As Liz saw the real emotions in Melissa's eyes, she couldn't help but completely loosen the hold on her neck before stepping back with staggered steps.

After she was done, Melissa gasped her breath, almost as if it had been physically tiring for her to speak so much, and lay out the truth.

Touching her neck and feeling the bruised skin, Melissa hurriedly moved to the mirror and checked, before seeing the clear, green and purple bruises before exclaiming, "Oh no! Mr. Benson will know! What do we do?!"

Liz couldn't care less right now, as she was still reeling from what she had just heard.

That was what she would be? A mistress- living an empty and worthless life?

Inwardly screaming this word, Liz straightened her back.
