Capítulo 13: Tian Yue Planet
Meng Hao watched the Dao Mark carefully and on it was something never before seen it depicted Hell at the bottom, Earth, Skies, and Heaven at the top, but above the heavens was a person standing over everything. Meng Hao named this shocking new Dao "The Ruler of Dao's." This new Dao represented the ability to control all Daos, even the most obscure Daos can be controlled by this Dao Mark. As long as he took the time to comprehend the essence of something to the level of a Dao, it would be added to his Dao Mark.
'The Ruler of Dao' Mark would increase his rate of comprehension and cultivation exponentially, and some might say it is a little too much, but the thing is triggering the Defiant Tribulation was difficult much less defeating it with his little cultivation. If anyone could defeat the tribulation then everyone would have a Dao Mark, the reason it is so overpowered is that it is very exclusive to those who have the willpower to survive a tribulation of that proportion.
The Dao Mark seemed to like its new name and it flew onto the chest of Meng Hao giving him a refresh of energy that was truly needed after his near-death fight with the Defiant Tribulation. After the Dao Mark was fully imprinted on Meng Hao's chest for a few seconds a final light blasted into the sky and it seemed like the light went as far as the black empty space above.
Finally, everything calmed down. Although there were still some leftover fires in the sect and Meng Hao's peak was completely annihilated, the new calm breeze drifted in replacing the hot air that started to move up into the atmosphere.
The old man floated over towards Meng Hao who was standing still quietly and he said: "This is quite the show you put on Disciple Meng Hao, the light will probably attract quite a few
The old man put an emphasis on 'Disciple' and Meng Hao understood that this old man wanted him to stay in this sect. Meng Hao bowed and asked "Hello Senior, may I know your name."
The Old Man laughed "No need for too many formalities, just call me Elder Ning, I am the 1st Protector of the Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect, the sect you are in is just a branch of the sect of the main Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect."
Meng Hao looked up, it seemed that this elder knows of the other sects and opportunities on Tian Yue Planet, the planet Meng Hao was currently on. Although the memories of the Legendary Cultivator's had a lot of knowledge, they were all born in higher realms so he had no knowledge about the lower realm he lives in now, Meng Hao only knew some knowledge that everyone would learn when they were young. The sect is within the lands of the Great Wu State, and the Great Wu State is within the lands of the Eastern Sea Continent. Within the Eastern Sea Continent is the Great Wu State, Crimson War Empire, Qin Dynasty, and the Misty Peak Empire.
There are 4 Continents on the planet the Eastern Sea Continent, the Northern Ice Continent, the Western Martialist Continent, and the Southern Blood Sea Continent. Other than this Meng Hao doesn't have much information about the other 3 Continents, he only knows that the Eastern Sea Continent that he lives in has many powerful experts so other continents don't dare to attack randomly. He also knows that the Eastern Sea Continent and the Western Martialist Continent were allies against the Noterhen Ice Continent and the Southern Blood Sea Contents which were war-mongering continents with not much law or order established.
Meng Hao asked Elder Ning "Are there many opportunities in the Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect, with an arrogant name like that you must have some benefits to join you."
Elder Ning started to sweat, this kid invoked the Defiant Tribulation and not only did he survive he gained a talent only heard in legends. Right now his one and only job are to make sure that Meng Hao was recruited into the sect no matter what, if he lost Meng Hao then it would be his biggest regret.
Right now Elder Ning could feel an aura around Meng Hao that wasn't there before, he previously saw the word 'Dao' in the sky and he also saw it transform and fly towards Meng Hao. Elder Ning's eyes were very refined and so he saw many changes like how Qi was actually flowing around Meng Hao, and on the contrary how Qi usually flowed randomly even when a cultivator was there.
Elder Ning nodded his head "This branch sect doesn't even have a star rank but the Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect is a 1 Star sect. There are only 5 other 1 Star sects on the Eastern Sea Continent. The Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect and the 9 Emperor Sect is in the Great Wu State. The Blood Frenzied Sect is in the Crimson War Empire, the Misty Emperess Sect in the Misty Peak Empire, and the Heng Yue Sect in the Qin Dynasty. Our Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect is a sect that the other four 1 Star Sects don't dare to provoke because as Alchemists our pride is known throughout the entire planet of Tian Yue. We supply pills to each of the 1 Star Sects and if one sect loses our support another sect can easily destroy them since one sect will get a constant supply of pills while the other will have no one to supply them. Our sect has thousands of years of history so of course, we also have many opportunities like the Yunqi Secret Realm that is about to open in a month. The most important part of this secret realm is the Essense Marks spread across the realm that helps people comprehend the essence of Earth. With the pills and support from our sect, your power will guide our sect to the status of a 2 Star Sect!"
Meng Hao shook his head, he was not about to waste his time in this sect to raise its status. He only cared about raising his cultivation. One thing that really piqued his interest was the Yunqi Secret Realm, right now he needed to comprehend the Dao and start to lay out his Dao Foundations for when he enters the Celestial Realms. There was also a high chance that some herbs and other resources at this sect that could help him increase his cultivation faster. The other thing is that the sect will give him a status which is something he needed if he wanted an easier path for cultivation. But then again he would have to worry about actually helping the sect which would interfere with his cultivation.
Meng Hao thought of these variables and listed his demands "Allow me to be a Guest Elder at the sect and I will join. As you said once my cultivation increases my value will skyrocket but being a disciple will bind me too much due to Sect responsibilities causing my cultivation to stagnate. So if you let me become a Guest Elder where I can have some freedom, I will join directly. My second demand is that you give me a lot of whatever merit point system you use."
Elder Ning looked down in thought if he should accept the offer, but suddenly a bunch of explosions sounded across the sky. Many experts young and old appeared above the Verdant Alchemy Branch Sect, many of their cultivation made even Elder Ning dread.
One of these experts shouted, "WHERE IS THE TREASURE THAT CAUSED THE LIGHT!!!"

SolitaryDemons I messed up the streak of uploading a chapter every day. But I was pissed yesterday.
I was watching the Super Bowl 53(Patriots VS Rams) with my friends, and the Patriots won again for the 6th time. I was so pissed I didn't feel like writing a chapter.
I am probably talking in another language for those who don't live in the US, sorry.
