Chapter 9: A Second Encounter

{Ruby's POV}

I walk inside the house to see Raven and Yang eating in the dining room, instead of saying hello I walk upstairs to my room.

Raven: "Wait come here."

I listen and go to her while trying to hold back my tears.

Raven: "I'm happy your home in one pie- whoa what is that on your forehead?"

She must mean the horn I got from the odd blue girl. I touch my forehead only to feel pain because of the horn scratching my finger, it's definitely sharp.

Ruby: "I didn't notice it until now, I thought I would feel it grow but I didn't. I have this because a nice individual restored my memories, it's temporary so eventually it will disappear."

Yang: "It looks pretty"

Ruby: "Thanks I guess"

Yang: "Mom I finished eating."

Raven: "Good put your plate on the sink, I'll wash it in a few minutes."

Yang nods then went to the kitchen bringing her plate along with her. I turn around and walk to the stairs again but before I could continue walking Raven grabs my arm.

Raven: "What's wrong?"

Ruby: "What do you mean?

Raven: "I know something is bothering you, tell me what's wrong?"

Ruby: "Raven I'm fine don't worry."

She scoffs then stood silent for a moment, I try to walk away but she grabs my arm again and pulled me closer toward her. She wrapped her arms around me and locked me in an embrace, "you suck at lying, those tears on your face tell a different story." I touch my face feeling the tears I did not notice racing down my cheekbones, I'm terrible at hiding my feelings.

Ruby: "Wow I..."

More tears begin dripping down my face, "Ever since I came to Remnant I wanted answers about what I am, how my parents were... what my past was like. I finally remember it all and now I wish I didn't remember. I hate this, why-" I try to speak more but no words would come out. Raven gently strokes my hair and kisses my head,

Raven: "it's okay I'm here. Just slowly breath in and out."

I do as she suggested about three times, I still felt a bit stressed and worked up on the inside.

Raven: "Just by you thinking about it I can tell it's a hard topic to talk about. So instead of conversing about your memories you can just go to your room and rest."

I nod, she broke away from the hug then wipes away my tears. She then picked up her plate and walked to the kitchen.

?: "What will you do now?"

A voice spoke to me, it sounds exactly like me, I turn around to see an astral entity that shared my looks. She even has the same Yin mark on her chest.

Ruby: "Who are you?"

Astral Ruby: "I am you."

Ruby: "I figured that much but how."

Astral Ruby: "I am the mark that has been passed down to you. I manifested in your image to speak with you."

Ruby: "Oh that's nice, what do you want?"

Astral Ruby: "For you to answer the question I asked you before."

Ruby: "Oh that... I want forget."

Astral Ruby: "You wish to forget your past?"

I nod, she sighs in disappointment. Time slowed and suddenly the scenery changed, I was no longer home with Raven and Yang. I'm in the garden in front of the Kamiya Manor where it all happened. In a serious tone I tell my astral lookalike to return me home to Raven, immediately she declines then disappeared. Why the hell is she making me see this, is this some kind of punishment or is this because I want to kill my yang partner to get revenge for what she did to me, fuck this! I yell and release my energy in an attempt to destroy this illusionary world. Nothing was damaged, I shoot lightning out from my hands at the sky, the buildings, and my former home but nothing would get destroyed.

Ruby: "Get me the fuck out of here!"

No response from my astral lookalike, in anger I strike the gate of the garden, "I just want to be left alone..." Suddenly an explosion went off inside the manor, I turn my attention there to see two figures were fighting, it was Elijah and the alien leader that led the assault on Ciro. Someone emerges from the rubble near my mother's damaged statue, it was my mother Amira. Another figure jumps out from the Manor attempting to strike mom, I dash in and appear in front of her to block the attack but the figure literally went through me like I'm some sort of ghost. I turn around to see that mom and the figure clash,

Amira: "Please snap out it Emilia they're controlling you."

Emilia: "Controlling me? Nonsense I have never felt more like myself than I do now."

I remember this, me and Mom were fighting Emilia. We fought hard to bring her back to normal but she never returned to her usual self. The rubble around them begins to rise up, the ground cracking at the force of their clash,

Amira: "That's a lie I refuse to believe you have turned against us!"

