[WAKE UP! WAKE UP! IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP IM GOING TO K-KISS YOU…]
"....Ummm."
It's an alarm clock which wakes up the owner with a tsundere voice, but it doesn't have a function to wake up its owner from his bed. That owner fell off the bed like he had a nightmare.
That's me.
...It's the worst way to wake up
I had an awful dream that felt so real.
But since I'm alive I guess it really was just a dream.
"Wake up Ise!"
Mums voice came from the stairs like every morning.
"I know I will!"
After giving a replying, I pick myself off the floor.
Haaa...
My day is off to a bad start again. I feel so down...
I do my morning ritual and put on my uniform and exit my room.
"Morning Ise, you look like you just had a nightmare.
I turn to see my twin brother Ikki. He was looking at me with a worried face. But I only smile.
"Morning Ikki, Nah I'm fine.
I didn't want to worry him. He's a good brother to me. He's even more so as a big brother.
Unlike me, Ikki is always stoic! He's very calm in front of everyone! He's also talented in Kendo and not to mention his good grades. Man ,sometimes I'm jealous of him but when I talked to him about it his words Surprised me.
"Ise I always wanted to be like you. You're so free... I wish I could be like you... Unfortunately, I can't... When I try to relax somewhere deep in my heart I begin to panic... I feel like I always have to be stoic."
I still remember his words. I frowned while thinking about it. While I'm still jealous of him... When he speaks like that it's like his mind is... Binded. I worry about his mental health sometimes. I talked to mom and dad about him. But unfortunately, they could do nothing about it.
Whenever we try to make him relax he's always stoic. It's as if something will happen if he relaxes for a bit. We already have tried to ask him what wrong but he always has told us when he tries to relax his heart starts thumping fast and hard and also he starts to feel uneasy.
He's only able to relax IF he's alone... When nobody is near him... We have tried to leave him alone and spy on him but he says that he could always feel as if someone is watching him.
It's like he's a Physic!
"Ise." Ikki called me and broke me out of my thoughts.
"Ise? What's wrong? Are you daydreaming of Yuuma-san?"
I flinched when he spoke Yuuma's name. I laughed and sheepishly waved my hand.
"Ah, nothing! Nothing!"
"You sure?"
I can sense some worry in his tone. I quickly reassure him.
"Yup! I'm alright just had a nightmare."
"Alright then."
"Ikki! Ise! Come down and eat breakfast!"
"Oh, shit" I muttered.
[Ikki's Pov]
"Alright, then we're off!" Ise and I said at the same time.
On the walk to school, I noticed that Ise seemed to be a bit tired. He closed his eyes when we were walking as if he didn't want to see the sunlight... What's happening? Was he not completely healed?
"Ise... Are you okay?" I asked him and he turned to me.
"How many times do I have to say that I'm fine Ikki? You don't need to worry about me." Ise answers.
"I know but how you're looking right now is saying otherwise... If you're sick then I will tell sensei. Sensei is kinda soft on me because of my good grades. If you want to go home and rest then go."
When I'm with him I always feel like I'm being babysat... Though I don't mind it, I feel like I'm still a kid if I am with Ikki.
"Not needed my dear Nii-san! I'm fine really. You worry about me too much." He said nonchalantly. I reluctantly nodded and continued our trek to school.
Ise and I parted ways to go to our separate classes. I can't stop worrying about him. He says I'm worrying too much but isn't that the job of a big brother? Anyways I hope he's okay...
"Yo! Ikki!"
I turn to see a familiar face and brown haired girl wearing glasses. Akia Kiryuu.
"Ah? Akia-san, Good morning." I nodded to her.
Akia is one of the girls that doesn't fawn all over me... So I somewhat appreciate her presence... Somewhat.
"Oh geez! Lighten up will ya?! You always sound like a robot you know!" Akia punches my shoulders while I laughed.
"That girl!"
"H-How dare she!"
"Get away from her Ikki-sama!"
Yup and the girls are angry at her again as usual, as usual. Akia turned to the girls before a playfully smirked appeared on her face. She then clung on to my arm.
"Oh my! Ikki-kun I feel sick could you please take me to the infirmary?" Akia said in a sultry tone and then I could feel the girls somehow released some killing intent. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Akia-san I would really I appreciate if you would not make a scene in the morning," I sighed and she let go with a pout.
