Nangong Ba heard the commotion outside earlier, so he just picked up his teacup and took a casual sip. "Go invite that lady in," he said with a more melodic voice than the Guqin¹. 

"Yes," replied Xialan.

Xialan stepped outside and caught up to Liu Rushuang, who was just about to step into the room. Then, she reached her arm out to block her path and said, "My master would like to meet you."

Liu Rushuang grinned. She wanted to see who was so condescending, so she turned her heels and followed Xialan.

Qing'Er blinked with distrust. Who could be rich enough to reserve the fourth floor? I also really wanted to meet this person! She thought, smiling as she followed from behind.

Liu Rushuang followed Xialan into a room, where she immediately saw a man sitting at the table. However, he had his head slightly lowered, so she couldn't quite see their face.
