Capítulo 6: God of the forge
As Tang San got up from his kneeling position Gang gives him a white belt with sperical light purple aditions witch look like crystals
Gang said it is an essence tool a tool witch works by inputing essence in them the art of producing them being long gone they are considered antiques and are very valuable
The tool alows the user to store up to 1 cubic meter of stuff in each of the sperical parts witch Gang calles stones but is that really a stone?
Giving Tang San the honor of naming it Tang San named it Moon of the **** bidge (Sorry but if you have read the manhwa you know how fucked up the name is so I don't know the name plz tell me so that I know) to witch John claped as he considered it to be a adequete name
Tang San then proceded to show his second essence spirit to Gang whom upon seeing it coughed from surprise and was bewilderned
His books fell down and his health deterioated a bit before he paced everywhere trying to figure out what is going on untill it struck him
After a brief questioning Gang forbade Tang San from showing the essence spirit to anyone and forbade training in it as well then he proceded to teach Tang San how to hide his spirit mark witch John also picked up and both maneged to do it at first try
After that Gangs eyes got sharp and the mood became tense as he proposed to rise Tang Sans essence level in other words kill essence beasts in the spirit forest to witch Tang San agreed but delayed it to 2 days later while John asked if he could tag alingside them to witch they agreed
Before long Tang San and John found themselves in front of a blacksmiths shop where Tang San asks if they are taking aprentaces
The guys in the shop were about to mock him like in the manhwa but at that point John steped foward and grabed Tang Sans shoulder making Tang San focus at him
"That is not how you talk when you are in a blacksmiths shop San" With his monotonous voice cupeled with his white hair and black abyss like eyes John's apearence was without a shread of a doubd frightening even thou he wasn't a rampaging demon right now just his sheer presence can make normal people be frightened or at least draw their eyes onto him
Grabing a hammer and a piece of metal John went towards a forge and anvil where he began working on the piece of metal using the Hysterical Huricaine technique and before long he turned some scrap iron into s beutifull metal ingot solidifing his look of a certefied badass
The shop turned silent and everyone was gawking at John but before long John spoke as he wanted to get this over with quickly
"That is how you talk to blacksmiths San remember that now how about you guys employ us I just proved my skills and my friend is not far behind me so what do you say?" John comented while returning to Tang Sans left side
"You have the same salary as others. Do you have any questions?" The man John and Tang San first saw when they entered the shop imediately went to serious mode after the show of skill and while Tang San wanted ti accept John beat him to it
"Now let's talk about that" Pulling away from Tang San John went over to the guy and slung his right arm around his shoulders before going into another room from witch for the next 2 hours all cinds of sounds were heard
From yelling to stuff breaking and even mineature earthquakes all maner of cathasteopes befel the shop and everyone around the room making people feightened to know what is going on inside
After 2 hours a dazeling and sparkeling John whose face is plestered with a grin from ear to ear walks out and a defeated man whom you could see dark clouds of depression loom over
"Alright let's go San" Snaping him out of his stumpor Tang San and John leave saying good by to everyone in the shop and the bystsnders whom came in intetest to see what is happening in the room
"What did you do John?" Knowing his friends tendanci to take as much as he can and leaving none for the rest of the poor fellas Tang San asks as that man seamed like he had his soul plucked out of him while John was briming with joy
"Well I raised our salary by 27%, made him give us our first salary in advance and allowed us to use, take or any thing we want to do with their scraps and leftowers from forging" Proudly stating the deal they came to John feels like a buissness man now so as to show his status John takes the fancy ass cane he stole from the shit bastard kid and walks with it with a head held high
If not for the fact that John was wearing rag tag cloathes with his looks and stance while walking people may confuse him with a rich joung master
Shaking his head at his friends foolishness Tang San is just yet again reminded whom he is friends with
"Stop it you are making me embaressed besides you really know how to take advantage of others but that isn't a good trait becouse greed spa-" Tang San looking at his smug friend couldn't take it any more so he began preaching like a good little messiah well too bad that John was having none of that so he hit Tang San lightly on the head with the wooden part of the cane
"What are you talking about? Embaressed? I am fabulous besides if it is or isn't a good trait I don't care I will forever follow my desires and wishes before anything else! And besides all humans have greed so why hide it? In other words always take advantage of everyone and everything " With a stern face like that of a mother repramending but also teaching a child John says without blinking nor hesatating nor showing the slightes bit of shame at basically saying 'Fuck others I don't care about them'
Upon hearing his friends words Tang San falls into deep thought trying to analyze and deconstruct Johns last words as he believed that there is some deeper meaning in them
Atlas there isn't a deeper meaning so John can just sight at his friend before they walk into the sunset
2 days later
While Tang San was practicing and checking his needle shot John was in the forgery pounding at the metal and making all maner of wepons
From slendge hammers to battle axes to swords John has been basically a steam engine working the hours he works and after that he would take the scraps and start forging wepons