The force of their clash combusts sending mom flying into the air. Lightning struck her sending her back to the ground crashing near the statue, light blue fireballs rain down at her the second she gets up. She uses a barrier to shield herself from the attack, Emilia warps in front of mom then strikes her with a volley of flame imbued punches. The barrier broke after a number of strikes, Emilia grabs her by the neck, levitates up near the statue then slams her right through it.

Emilia: "You're weak Amira, this fight is pointless, your struggle to survive is pointless."

Emilia walks to the heavily injured Amira, grasping her tattered top pulling her up close.

Emilia: "There is no salvation for humanity, there is nothing you can do to prevent the extinction of mankind."

Emilia's fists begin to glow and ignite with power I'm unfamiliar with, "I did not want to do this Amira but I can't fight the urge anymore, it makes me feel whole."

Amira: "Please.. snap out of it sweetie."

Emilia begins punching mom with a volley of flame ignited punches. With each punch embers scatter into the air, the ground cracks all around at the force of each strike hitting Amira. The alien leader crashes down hitting Emilia stopping her from striking mom.

Elijah: "Lady Amira are you okay?"

Elijah helps mom stand up, she shakes her head to reply to his question. Emilia and the blue alien get up and float toward them.

Emilia: "I can't believe you're having trouble fighting Elijah."

¿?: "私は彼を過小評価した."

Emilia: "I can see that, next time don't toy with him."

¿?: "彼の力はこの世のものではありません."

Emilia: "Then let's switch, I'll deal with Elijah while yo-"

She was interrupted by another crash landing of two figures, it was me defeating the big deformed alien that broke through our city's barrier.

Ruby: "Goddamn these aliens are strong, somehow I managed to beat this disgusting deformity."

I turn around to look at Emilia beside the blue alien.

Ruby: "Emilia, why are you side by side with the leader?"

Amira: "That's not your sister Ruby, that alien has her under some kind of mind control."

Ruby: "Seriously? As if we didn't have enough to worry about."

Amira: "Compose yourself, don't let your guard down even for a second. I have a plan but it's going to be risky. "

The land began to quake because of mom releasing her energy, letting it rise to a level beyond what she is used to. Dark shaded lightning is oozing out of her eyes and body.

Elijah: "Lady Amira is using her hyperdrive, we'll only have one shot at this. Ruby on my signal use your psychokinetic power on your sister."

Ruby nods then got into a defensive stance. Emilia sighs, the blue alien girl grabs Emilia's face then pulled her close enough to plant a kiss on her lips. This is absolutely gross I didn't want to see this again, it's bad enough I already remember it now I have to see it again. This is torture... The two broke away the kiss,

¿?: "これらの弱い生き物を殺す"

Emilia nods in response to whatever she said, the alien vanishes leaving us with Emilia to fight. At the time I thought that gave us the advantage but it didn't, her power kept rising to unforseen levels. She must have been powered up after the alien kissed her.

Elijah: "Get ready!"

In the blink of an eye both mom and Emilia clash making the land quake. They attack one another trading blows, the force of each attack pushed me and Elijah inside the manor. Mom imbues her fist with black lightning then strikes Emilia with it which pierces through her barrier. Mom grabs her forehead then slams her to the ground with enough force to create a deep crater. Mom creates an orb emitting lightning and holds it up close to Emilia's face.

Amira: "You have to break out of her control, I don't want to kill you Emilia please."

Emilia: ...

Emilia tries to hit the orb away but before she could reach it mom launches it at her and flew away instantly appearing above ground. The lightning orb unleashes a devastating explosion, it was so fierce the land began to disintegrate causing us to resort to hovering so we would not fall. Now the hole is much more wide and deeper then before. My past self looked completely amazed by mother's power,

Ruby: "Holy crap mom is insanely strong!"

Elijah: "I guess the battle is over, looks like we didn't need to help your mom after all."

Mother's hyperdrive form fades away then she went to where Ruby and Elijah are.

Amira: "She's definitely unconscious after that."

Elijah: "Lady Amira are you okay?"

Amira: "Mentally no and physically my body is in so much pain."

Elijah: "Let me heal you then"

Amira: "No save your energy, the battle may be over but we are not out of the woods yet. This city isn't safe so long as the barrier stays destroyed."

Ruby: "And without dad here there is no way to repair it."

Elijah: "So then what should we do? We obviously can't stay here in Ciro anymore, that would be suicide."

Amira: "I have an old hideout we can head to in the US, it's located in a suburban town in New York."

Ruby: "Wasn't the US the first to be decimated by the aliens?"