"Oh come on Ikki. let me play some more!" Akia said while pouting.
"I will let you play as long you don't pull me into your game." I said in disapproving tone making her chuckled
"Hn!" Aika grunted and turn to the other girls with a smirk that said: "I win!" Which makes their glare even more so intense.
Now I know how it feels to be like
Itachi or Sasuke at the Academy.
(Line Break)
"Ise." I called to him as he came out if the classroom with Motohama and Matsuda.
"Ah, Ikki! Sorry, but I'll be going home late. I have something to do with these two." in which he pointed at both Motohama and Matsuda.
"Ise you've surely haven't forgotten our promise before your date did you?" I asked with a stern voice making Ise flinch.
"W-Wait! Date?! Ise?! Went on a date?!" Matsuda interjected into our conversation. I blinked and turned to my little brother
"You didn't introduce Yuuma-san to them?" I asked clearly confused.
"This Yuuma character again?" Motohama asked. I blinked in surprise but then suddenly I remember that Yuuma erases her existence.
"I told you it's not a dream! It's real!" Ise growled at Motohama.
"Ise if you don't remember then let me remind you. You said that we would practice Kendo together."
"What?! Ise?! You can do Kendo?! Why you didn't you tell us?!" Matsuda demanded while shaking Ise.
"H-Hey! I already stopped training in Kendo since I entered high school! So I didn't think it was important!" Ise defended himself before turning to me."Alright, alright let's go to the club." he sighed and I smiled a bit.
"Matsuda, Motohama. We will watch them next time!" Ise said before he turns to me and nodded.
"See you later Matsuda-san, Motohama-san" I bowed little to them and leave with Ise.
(Line Break)
We then arrive at the kendo club building. When I open the door several girls looked at me with heart-shaped eyes but that was soon replaced with disgust when they saw Ise.
"Ikki-kun. Why is Issei-san here?!" Katase asked me while Ise only chuckle sheepishly behind me.
"Ise and I are going to spar today. Surely that won't be a problem Will it?" I coolly asked making the whole club blink.
"Him? Sparing with you?! Are you sure?!" One of the girls asked me.
"Is it really that weird seeing my brother wield a sword?" I asked in a stern tone. I don't like people stare at Ise like that. To be honest the public only knows of perverted Ise. Not the real Ise.
"Yes!" The whole club answered immediately after I said that and I sighed.
"Fine! Ise lets spar!" I demanded and pulled an extra bokken out of my bag and threw it to him. I brought an extra bokken just for this occasion.
"Alright, alright but... Do they have to watch?" Ise asked in embarrassment. I then sighed and nodded.
"You two aren't going to use a Shinai?" Murayama asked me but I shook my head.
"All questions will be answered later. Now, who's going to be the referee?!" I asked and Katase stepped forwards.
"Ready?!" Katase raised her hand and looked at the both of us, we both nodded before looking each other in the eye.
"GO!"
Ise and I quickly charged at each other after the ref officially started the sparring match. Ise raised his sword aiming for my face but I block it. ugh! Looks like he's gotten stronger since the last time we sparred. Is it because of him being reincarnated into a devil?! I then push his sword away and tried to slash his stomach but Ise took a step back and dodged it.
I take a step forward towards him in an attempt to cut his face but he managed to pull back his head and dogged my attack yet again. Looks like his speed increased too. Definitely because of being reincarnated.
He then uses a one hand slash to strike my stomach but before the wooded swords reached me I put one of my hands on his shoulder and jump over him while dodging the attack in the process. I tried to attack Ise's backside but he quickly turns around and blocks my strike. His reflexes have also definitely increased.
I landed on the ground softly but quickly take a step back to avoid an attack. This Time he goes on the offensive.
I block his attack and push him away again. He then continues by trying to stab me which I dodged his strike to my left. Seeing this he quickly spun his bokken around and attempted to slash me. I quickly brought up my bokken to block his attack but he didn't give me the chance to and tried to kick me.
Unfortunately, for Ise, I was able to block his kick with my forearm. But Damn! That hurts! His strength has also increased too. I ignore the pain and grab his leg and then pulled it making him lose his balance and nearly fall. And which he did when I pushed his leg back.
I quickly raised the bokken in front of his face
"1 for me." I smirked and he sighed.
