Capítulo 50: Group Gathering
After arriving and separating with Kotori Miku at the Aven Towers which is where their residence is in, Feng Ye and Chu Feng first get Wu Ya who is in her room. The trio meet up and head to the city. Very early on, Feng Ye had received a text from Haruta and the others to meet up at a restaurant. Coincidentally, this restaurant was the one that Akimichi had brought Feng Ye for during the welcome dinner.
Thus, Chu Feng and Feng Ye already knew how to get to the <All You Can Eat> sushi place. Like a fish in the water, the trio soon see the outline of the large sushi restaurant around four floors high. It is decorated with quite amount of flashing lights and seems to be very busy.
A waitress welcomes them as they enter. "Hello. Welcome. How many people?"
Chu Feng answers, "Ah, we already have a table reserved by Haruta."
"Alright. Let me find which table that would be." The waitress answers. A few moments later after scrolling and checking for the table on her tablet she directs the three to the third floor.
"Follow me."
The three head upstairs and quickly find Haruta and the others who greet them. A pile of a variety different types of sushi are covering the huge table.
"Would you three also be doing the <All You Can Eat> meal types?" The waitress inquiries.
"Yep." Feng Ye answers. Noting this down, the waitress begins to inquire if the trio wanted any drinks, etc. After doing so, she quickly heads off to wait another table.
Feng Ye, Wu Ya, and Chu Feng quickly integrate themselves with Haruta and the others and begin to order a variety of dishes using a tablet specifically for ordering. A merry atmosphere immediately is present as discussions regarding topics at sixes and sevens things are exchanged.
At this time the discussion topic quickly arrives at the events occurring earlier today. Wu Ya seemed to have already filled Haruta and the others in on what had occurred at the pool deck area. Naturally, due to this, Haruta and the others were also surprised that Feng Ye was unexpectedly an esper.
Thus, of course, this topic related to Feng Ye was brought up. Feng Ye early had expected that him being an esper would be known. A simple look at the Kami Institute forums would also show topics related to it. Unfortunately, at the time, there were simply too many onlookers like Wu Ya and the group of evacuating swimmers. Thus, thinking back to his discussion with Akeno, Akeno most likely realized this point. Therefore, she wanted to send him and the others away from the action for some time which is why his trip to Aichi prefecture was approved.
At this time, Chu Feng began to describe his pitiful experience.
"Interestingly, it was two attacks. You did well to not be pounded into a meat patty!" Patting Chu Feng's shoulder, Haruta praises.
"It also seems that you and Feng Ye had brought the attention of the higher levels as well." Akihiko analyzes.
Yotsuba nods at this time. "Right, if it's alright to ask, what happened there?"
Wu Ya quickly interrupts, "We probably shouldn't ask them."
Feng Ye signals with his hand that it's alright. "We will need to be rather cautious as it will become rather dangerous even in the Kami Institute. Things are turbulent under the surface. We have to seriously be at the right place at the right time. You know, as if we aren't what happens if someone wants to silence the witness to a crime?"
Hss. The group has a chill as this heavy warning is dropped.
"Though, as long as we don't wander randomly..it should be alright." Feng Ye adds.
"Right, also. We have gained permission to attend the concert in Aichi prefecture. We will be leaving soon so make sure to pack lightly haha." Feng Ye continues as he tries to switch the topic.
"Nice! Great work!" Haruta cheers. Along with this statement, the group's atmosphere lightens and becomes more cheerful. At this time Wu Ya takes a look at the nearby Chu Feng closely.
"Hey Chu Feng, your eyes are different. What happened?" Wu Ya inquiries. This brought the attention of the others all around the table.
Haruta after looking at Chu Feng drops the sushi he was holding as he becomes startled by the interesting Yin Yang symbol rotating in Chu Feng's pupil.
"D*mn! Chu Feng did you do some kind of pupil surgery?!" Haruta questions. Nearby Yotsuba rolls his eyes.
Chu Feng shakes his head. "I was told that I have awakened and now am an esper. Do you believe?"
Besides Feng Ye, the group is completely surprised. Haruta and Wu Ya's mouths were open so wide you could fit an egg inside. Akihiko and Yotsuba didn't show an expression as dramatic, however, their brows and eyes have given away their startled feelings.
"Though..besides seeing some random weird gloomy ghosts...I'm not sure what it can do.." Chu Feng depressingly explains.
"Ghosts…?" Haruta shows a terrified expression. Chu Feng also bitterly smiles.
"Yeah..it creeps me out. I hope there is some way to dispel them. Like what happens if one day one of these randoms follow me home? Any suggestions? Like ghost warding talisman or ghost repellent?" Chu Feng continues followed by a series of inquiries.
Besides Feng Ye, the group hearing Chu Feng's description and series of question is more unsettled.
Haruta at this point is shivering. "Follow us home?" With his eyes wide, he looks behind him and sees nothing.
Feng Ye interjects at this time. "There should be no need to worry. To be honest, these ghosts shouldn't be able to affect you. In addition, the institute should already be aware of such. According to the composition of most ghost, they thrive off Yin energy. Thus, I'm pretty sure the Kami Institute has protections and warding mechanisms in place. Do remember, we are in an esper research city."
Hearing Feng Ye's analysis, the group calms down. At this time Chu Feng inquiries, "Do you think there's any way to turn this off? Kind of unsettling to see a bunch of wandering spirits floating about with stiff faces."
Helpless to Chu Feng's inquiry, Feng Ye shakes his head. "You'll have to try to figure out the limits of your ability. I would recommend writing out a list of ideas and possible use cases and trying to see if they are applicable. Try testing parameters with a scientific approach like if you can shut it off, turn it back on, increased focus, or even affect these ghosts..."
Chu Feng sighs.
Haruta interjects at this time. "So, do you see anything around here like right now?"
Chu Feng smiles. "No, I haven't seen any around this area, though, while on the vehicle to the Aven Institute of Technology, I had seen a few."
"Ah alright." Haruta says and continues to finish up the huge sushi plate in the centre of the table.
A few hours later, the group had finished up and paid the bill and were ready to split ways to their respective residences. Chu Feng , Feng Ye, and Wu Ya had to head back to Aven Tower, while Haruta and the others had to go a different route to their residences which are closer to Kami Institute.
"We'll see you later. We can call soon and sort out the travel stuff for the Aichi prefecture trip." Akihiko waves and states.
"Sure, see you later." Feng Ye nods. Chu Feng and Wu Ya also wave farewell.
Haruta brings Akihiko and Yotsuba to start on their respective journey back.
Feng Ye also begins to walk with Chu Feng and Wu Ya back to Aven Tower. However, an unexpected meeting occurs while on the way.
"Chu Feng?" A girl with glasses who had seemed to be following Feng Ye and the others suddenly inquires.

