Capítulo 261: The Gunshot

Just when she was about to walk out of the door, Jin Qingling came towards them. "Jin Qinggee please let her—"

'Aah!"

"Xiao Li!" All three people screamed in unison.

"Mama!" 

No one knew where the gunshot was fired from, but for a nano-second Mrs. Jin thought that she saw blood coming out from Xiao Li's neck, and her legs went limp due to which she landed on the couch behind her with a soft bounce.

Jin Qinggee whose heart just didn't come out of her mouth, she stood frozen in her place until she saw Xiao Li rushing towards her. As if her feet got a mind of their own, they dashed forward to get her daughter before she would lose her again.

"Xiao Li!" She held Xiao Li by her arm and yanked her in her chest as she kneeled down on the floor, embracing her in a hug so tight as if her life depended on it, and it actually did.