Amira: "Yes but trust me we'll be safe there."

I nodded, the trio then descends down to Emilia's location, I follow them.

Amira: "Ruby when we find your sister I need you to use your psychic powers to keep her unconscious until we get to New York, do you think you can do that?"

I nod, "are you sure, we will not be able to fly there and it's a six day journey."

Ruby: "Yes mom I'm sure, while I'm at it I'll enter her mind and find a way to release her from the blue alien's control."

Amira: "Okay but don't push yourself too hard, if you can't bring her back to normal then we'll find another way."

Elijah: "Hush I hear something."

Both mom and I stood quiet for a few seconds, what we heard was chains.

Ruby: "What the hell?"

Mom snapped her fingers to ignite a bright flame. The chains we heard from below became visible, the rushing chains were ascending very fast toward us. Elijah shoves me out of the way and the chains wrap around him yanking him down immediately.

Ruby: "Elijah!"

Amira: "Ruby ready your weapon now we're going down there."

I nod and we rush down to the bottom. When we got to the bottom we saw Elijah's body covered in blood with a hole on his chest, his heart is missing. I covered my mouth at the sight of his corpse to prevent myself from vomiting.

Amira: "Ruby steel your heart and keep your guard up there is someone here."

Emilia: "How right you are Amira."

Mother and I turn around, Emilia hits mom sending her flying very high up out of the hole. She grabs my neck then slams me against the wall, "it's unfortunate you were born under a weakling like Amira. If you were my blood sister then maybe you would have been blessed with power like mine."

Ruby: "What the hell are you talking about?

Emilia: "Mom and Dad never told you did they, interesting."

Emilia grows a sinister smile on her face, "Let's go for a ride." She launches upward at high speed dragging Ruby along the wall. When they got to top of the huge hole Emilia threw Ruby in front of the garden gate then steps on her chest causing her to moan in pain.

Ruby: "Please stop this and wake the hell up, this isn't you sis."

Emilia: "Shut up"

Emilia kicks Ruby launching her through the gate and into town rolling down the hill. She detached an iron bar from the destroyed gate and hovers down toward Ruby.

Emilia: "Since your death is inevitable I'll do you this small kindness and tell you the truth."

Ruby: "I could care less about what mom and dad hid from me. I just wa-"

She was interrupted by Emilia using an iron bar to impale her abdomen. Ruby screams in pain as Emilia intensifies it by driving the pole deeper into her abdomen to the point where it pierces through the last layer of skin, extending beyond her lower back covered in blood.

Emilia: "Amira never gave birth to me, I was never part of the Kamiya bloodline to begin with. You see, her husband found me in a small town in New York and... well long story short they were the ones who adopted me and gave me a home until the alien invasion happened. I always knew those two were not my blood parents, when the aliens invaded this planet I saw it as an opportunity to get some answers, and that's exactly what I got from them."

I was very surprised when she told me that but I didn't care, I just wanted my sister back.

Emilia: "Now you can die knowing the truth."

She places her hand on Ruby's chest, "this is goodbye Ruby." Just as she was about to impale her chest a stone spear comes hurdling toward Emilia.

Emilia: "This is getting annoying"

She kicks the sword up preventing it from hitting the ground. Mom comes speeding down the hill, "Don't you dare hurt her anymore!" Emilia sighs in irritation, mom strikes her with powerful lightning imbued punch but Emilia simply blocks it by catching her fist. She pulls her in close and grabbed her neck,

Emilia: "Since you're so eager to die I'll kill you first."

Ruby shoots up and tackles Emilia to stop her. Going through multiple buildings they crash land in the slums of Ciro,

Ruby: "I finally got you."

Emilia: "Get the hell off me!"

Ruby's eyes began emitting yellow light which Emilia was rendered paralyzed by. She then moved Emilia's head close enough to have both of their forehead's meet, after making contact their eyes began a radiant yellow glow.

Astral Ruby: "Despite hearing the truth about what your parents hid you still chose to enter her mind to try and save her."

I turn around to see my astral lookalike.

Ruby: "What is the point in all of this, why the hell are you showing me what I already remember?"

Astral Ruby: "Do you not remember the world you saw in your sister's mind?"

Ruby: "Yes I do, what I saw was a world devoid of life, frozen in time, crystallized and desolate."

Astral Ruby: "If I'm not mistaken you went about roaming that world of hers to try and save her. When you did find her she was alone and different."