Capítulo 51: Hey, do you remember me? My name is Yuka…
This inquiry had resulted in the turning of heads of three people. Wu Ya, Feng Ye, and Chu Feng all turn to look behind them. To Wu Ya and Feng Ye, they only see a well dressed girl with glasses. She seemed to be of Japanese descent. However, Feng Ye and Wu Ya had never seen her before.
Feng Ye thought to himself, "Stalker much?" This girl's actions seem weirdly stalker like.
Chu Feng, however, was immediately able to recognize who this was. It was the bookworm girl he had helped earlier today. What an odd coincidence.
The girl smiles at Chu Feng and inquiries shyly, "Hey, do you remember me? My name is Yuka…"
"What a coincidence! Are you alright?" Chu Feng replies and follows up with an inquiry as he too feels it is odd to suddenly meet up her again so quickly. Definitely up to no good!
While replying, Chu Feng takes a look around Yuka who is in front of him to see if there are any peculiarities. His Yin Yang eyes didn't seem to detect anything out of the norm. However, naturally, he is a beginner with this new found ability and it truly cannot amount to much in these initial stages. Thus, Chu Feng realizes that he needs to truly spend more time to uncover the mystery behind his ability.
"I'm alright..earlier this afternoon. Thanks.." Yuka replies.
"Yea, don't worry about it." Chu Feng waves nonchalantly with his hand.
At this time, Yuka takes out a mobile phone. Wu Ya, Feng Ye, and Chu Feng instantaneously realized that this was Chu Feng's.
"You dropped this earlier today. Here you go.." Yuka hands over Chu Feng's phone. Receiving it, Chu Feng felt that the phone's back was a little bit wet...
Trying his best to resist the urge to check what is up with this moist, wet feeling on the back of his phone, Chu Feng gives his thanks.
"Thanks. Really appreciate it." Chu Feng squeezes out a smiling face.
"Un..Don't worry about it… Un.. I need to go. See you later!" Yuka replies. With a quick nod, Yuka excuses herself and walks away.
As Yuka's form goes out of sight, Chu Feng flips his phone over. A wet layer had covered the back of his phone…
"Really disgusting.. Dafuq." he exclaims.
Feng Ye nearby takes a look, "It looks like your phone had been slightly tampered with as you see here." Feng Ye refers with his finger to the edge of the phone where one would usually open to replace the battery.
"Not too sure, as it was super chaotic, so also might have been damaged from the wild escape from the crazy." Chu Feng replied after a brief hesitation.
"Regardless, you should probably go disinfect your phone and wash your hands.." Wu Ya also comments.
"Yea.. for sure. Do you think this is what I think it is?" Chu Feng inquiries Wu Ya.
Wu Ya knits her brows. "Most likely it is what you think it is. However, that is super strange, you don't look that handsome.. Definitely not a lady killer appearance.."
Feng Ye smiles nearby. Chu Feng bitterly smiles.
"In any case, perhaps I have a stalker now…" Chu Feng shakes his head.
"Do I report it?" He asks Feng Ye.
"Probably not worth reporting right now, until can get more conclusive evidence." Feng Ye replies while glancing over at Wu Ya.
Wu Ya nods indicating her agreement with Feng Ye.
"Anyways, let's head over to this nearby convenience store. You can try to disinfect and maybe grab a plastic bag to wrap that phone for now." Wu Ya suggests.
"Alright, let's go."
The group head to the nearby convenience store. Running to the washroom, Chu Feng immediately uses half the soap in the original full soap dispenser and washes his hands for a good 10 minutes. Before doing so, he had taken apart the back of his phone and began washing furiously. Luckily, his phone had a phone case, thus, all he had to do was take off the phone case and wash that.
He also went to buy some rubbing alcohol and disinfectant and was busy washing everything thoroughly.
Sighing, Chu Feng really laments on his bad luck. However, at least he was able to acquire his phone.

A few hundred metres away, Yuka who the group had just met shows a frantic expression. A smile creeps up on her face as though a plot had prevailed. She takes out her phone and opens a navigation application. On the screen, a map of the entire city is shown. On this map, a single red dot can be found in a corner of a convenience store.
Seeing this red dot move back and forth in the convenience store, Yuka giggles.
"Ah.. Chu Feng…" Yuka exclaims quietly with an excited expression.

After a good 20 minutes at the convenience store in which Chu Feng had thoroughly washed his assets, the trio continue to be on their way back to Aven Towers.
