Capítulo 9: The beginning
Silent from both end. Li Jun didn't even bother to ask how his friend knew about his feeling towards Yueling.
"Is that all you want to say? I need to go now." His voice was indifferent.
Yueming quickly replied, "Did you asked her?"
Silent. " Zhou Li Jun, did you asked her?"
"You didn't! Hahahaha.." Yueming was laughing as if he was mocking Li Jun.
"Zhu Yueming, I am going for a mission! Are you ridiculing me now?" Li Jun sounds irritated.
"Buddy, how did you know then?" Li Jun sighed.
"I heard her. She was talking to the phone. She doesn't want to have a busy partner. Not someone like her brother, she said." Li Jun closed his eyes remembering that particular day, he was about to meet her again to ask her to entertain a children who will undergo a surgery.

She had joined the volunteer team at the hospital after he suggested it to her as a gateway for her to reduce her devastation over her mother and ex-boyfriend. Actually, he wanted to spend time with her but didn't know how to convey that message. She is after all the first one who had caught his attention.
But that day, he heard Yueling spoke on the phone. She was standing at the paediatric wards and he was behind her. "..Haha, who would like to date a doctor? Look at my brother. He is so busy to the point that I have to make an appointment with him for a lunch. I won't date someone like him. Ahh, Xia xia. Don't be bias. You like him, of course it is okay."

"Yueling is someone straightforward." Yueming stated the obvious, of course.
"I know. But I.." 'am scared of her answer'. Li Jun kept the other half in his heart.

"Have you eaten? I can't. I can't do anything because my thoughts are on you." Her face turned green. 'Damn, those words make her cringe.' She blocked the number right away.

The other side of the line. Ru Sheng smirked when the girl blocked his number. 'Ah, is not she naive? What can blocking a number do to him? Haha.'
"Gu, tell Heng to follow this girl. I want to know everything about her." His subordinate nodded. That picture was a girl in a library, she didn't seems to be aware of her surrounding.