Ruby: "When I found her she was in front of a weird looking portal. When I called out to her the blue alien would appear and shield her. I prepare to attack the alien to save her but it pierced through my chest with one of it's tentacles each time I tried."

Astral Ruby: "It killed you and drove you out of her mind to protect her. With a limited number of tries each produced the same result, her protecting Emilia like a mother would her baby."

Ruby: "Look I'm not interested in whatever point you are trying to make, I just want to be home in my room left alone."

Astral Ruby: "I'm trying to help you Ruby."

Ruby: "I don't need your goddamn help now get me the hell out of here!"

A brief silence enters the area, my astral lookalike sighs.

Astral Ruby: "Very well then, I will return you home. But be forewarned, the path you are choosing is one filled with hatred and despair. If you do not change then the balance of the multiverse will be affected."

She snapped her fingers and I was back home in Vale. Time was moving at a normal pace again. I went upstairs to my room then closed my door shut, I sit down and grasp my chest. Tears start racing down my face again, "I didn't want to revisit my past you stupid yin mark."

{Yuzu's POV}

Sakura: "What has got you in deep thought, you worried about little Raven?"

Yuzu: "No she's fast asleep and breathing normally. It's this mute kid I met a few hours ago."

Sakura: "Oh the girl with the heterochromic eyes, if you're looking for her she's in the kitchen scavenging for ice cream."

Yuzu: "No dummy I'm not looking for her.. it's what she told me, or in her case what she texted me."

Sakura: "Oh well whatever it is just forget about it and relax we can deal with her situation tomorrow."

I wish I could do that but I have to keep an eye on Neo, she did come here with intent to kill.

Yuzu: "I'll relax after I confirm something with Ms. Kahn."

Sakura: "Okay then I'll be with Raven if you need anything."

I nod and begin to look for Sienna while Sakura goes to Raven. I went in the living room but did not see her there, instead I saw Tenma and Erza conversating.

Tenma: "Oh hey Yuzu what's up?"

Yuzu: "Hey Tenma, I'm looking for Ms. Kahn have you seen her?"

Tenma: "I think she said she was going to rest up in her bedroom."

Yuzu: "Oh okay thanks"

I walk upstairs and head to Sienna's room. I get to her door but just as I was about knock I heard a loud noise, like someone broke through a wall, coming from downstairs. I rush down to see what happened, I get to the living room and see Sakura heavily injured. I turn my attention toward my left, I see Raven levitating with dark blue light oozing out of her eyes.

Yuzu: "No... Not again this can't happen now."

Erza: "Are you okay Sakura?!"

Sakura: "Give me a second.."

Yuzu: "Tenma we have to get Raven out of Menagerie now or it won't be a place on the map anymore."

Tenma: "I know but I still don't have enough magic power to use spatial magic."

Crap this is bad, I guess now is a good time to use the seal I branded her with. I look at Raven's dark blue eyes and see tears dripping down her face, I need to stop this. I infuse magic into my right hand then face it toward her, she holds her head in pain yelling. A beam of light comes racing at high speed toward me, I couldn't react in time. Sakura jumps in front of me and blocked the attack but it sent us flying out of the building. I get up quickly and check on her, "What the hell were you thinking you were already heavily injured!"

Sakura: "My injury healed up in time for me to shield you."

Yuzu: "What that's impossi- forget it no time to be surprised, let's go."

Erza and Tenma come crashing down next to me and Sakura.

Sakura: "Or we could stay here and prepare."

Yuzu: "Yeah good call... wait no Ms. Kahn is still in there we need to help her."

Erza gets up and materialized gauntlets on her forearms, "That definitely isn't the goddess we spoke to before, something is not right."

In the distance I see Raven attacking Ms. Kahn, "Sakura give me a boost." I jump up, she spin kicked my feet and launches me toward the two. Raven nearly hit Ms. Kahn with the same beam of light that sent me flying but I block it just in time by grabbing her arm. I throw her towards Tenma and the others then throw a large fireball at her which immediately exploded on impact, sending her flying passed everyone landing near a cargo ship. I turn my attention toward Ms. Kahn, "are you okay?"

Sienna: "I'll be fine, mind telling me what the hell is going on here?"

Yuzu: "Sorry no time for that, stay here and do not interfere."