"Man I'm losing my touch ." he chuckled while I rolled my eyes with a bit of a smile.
"Well, what do you expect? You neglected you're training for 4 years but you nearly got me with that kick though." I said in a comforting tone and extended my arm to help Ise up which he accepted.
"W-Wow..."
We then turn to see all of the girl's kendo clubs members awestruck.
"T-T-To think... The beast has that much skill with the sword..." Katase murmured in shock
Ise blushing and rubbing his back neck sheepishly.
"I don't believe it"
"How is he able to do that?"
"He's good.."
A murmur began to spread around the club no doubt after this their opinion about Ise would probably change.
"Ise is it just me... Or you seem to be stronger than 4 years ago? I mean when I block your attack it felt stronger than before! I felt like I blocked some steel blade rather than a bokken. Are you training in secret?" I asked with fake clueless tone and he blinked
"I-I-I don't know. I just feel stronger somehow." He said unsure and I narrowed my eyes
"Hey Ikki-kun!"
I turn to see Murayama calling me.
"Why don't you train with us today? You can get Issei-san to train too." She said surprising everyone even me
"Really?" Ise asked in disbelief.
"W-Well.. As long as you behave then were fine!" Katase clear her throat while saying that.
"Aww, Katase-chan it's okay! As long as Ikki-kun is here I'm sure his brother won't do anything strange." Murayama assured and Katase looked at me. And I nodded in response.
"Alright! Let's start our training today!Ikki will the one to lead today!" Katase declared
(Line Break)
[Later.]
"Bye Ikki-kun!" Murayama said and exited from the club. Leaving Only me and Ise left.
"Man. That was tiresome... It's been a while since I trained again" Ise laughed and I chuckled
"Not to mention being surrounded by pretty girls! Did you see their oppai when they swing their shinai?! They were bouncing!" Ise said with a perverted face and I facepalmed. Typical Ise.
"Ise please don't say things like that. We were just able to raise their respect for you. Don't go and destroy it" I sighed before I took a look at the window "Soon it will be dark.." I murmured and he looks outside too.
"Yeah..."
We then start to pack our stuff and prepared to go home.
"Hey Ikki." My younger brother called out to me.
" I want to talk... it's about Yuuma-chan..." he said while I blinked.
"If you're asking for advice about girls I can't help you much there," I said and he facefaulted.
"It's not that! What I want to talk about is serious." he yelled while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well then, what do you want to talk about?" I asked him. I probably already know what's he going to want to talk about.
He then starts to explain about his dream. Where he was killed by Yuuma. Then about crimson haired girl and her connection with Rias. He was also confused why Motohama and Matsuda didn't know anything about Yuuma.
"Hmm.. That's confusing... When you saying like that its as if Yuuma-san doesn't exist. While the truth is she does exist. Has you try to calling her number?" I asked
"I've Already Tried! But her number was gone from my phone!" He said in frustrated tone "I also have one more thing. I don't know how to explain it, but my body feels pumped and I have a feeling something mysterious is rising from the depth of my body"
I stroke my chin lightly and hummed.
"While in the morning today I felt like an Owl. I was sleepy and tired in the morning but when it starts to get dark I feel like now I have 10-times the energy than when in the morning!" He exclaimed "You're good at Medical things right? After all your trying to become a doctor. Do you know the reason why?"
"Well... To be honest, if it was a disorder then it more close to Insomnia. You know? Where you can't sleep at night." I said and he nodded "But you feel 10 times stronger than in the morning? That's ridiculous. I think we have to bring you to a real doctor. Anyway, let's head home now."
He nodded and stood up. We then walked out from the club.
(Line Break)
In the middle of our trek back home I felt somebody was watching Ise and me. I turn to Ise and he didn't seem to notice. We kept on walking for a while until I felt the presence was getting closer.
"Ise..." I called to him and he turned.
"Y-Yes?" he responds with. I pull out two bokkens and hand him one.
"Is this?" he asked me and I nodded.
"Yes... Killing intent... And a pretty strong one at that too." I said while sweat drops trickled down my forehead.
