"Did Dr.Shen say you can drink?" Si Li asked as he poured the champagne into glasses.

"Of course." Lu Lan lied without blinking an eye and it didn't take more than a second for Si Li to find out her lie. 

Si Li narrowed his eyes at her. His intense gaze made her tell the truth. "I think a little bit won't harm." Lu Lan gave him a sheepish smile.

Si Li filled her glass only to a limit that was enough for a sip.

"Cheer to complete one year of together."

"To our togetherness." Si Li raised his glasses.

'Click.'

It had been a long time since the couple was so relaxed without any worries. Even their chats were roaming around to anything which brought smiles to their faces.

"Who gives you the idea for tonight?" Si Li asked as he cut the steak into small pieces and put it on her plate.
