surrounding the three Wukong, but it didn't stop there. Following the lead of the main body, each Kimari began to transform as scales formed alongside their fur, their tails thickened, and reptilian wings sprouted from their backs.

"How interesting..." Wukong uttered as he watched the entire thing take place, analyzing every moment of it.

He had of course heard about the Ronso ability to learn certain techniques from their enemies mid-battle through the skill Lancet, but this was his first time seeing it up close. Unfortunately they didn't have all day to play around, so Wukong decided to finish the battle up before it dragged on too long.

As the twelve Kimari launched themselves at the three of him simultaneously, Wukong dispelled his two copies and leapt up into the air as he prepared his staff, the Ruyi Jingu Bang.

"Enlarge Ruyi!" He cried out, making the staff in his hands grow in size until it was as big around as the colosseum itself, before he kicked it down at Kimari and his clones. Let alone the Ronso and his clones, Wukong's staff flattened the entire mountain peak as it came crashing down

"""GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"""

All of the Kimari cried out as they futility tried to halt the advance of the Ruyi Jingu Bang, only to be crushed underneath as it crashed into the mountain beneath them.

"THIS COULD BE IT FOLKS!" The announcer cried out as Kimari disappeared from view, with everyone holding their breaths to see if the Ronso would make a comeback.

But as Wukong reverted his staff to its original size, they all saw that the entire mountaintop had been flattened, in which Kimari laying in the compacted snow while not moving.

"ONE!" The announcer cried out as he began the countdown to determine the winner. If Kimari did not stand on his feet by the time he reached the number three, then it would be Wukong's victory.

"TWO!" The announcer cried out the second number as everyone watched with bated breaths to see if Kimari would stand, even as he began to stir slightly.

"THREE!" The final number echoed throughout the universe, signaling Kimari's loss as the announcer declared,

"WUKONG WINS!"

Deafening cheers answered his declaration, while Wukong himself puffed his chest out proudly, before walking over to Kimari and helping the beaten Ronso stand.

"It was a good match Elder Kimari." Wukong stated, using Kimari's official title within the Ronso. His opponent however didn't appear pleased with the compliment, as he stated in frustration,

"Kimari lost..... Kimari not fit to be Elder..." Wukong just rolled his eyes at his overly serious opponent, and said to him,

"Chin up! Instead of acting as if the world ended because you lost, learn from this loss and do better for the next time." Clapping him on the back as he said so, Kimari thought on Wukong's advice before saying,

"Elder Wukong wise. Kimari will listen to elder Wukong and prepare for next match." Smiling wryly at Kimari's overly serious attitude, Wukong just shook his head lightly as the duo were transported back to the arena, where the thunder of applause met them.

As the loser, Kimari just hung his head as he headed out of the arena, while Wukong stuck around for a brief second, before following suit. Meanwhile, in one of the tunnels leading to the arena, a group of individuals that had been watching the match were discussing what they thought, while one of them in particular snorted as he watched the crowds.

"Humph. This is supposed to be a serious competition, not a circus for us to entertain the spectators!" Piccolo stated irritably, while Krillin and Tien nodded in agreement next to him.

"I don't know, the attention seems kinda nice." Said one human, Yamcha, who was waving at a group of lovely young ladies that were looking right at them.

"Says the guy who didn't even get past the preliminaries." Tien said as he snorted at Yamcha's behavior, while the girls he had been waving at appeared confused and disinterested at his attention.

"Y-you didn't have to bring that up..." Yamcha uttered dejectedly, recalling when he'd gone up against one of those Saiyan girls, Caulifla, and gotten completely and utterly crushed by her.

"Though it is a little showy, it's for a good reason." Someone suddenly said as they approached the group from behind, drawing their attention to an elderly man who appeared to be the spitting image of Master Roshi before he had his youth restored. Possessing exactly the same figure, posture, and facial hair, the man could very well be Goku and Krillin's first master, except Roshi now looked just as young as they were, and this man had a full head of silver hair compared to Master Roshi's baldness.

"Jackie Chun! I can't wait to face you again in the arena!" Goku exclaimed as he recognized the old man who beat him in his first tournament all those years ago.

"We meet again young one! All grown up now with all new friends I see!" Jackie Chun said as he ran his gaze over Goku and his friends, a small twinkle appearing in his eye when he saw Tien.

"You're still around old geezer? I thought you would've kicked the bucket by now." Krillin said when he saw Jackie Chun, having also lost to him before.

As the group talked to their old acquaintance though, Piccolo narrowed his eyes as he commented,

"Are you all blind? That is clearly your master Roshi." Every eye in the group was drawn to Piccolo at his comment, before Yamcha spoke up as he said,

"I thought so too Piccolo, but it really isn't Master Roshi." Jackie Chun nodded at Yamcha's words as if to say 'that's right', but then he continued, "Besides, if nothing else, Roshi isn't a dried up old man anymore."

Tien smirked when he heard that, while Jackie Chun appeared outraged at the comment before Goku added,

"That's true.... But man is it weird seeing Master Roshi look so young since he's never changed how he looked ever since I met him..." Recalling how Master Roshi never seemed to age, no matter how many years went by, everyone agreed that it was weird to see him suddenly being as young as them.

"Humph!" Jackie Chun snorted at their rude comments and said irritably, "Instead of insulting your master in such a way, you ingrates should be singing him praises and bringing him beautiful women as thanks for everything he's done for you!"

The group looked at Jackie Chun weirdly when he said that, even as his expression morphed into that of a pervert as he thought about the beautiful women.

"I forgot he was a giant pervert like Master Roshi too..." Goku whispered to Krillin and Yamcha, as the trio recalled the former using panties to distract him during their match.

Even though they were saying and thinking even more rude things about him, Jackie Chun, aka Master Roshi, didn't notice as he recalled all the beautiful women participating in this tournament.

Having asked Alex for an artifact to disguise himself since just gluing a wig on wouldn't suffice this time, Roshi entered the tournament to see for himself how his newly youthful body held up against some of these whipper-snappers. But there was also the added bonus of participating, being that if he got paired up against a girl, then he could grope and feel her up all he wanted while saying it was just an 'accident'.

Was that his hand on her butt? He tripped and fell!

His hand grabbed her boob? It was an attack!

He accidentally planted his face in her boobs? Sorry, he was an old man!

So many different scenarios played out in Roshi's mind as he awaited the announcement of the next pair to fight, all of which would be 'accidents' of course, so the girls and their lover(Alex) wouldn't have any reason to be mad.

It was foolproof!

Now, all Roshi had to do was wait until he got paired up against a woman, of which there were, regrettably, only three of in their bracket. No matter though wether it was Kokoa, Rana, or Caulifla, all three were beautiful and worth a grope here or there if he got paired up against them.

"AND NOW FOR OUR NEXT TO CONTESTANTS!"

The announcer cried out, alerting everyone that the next match was about to begin. And as he said that the names on the projection began to flash once again, except for Kimari and Wukong's, until they came to a stop on the next two contestants of the day.

"LETS GIVE IT UP LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, FOR JACKIE CHUN AND MIL-TAAAAAAAAAN!!!"