"Its been a long time since i felt like this.. The last time i felt it was 4 years ago when Sora-sensei taught us about Killing Intent and he released it right at us." He gulped and i nodded. Sora-sensei was our Kendo teacher before. I asked Sora to train us in Killing Intent and how to release it and detect it. He blasted us with a huge amount. Apparently, Sora-sensei was a veteran samurai. He's about a hundred years old! I don't know what he was before but I'm glad I took one large blast of killing intent from him. Because if not, I wouldn't be able to stay calm right now.
We then turn to see a man wearing a business suit with a hat glaring at us.
"It is rare.. To see one of you walking along with a human." He said looking at Ise and I narrowed my eyes.
"I'm sorry sir but who are you? Clearly, you're are Martial Art artist seeing that you're able to spread Killing Intent." I said calmly and the man turns to me
"Hoo? You noticed it? Unfornately young man, I'm not some Martial artist. But what are you doing with that thing?" He asked me
"What do you mean with that thing? Watch your mouth sir the "thing" you're speaking about is my younger brother." I growled at him and he laughed.
"Your brother eh? I see. So you're trying to hide a stray devil huh? To think a human would become friends with a stray devil." He laughed.
"Stray devil?! What do you mean?!" Ise asked.
"It's not my job to tell you what you are. But it is my job as an angle even a fallen one to exterminate you." The man said as black feathered wings came out of his back. I could see that he was creating a light spear.
"ISE DODGE!" I yelled as I jumped to my left dodging the spear. Unfortunately, Ise was still in a little shock and jumped away too late as the spear of light grazed his skin cutting his clothes.
"Oh my, you were able to dodge that what a surprise." The fallen said to us. I turned to see Ise holding his arm in pain where the spear grazed him.
"Ise..." I called to him softly in an attempt to call him down and it works somewhat.
"Remember when we were at that zoo? When some tiger broke away from its cage? I asked and he blinked.
"Ah yes I remember." he grinned still in a little pain.
"This time you play my role while i play your role!" I said and dashed towards the Fallen Angel
"Hahaha! You want to fight?! A human against me?! Ridiclous!" He laughed and prepared another light spear. My instinct reacts towards the danger. I'm able to see it! His attack! I then step aside and dodge the spear while ducking and give him a strike to the stomach using my bokken that I channeled Senjutsu in making him gasp.
"W-What?! Why you!" He growled and summoned another spear to stab me but my eyes were able to see it. I rolled along the ground and enchanted my leg with Senjutsu quickly and jumped then headbutted him in the stomach making him gasp again.
"Why you?! I will kill-"
SMACK!
The fallen angel got hit in the back of the neck by Issei HARD! The bokken broke in two when the strike hit. Then his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell unconscious on the Ground.
The roles at the zoo were that Ise was the bait and I was the attacker.
"*pant* *pant* did i brake his neck?" Issei asked me who was laying on the ground tiredly.
"I don't think so... But you must have hit him pretty hard seeing that he's unconscious now... Not to mention that my extra Bokken is broken." I commented and he chuckles sheepishly
"Sorry, I'll buy you a new one." Ise said.
"You better have." I rolled my eyes before turning to the fallen angel.
I know it seems unreal but...
To See one right in front of you is so... weird.
"What is he?! Some kind of freak?!" Ise asked while poking the unconscious fallen angel.
"Well, he said he was an angel and a fallen one at that..." I pointed out and Ise looked at me.
"You don't believe him, do you..." Ise asked me in a disbelief tone of voice. I was about to reply before someone beat it to me.
"And to think you two actually beat a fallen angel."
We turn and see Rias Gremory along with Sona Sitri approaching us.
"Rias-senpai, Sona-senpai?" I said in fake surprise.
"Hello, Hyoudou Ikki, Hyoudou Issei." Rias greeted us while Sona greeted us with a head nod.
"I take it that you two are able to explain this?" I pointed at the fallen angel and they nodded.
"Meet us tomorrow after school in Occult Research Club." Sona said.
"Wait! What do you mean?! I don't understand what you talking about! Who is this guy?! And what does he mean by me being a stray devil?!" Ise demanded. I slowly stand and put a hand on Ise's shoulder.
"Ise. I think we should rest and let them explain tomorrow... I have a feeling it's going to be something big... We already had a hard day today." I said with a stern voice. He turns and sees me before slowly nodding and we then turn to the duo Kings again.
"Tomorrow then." I said and they nodded
"What about this guy?" Issei pointed.