While he is in work hours John ussually makes everyday items such as pots, pans, ladels and so on sometimes he would make decor for let's say an iron door like metal flowers and leafs giving him a gracefull and benevolent look as he producet much more than the averege worker but only his colegues know the truth that he is a demon
When work hours are over John goes over to the scrap pile and takes the scraps making all maner of weponry or experiments with combining different metals or folding them in different ways and when he is done he sells off the wepons to the shop
Honestly the workers are glad as they all dislike making wepons since wepons in difference to pots and pans have to be perfect if not someone could die or worse a easyly dissatesfied customer aproaches them and doesn't like their blades ruining their credebility and reputation
But Johns wepons are all top noch making tbe shops reputation rise sky high with many satesfied wariors, merchants, mercenaries and all maner of folk but there is a problem
When within work hours John is easely aproached and he bonded quite well with the surrounding people even thou it has been only 2 days everybody likes him and Tang San but after working hours he becomes a God Of The Forge as he mircelessly pounds at the metal and anyone triying to aproach him may be unlucky to accidentaly be hit with a hammer or burned or have their ear drums pierced or all maner of bad stuff
Seeing that it was time to go Tang San goes to the market where he buys radishes storing them in his belt before going to the blacksmiths shop
Upon arrival he sees John aplying a layer of clay to a half finished katana before heating it up again and proceding to quench it in oil making the hamon (edge patern) and after the quench the blade didn't bend nor crack leaving a satesfied John
"John we have to go" Before yelling Tang San picked up a piece of scrap metal and throws it at John whom caches it, notices him and follows Tang San but not before following he places the blade in a low fire so that it can soften and instructed the other guys in the shop to take it out after 2 hours
Upon arrival, Tang San shouted out his arrival with his wrongdoings as he confuses carrots and radishes but he is quickly shut up by the chubby kid whom if you look closely has fabulous eyebrows
"Don't be so loud!" Putting his finger on his lips the chubby kid practically screams it out making the whole point of being quiet nonexistent
"What happened?" Tang San asked and you could hear the sadness in his voice as he spoke a testimony to his close relationship with Xiao Wu while he stared at the depressed sleeping Xiao Wu
"Someone broke Xiao Wu Jie's hairbrush, she cried for ages before falling asleep" The chubby kid answered with anger in his voice and at this point, Tang San was angry as well and soon they both concluded that it was those idiots they messed with last time
The chubby kid wanted to rant on and on but he noticed something that almost made him piss himself
Behind Tang San was a person and that person is none other than John whom the chubby kid upon seeing bowed with sweat dripping from his forehead
"Welcome home Big Brother" He had to say it as even thou John didn't ask for it after the beatdown of the little bastard many people admired and respected him but many more feared him for his strength and brutality so he became the Big Brother whom you definitely don't want to piss off in everybody's hearts
John just dismissed it making the chubby sight in relief before John lied down on the floor and rolled under Tang Sans and Xiao Wu's bed soon departing for the land of the dreams
The next morning John and Tang San got up, took care of their hygiene and went on to dress up before long they are gone a few minutes later Xiao Wu woke up and jumped off the bed
She looked at the radishes shaped like an arrow pointing towards a letter in which Tang San explains his failure in repairing her brush so he bought her a new one and that she can keep the carrots witch much to Xiao Wu's dismay are radishes but before she can complain her nose twitches a bit and picks up the familiar scent of carrots
Looking around herself she found a big wooden box from which the carroty scent was emanating from and on top of the box is a letter
"Hi Xiao Wu it is me John and I know what Tang San tried to pull off but I also know that he didn't succeed and I also know that he confused radishes with carrots.Idiot.Since he tried to cheer you up with the brush and carrots but failed at the carrots part as his friend I am gonna support him so take these carrots and cheer up
- Sincerely John"
Xiao Wu could only smile and mutter out a few words before she started to messily and gluttonously eat all the carrots in the crate
"Thank you Xiao San and Big Bro John and now for the carrots" Wiping off the saliva from her mouth she digs in meanwhile John, Gang and Tang San are surrounded by garlic monsters
Let's rewind time for a bit too after Gang, John and Tang San arrived into the forest a garlic monster came and let out a shriek so before long they were surrounded by garlic monsters
While Tang San was panicking a bit Gang just put on a mask and gave one to John and Tang Dan before summoning his essence spirit Lou San Pao
Lou San Pao is an individual mutation beast tool in the form of a small yellow dog with a bell attached to his neck and a heart shaped asshole literately and as Gang explain that the mutations are all weakening ones so he won't get past level 30 while looking at Lou San Pao with a few teary eyes filled with sadness but he quickly gets over it
Then he proceeds to explain how you have to be level 10 or above to summon your essence spirit and how you need halos from dead monsters to proceed with your cultivation and how you get a skill called essence skill from every halo you get witch you activate by inputting essence into the halo
Before long the garlic monsters attack but Gang used his first essence skill thunder blow with Lou San Pao killing all the essence monsters while Tang San confuses the skill with just a casual fart from Lou San Pao and John is calmly observing everythin preparing for the next step of his plan
