Her treasure chest was left open. Something glinted inside. She made a puzzled look. She let Dylan hold the pens as she scooped out something that wasn't enclosed in a glass circle inside her little pocket-drawer.
"You still have more?" Dylan asked.
She looked at it in her hand and smiled when she saw what it was. "I think it's something that's yours." Dylan made a puzzled look. Luna grinned as she revealed to him a white piece that looks like a chalk. Dylan lit up.
"My piano key!" he exclaimed. Luna gave it to him but he didn't take it. "Go ahead, you may place it on the blank space you caused earlier." He gave her the chance to fix the keyboard she was so worried about earlier. She lit up.
Luna inserted the tile in between the keys. It fitted perfectly. She pressed it and it released a wonderful tone.
"Yes! Now my song's complete!" he was so happy he hugged her tightly. "Thank you Luna! You're all I needed all these time. Thank you for making my gift complete."
Luna chuckled in his embrace and wrap her arms around him too. "It's all thanks to you saving me and opening up my heart."
They swayed lightly, holding on to each other for a while longer. Their extreme happiness just can't be express through words. They released each other and smiled brightly.
"I have an idea," Dylan said.
"What? What?" Luna asked excitedly.
"What if we perform together in the Season of Talents night?"
Luna's eyes sparkled. "Yes, let's do that!" And then her brows furrowed. "But how are we going to do that?"
Dylan chuckled. "It's easy. I'll play the piano while you sing. You can also test your music skills by creating lyrics for the melody I composed." He smiled.
"That's right! Why haven't I thought of that?" She bumped a fist on her forehead. "You're really amazing Dylan. You can play your gift skillfully and you know a lot. You're very kind-hearted too," she beamed.
Dylan blushed and lowered his head. He sighed, trying to hide his smile. "There you go again, praising me too much."
"But it's true anyway," she said, matter-of-factly, swinging her hanging feet and pursing her lips.
Dylan suddenly kissed her cheek.
She touched her cheek and turned to him blushing with a surprised look.
"That's my 'Thank You' for all the good things you've said." He smiled.
"Should I give you one too for saving me?" She reached out her hands and cupped his face. "Or maybe two." She looked at both his cheeks. "One for saving me from Kariza and one for the key." Then she recounted again. "Oh wait, it's three. Another one for saving me from the spider." Then she counted again while pointing with her lips where she'll plant her kisses. After that Dylan stared in horror as she starts to lean closer. He was wide-eyed and blushing hard.