"We will deal with him. You two can go home now." Sona said. We then turn and start to walk but suddenly i feel pain on one of my legs and i would have fallen if not for Ise suddenly catching me. I took a look below and saw a large wound on my ankle. It must have been hit during the last attack.
"Ikki! Your leg!" Ise said in a worried tone.
"I'm fine.. Ugh" I grunted.
"No you're not! That's a deep one! We got to get you to the hospital! Now!" He commanded.
"Let me see it." Sona interjected. Ise then placed me on ground and Sona started to look at my wound.
"Its not too bad..." Not too bad?! Almost all of my flesh got carved out! And it wasn't too bad?!
Sona then place both her hands on my leg and suddenly the wound slowly started to close. My eyes widened in shock. So does Ise. I know there are some healing spell if i recall but seeing it In front of me is...
Incredible...
"I-Incredible" Ise murmured while i only nodded not believing my voice could speak after seeing this.
"This is as much as i can do for now. You're still going to feel the pain but at least the wound closed. You can bring him home now." Sona said to us. Ise nodded and started to carry me again.
"T-Thanks Sona-Kaichou." Ise said and i nodded still shocked beyond
belief
(Line Break)
"Issei..." I called him. We are currently on our way still walking home.
"Yes." He said.
"Whatever happens to you I will always be your big brother." I grinned and he blinked before smirking.
"Heh! Damn right you are and the same for you I will always be your little brother." he said but then continued.
"But look who got hurt, at least when I was bait for the tiger I didn't get a scratch."
"Well our opponent was a fallen angel, not a tiger, there's a big difference!" I retorted and he laughed.
"Thanks, Ikki... If it wasn't for you...
Then that first spear that man threw would have hit me." He said softly and I blinked.
"I'm your big brother I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be protecting my little brother and besides that, you froze up from some low-level killing intent. That wouldn't have had happened if you didn't neglect your training because of you getting interested in oppai suddenly." I scolded while having a moment with Ise. After I said that Ise was frowning.
"Don't speak like that! Oppai is a gift from the heavens! There are no other beautiful things other than oppai!" He retorted
"And because of that you almost got killed today!"
"If i die because of oppai then so be it! I won't regret it!"

"..."
"I don't know what to say any more to change you. Let's stop this stupid conversation."
"Agreed..."

"Heh! Your welcome"

[Next Day]
I slowly open my eyes and look at the window and the outside...
Last night when we got home we lied to our parents that I got into a fight with some sort of thugs and one of them managed to hurt me somewhat.
I still winced because of the pain in my leg. I'm not going to be able to walk at this rate.
"Ikki! Are you okay?! Can I enter?!" Ise's voice comes in from the other side of the door.
"You can enter Ise!" I yelled and he did.
"How's your leg?" Ise asked and took a look at my leg.
"I'm fine... Okay, but I won't be able to walk to school though because of the pain." I said when I noticed the look on his face.
"I see." he sighed. " I will tell Rias Onee-sama and Sona-Kaichou that you won't be able to come because of the pain in your leg."
I frowned a bit hearing this. I wanted to go too.
"No ikki you won't come to school today if you refuse I will tell mom and dad."
I sighed and slowly nodded.
"Good. I will tell you everything later." He smiled
"Yeah. And tell them I said "Hi"." Ise nodded and closed the door to my room and left.
I sighed again. And laid down on my bed.
So much to do...
I have knowledge about future events in this world... If I recall this is where Ise is going to save the exiled nun... Asia Argento... And after that fight Rias's fiance... Raiser.
And if I recall correctly this is where Ise is going to sacrifice his hand for Balance Breaker! I can't let that happen! Maybe I could do something! But!
What can I do?
Once again I sighed in defeat.
I can't even kill one fallen angel... Okay, maybe I can. But I'm going to need to know more spells and more training if I'm going to want to do that.
My Senjutsu training is normal. I'm able to manipulate ki to enhance my speed and strength... I'm maybe fast enough to win a race against a tiger and strong enough to destroy iron with a single slash from my sword... It's very useful!
But learning how to use it is not as easy as I thought it would be. I have to meditate for 3 whole hours every day to control my Ki... It's harder then I thought! Not to mention the headaches I receive when using it...
It's like some strange voice telling me to claim more power and to kill something.
