Capítulo 11: Ashtray.
"Roohi, I was laidback this weekend, can you please brief me what needs to be done this week?"
"Ma'am, you have to go the Z corporation to meet their CEO." Informed Roohi.
"When? And why?"
"Ma'am, did you forget about the foreign market deal? We have to collaborate with them to get into foreign market."
"Yeah. I remember now" she said while rubbing her forehead.
"When am I supposed to get there?"
"You have to leave right away."
"Why Roohi? I remember there wasn't any such meeting scheduled. How did they agree to give us a date so soon? Don't you think something is off?"
"Actually, I do feel like something is not usual. But we have to go ahead with their appointment. Maybe, you'll find something during that time."
"You're coming with me, Roohi. It'll be a good exposure for you and you'll be my support." She smiled at her assistant.
"I'm not ready for..." She grabbed Roohi's hand and started going out.
The meeting was held in Z corp's CEO's office. The CEO was waiting for someone who is the actual link in the foreign market.
The door opened and came in, a man in deep grey suit. Both the male CEO's exchanged greetings and then came to Alina.
"I'll look forward to work with you, Miss Khan." Said the grey suit guy.
"Thank you, sir." Said she.
The meeting ended in just 5 minutes as the deal was already fixed. They were ready to take a chance with Alina's company in the foreign market.
"I'll not let you both regret your decision today. Thank you so much for believing in my company."
"Miss Khan, we're taking a risky chance on you. You better not make any mistakes. I'm known as a ruthless investor. If you make mistake, I'll get your company go bankrupt." Said the grey suited guy while extending his hand.
"You won't need any ruthlessness in my case, Mr. Khan." Alina assured.
*On the way back*
"Ma'am, did you already know that Mr. Khan was the main person here?" Asked Roohi.
"I got a surprise just as you, Roohi."
"I don't think it's just a coincidence. Oh! Yes, the other day, Mr. Khan came to meet you. Did he tell you anything about this?" Asked the curious assistant.
"He didn't say anything about it back then." She answered cautiously.
"Then what did he talk about?"
"And ma'am, where were you yesterday? I couldn't contact you." Asked Roohi.
'How should I tell you that he asked me to marry him and I stayed with him for two days. And also he's my love interest.'
"He was there for some personal purpose. And I guess I need to change my network." She clarified.
"Roohi, why is the ashtray here in my room?"
"Oh! Ma'am, it's one of the presents from Mr. Khan. I don't know why he would send an ashtray to you. It's quite unexpected."
'I've certainly seen that ashtray somewhere.' she thought.

"Sehban, I've got a gift for you." She said unenthusiastically.
He kept his cigarette away and took her gift to open it.
"Ashtray? Why?" He asked.
"So that whenever you smoke you remember me and I thought maybe then you'll be able to quit smoking."