I rush back to the others, Raven reappears behind Tenma, I get there just in time to grab Raven's arm to prevent her from attacking. A black halo appears on her head, I toss her away from the trio, "We can't let anyone become collateral damage from this battle."

Tenma: "Then we have to lure her away from here, this place is crowded with faunus."

Raven holds her head and moans in pain, her energy spirals out of control and destroys many of the food stalls within the area. Thankfully Tenma protected everyone from the rampaging energy with a barrier.

Sakura: "Let's bring her to the ocean, I'll lure her using my new weapon."

Sakura materialized a rose pink scythe and prepared to engage Raven in combat.

Yuzu: "Good idea, Erza come with me."

Both of us fly up and head toward the ocean. From a distance I hear the fight rage on, embers and white light emit and fill the sky with a fierce aura.

Erza: "Please tell me you have a way to stop this."

Yuzu: "I do, that's the reason you are with me. I need to channel your magic power to materialize a key that can activate the seal I branded her with years ago."

Erza: "Will that bring her back to normal?"

Yuzu: "It has once before, we have to be quick though."

Here should be far enough, I descend and get close to the water. I raise my magic power as high as it can go and freeze the ocean to give us a wide area of land to stand on.

Erza: "Did you freeze the entire ocean?"

Yuzu: "No just most of it, let's begin."

She put her hand on my back, "right." I raise my magic power again while channeling Erza's energy. In the distance I see Sakura striking Raven with a number of powerful attacks, she's keeping the pressure on while pushing her toward me and Erza.

Erza: "They're here sooner then expected, are you done?"

A spectral sword materializes in my hand, "yep thanks for the help."

Erza: "If this does not work you know what we have to do."

Yuzu: "Don't worry, I have a plan b if the seal doesn't work, let's go."

Using the ice we skate over to Raven and Sakura, "I will immobilize her, watch my six." I nod, she sped up and went ahead of me while I stop and ready myself. Raven broke away from the barrage of attacks Sakura was unleashing on her, in that moment Erza hit the floor making many thick pieces of ice fly up, manipulating and launching them toward Raven. She successfully defends herself against the attack but was met with another barrage of strikes from both Sakura and Erza. Now being pressured by both of them all she can do is evade.

I sense Tenma's energy moving closer, "mom can you hear me?"

Tenma: "Loud and clear, what's up?"

Yuzu: "I need you to create a large barrier locking the five of us inside, after that use the divine chains you have to immobilize Raven."

Tenma: "Okay, stay safe."

I manipulate the ice around me and create a few ice spears. In unison Sakura and Erza throw their weapons at Raven, she flips over the scythe and catches the sword Erza threw. She swings the sword unleashing a crescent shaped projectile toward Erza, I launch the ice spears in front of her to form a shield and block the attack. The spears combust into dense mist after the projectile made contact, I skate toward them to get closer. Many swords fly through the mist toward Raven, a feint glow dispersed the mist to reveal a large fireball flying through. Raven deflects a few swords then evaded the large fireball, Erza quickly conjured up a flame rope and lassoed it to wrap around Raven. She tries to cut the rope with the sword but on contact it melts away, the large fireball was heading toward my direction so I absorb it and keep moving. Sakura conjured up the same rope then wrapped it around Raven, both of them keeping her in place on opposite ends.

Erza: "Yuzu we have her pinned down, activate the seal!"

I pass through Sakura and prepare to strike Raven with the spectral sword. Right before impact her energy spirals out of control allowing her to break free from the flame ropes restraining her, instantly shooting a beam of light that pierced through my shoulder. I didn't allow myself to flinch from the injury, the sword made contact with her chest and I press it forward. I let go of the sword and it goes deep into her chest, she yells in complete pain unleashing shockwaves that pushed everyone away.

I freeze my feet in place to prevent from getting pushed away. I infuse magic into my right arm and manifest the brand onto my hand. I pour magic power into the sword changing it into chains, it wraps around her and burrows inside the ice making her kneel down. She struggles to escape from the spectral chains but she could not break free.

Struggling to get out of the restraints her powers rage out of control again releasing many beams of light being shot everywhere. One is heading toward me, I try to move away but my throbbing shoulder wound is so painful it stops me from moving. I fall down on my knees groaning in pain I close my eyes, the beam hit me... or so I thought. I open my eyes to see Tenma has deflected the beam away from hitting me. I smile in relief, "right on time mom."

Tenma: "You can rest now Yuzu, I'll take care of Raven."