I slowly open my eyes. Both my red and black eye appear. I then get up from my bed and took a look of my self in the mirror... Maybe I have to prepare for something...
Yeah, some training is in order... Definitely, In Order...
Suddenly there was a blue light that appeared in my room. On instinct, I quickly grab my sword and got ready for battle.
From the light, a figure slowly walked out and it was... Sona?
"Morning Ikki." Sona said in a stern voice and I dropped my sword.
"Kaichou? W-Wha?! How did you do that?" I asked faking my surprised expression. I can take a guess on how she did that... Magic.
"Issei just told me that your leg is still in pain so I came here to finish healing you." Said as she ignored my question while approaching me.
"I see... Then thank you..." I said while smirking.
'Kill...'
My eyes widen for a moment... Again?! I quickly calm down my Ki and deactivate my nature energy...
Sona seems to notice something happened to me.
"What's wrong?" Sona asked me
"Nothing... I just heard some strange voice.. Must have been my imagination." I shrugged and she narrowed her eyes.
"Strange voice?"
"How long? How long have you heard this voice?" Sona asked me.
"It was around 4 years ago when I was practicing Ki." I shrugged while Sona's eyes widened for a second before her expression turned serious.
"Are you... Training in Senjutsu?" Sona asked me surprising me a little.
"How'd you know?" I asked back while Sona shifted her glasses.
"you're playing a very dangerous game here Ikki. Senjutsu is dangerous... Very dangerous." Sona said in a stern voice while I narrowed my eyes.
"Explain..." I demanded.
"Senjutsu is a skill that manipulates nature energy or ki you could say. It has many uses such as strengthening your body or detecting the energy of your opponents. However, Senjutsu's biggest weakness is that while it can detect and handle Spirit energy, it also takes in the malice and the ill will that floats around the world. That means absorbing too much malice will corrupt the practitioner." Sona explained while I'm clearly surprised.
"I didn't know practicing Senjutsu would do that." I murmured, the only reason I took up Senjutsu was because of Naruto. The only bad thing happens there is that you become a stone statue! I didn't think it was going to bite me back like this!
"You should be careful. There are devils who went crazy because of that." Sona warned and my complexion when pale after hearing this. Is that the voice I keep on hearing?
"How good are you in Senjutsu? Sona asked me.
"Good enough... I need 3 minutes of meditation to use my Senjutsu abilities to the max. Though I still don't know what else can Senjutsu do other than making me faster and stronger and channeling it into a weapon." I answered.
"You didn't know anything about it?! Who's your trainer?! That's very dangerous! You're lucky you didn't go psycho already!" Sona practically yelled making me flinch.
"I train alone." I answered.
'Alone?! Without anyone teaching him?! He definitely has potential! I heard from Rias that Issei took 8 Pawns. How much for Ikki then?! Does his family have a great ancestor?!' Sona thought with shock before she shifted her glasses and nodded.
"I will ask for more information later, for now, let me finish healing you." Sona said as she approached me and kneeled down putting her hands on my ankle. I secretly start to observe and feel the way Sona is using the flow of magic to heal my ankle maybe I can learn something from it.
(Later)
"It feels good as new." I said and started to roll my ankle around.
"Of course though it was taking some time." Sona said in a bit of amusement.
"Perhaps I could use Senjutsu to heal." I murmured.
"You can. But remember Ikki using Senjutsu is dangerous... If you can't control it then the people around you are going to pay." Sona said sternly and I nodded.
"By the way, I didn't sense your parents... Where are they?" Sona asked.
"There already at work. So there is only me in the house. I will write them a note." I said as I take a pen and paper out of my drawer."Mn, do you mind getting out of my room for a while? I have to change."
Sona nodded and left the room. I sighed and then went to the bathroom.
(Later)
"Are You done?" Sona asked behind the door.
"You can come in now!" I yelled while buttoning on the last button on my shirt. Sona then enters my room and takes look at me.
"We're leaving now." Sona said. I nodded while picking up my sword.
"A sword?" she asked.
"Just in case..." I said I said with a stern look in my eyes.
"Do you think that we're going to become a danger to you?"

"May I?" I asked Sona while my hand was touching the door and Sona nodded. I take a deep breath.
At last, the day where I join the supernatural world has come...
I have been training my whole life just for this day...
