Capítulo 1: Whole Mist Story

Outside in the chilly morning mist, I hear... Footsteps down the gravel road, drawing nearer and nearer by every second. I can't see who it is. I'm scared. It could be a criminal, it could be an assassin, it could be anything... Then I see... Him. A man wearing a mask that covers the bottom half of his face, a dark brown trench coat that ended around his ankles. He was wearing a... Cowboy hat? Oh well, he pulled out three throwing knives. I was ready, I had learned many martial art forms with my dad as a child and teenager. I have heightend my senses throughout my years. He threw them... And I caught them all. It was unexpected, for him, that is. He was told, by the look in his eyes, that I was inexperienced. I win. He underestimated me. 1# rule of fighting, NEVER underestimate your enemy. He underestimated me, and I overtook him. I pulled down his mask, and there lie, one of my most trusted friends, Jade. She was my partner in crime like deal. We both like burritos. And... I would still always keep my secret, that I was an assassin in training. I wanted to be one since I was little. But it was always taken as a joke, so, she thought that I was weak. Oh well... Another rule in assassination... Show no mercy. And I didn't, but of course I still kept her alive, or... How else is she gonna tell her "Master" that she failed?. Hopefully this type of deal never happens again. Too bad she was injected with a poison. It will kill her in two weeks. There are no side effects, which means that she will literally just drop dead. Howsoever, she didn't know that I injected it. Hhmmmph... Farewell... Jade...