Tenma walks toward Raven, I notice the divine chains were completely restricting her movements. The atmosphere around her becomes humid, embers become visible but this does not stop Tenma from advancing. Blue flames encircle Raven melting a little bit of the thick layers of ice beneath her, a number of fireballs form and launch toward Tenma. She simply continues to walk forward without motioning to attack or evade.

The fireballs hit Tenma, a puff of smoke hid her from sight. I see a few glowing white feathers coming out of the smoke, my sight is blurring fast. I bring my right hand up to my shoulder and completely freeze the wound. The smoke cleared to reveal Tenma with angelic wings, "she looks.. like an angel..."

{Raven's POV}

"You killed her in front of me, you killed everyone!"

"We took you in and raised you and this is the thanks we get."

"You murderer, you monster! You deserve nothing but despair for what you did!"

Raven: "No stop, that was not me, I didn't want to hurt all of those people!"

"But you did because deep down inside you are nothing but a monster."

Raven: "No I'm not a monster."

"DON'T DENY WHAT YOU ARE!"

I cover my ears in an attempt to tune the voices out.

Raven: "I didn't do anything please go away, please just go away!"

"There is no escaping the truth, you're a monster that loves the stench of blood."

Arms suddenly wrap around me and hug me, they are warm and radiant just like a mother's loving embrace.

?: "It's okay, I'm here now my little bird."

I embrace the loving arms of the familiar gentle voice, in doing so the scary ones went away.

?: "Do not be afraid anymore, the scary voices are no longer here. Open your eyes."

I open my eyes to see big sis and Erza on the frozen ground hurt and unconscious.

Raven: "What is going on where are we? Why are these two all bloody and injured?"

I feel a hand pat my head, I look behind me to see mommy with ruined and tattered clothes.

Tenma: "I'll tell you later, how do you feel sweetie?"

Raven: "I feel fine"

She let out a sigh in relief, "thank goodness."

Sakura: "Hey you two!"

I turn around to see Sakura skating toward us, further behind her I see another woman with tiger ears doing the same.

Tenma: "You don't look well, are you okay?"

Sakura: "I'll be fine, just a little exhausted from shielding everyone from that last outburst of energy that destroyed the barrier."

Tenma: "Sorry about that, I guess I did not have enough magic power to create a strong one."

Sakura: "Don't be, I was closest to shore so I managed to protect everyone from the blast."

Tenma: "Listen, I need you to keep quiet about what you saw. No one can know about it, okay?"

Sakura: "Don't worry my lips are sealed.

Raven: "What are you two talking about?"

Mommy gets flustered at my question, "just some uhh..-"

Sakura: "A written recipe I saw for rice cakes, y'know your mother she's an amazing cook."

Tenma: "Yep she's keeping that recipe a secret for me until the time is right to unveil it."

I nod in amazement, her rice cakes must be super delicious. Anything mother cooks is always so yummy, I should ask her to make rice cakes when we get home.

Sakura: "She's drooling at the thought of tasting your rice cakes."

I wipe away the drool from my mouth, both of them laugh at how silly I looked.

While they were laughing and talking I walk over to Erza and Yuzu to check up on them. Erza's injury does not look bad but Yuzu has an awful looking hole on her left shoulder, she froze it up so that she would not continue to lose blood.

Tenma: "That rise of power I sensed from you surprised me, where did all of that come from?"

Sakura: "It came from the scythe but we can converse about it later, for now we have to get these two inside Ms. Kahn's home and treat their wounds."

Mommy nods, I get up and look at the both of them with a worried expression on my face.

Sakura: "What's wrong Raven?"

Raven: "I'm worried about Erza and big sis."

Master Sakura gave me a pat on the head, "don't worry they will be fine kiddo." Both of them go and pick up Erza and Yuzu, the woman with tiger ears gave Sakura a hand with my big sister.

Sienna: "I expect an explanation about this later."

Tenma: "Hate to interrupt but Sakura your scythe is glowing."

I turn my attention to master's weapon, a weird looking symbol appeared on the blade. Something struck the ice behind us breaking it into many small platforms, sending us flying from our position. I land on my feet but almost slip and fall into the ice cold water. I see the obscured reflection of a figure with multiple tube looking things extending beyond it's back. I turn around and see a blue girl with long white hair, two horns on her head, and black tentacles with thin stripes.

That thing has a scary appearance, I have a bad feeling about this.
