Capítulo 45: Your Child, Our Child
Lilica still felt like she couldn't believe him. She stared back at his twinkling blue eyes and saw how sincere he was. Should I really believe him? I won't get hurt again, right?
Lilica leaned in and kiss Kazuya on the lips. She decided to gamble on her happiness as she said, "I also love you."
Lilica smiled lovingly and wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed him again, this time, passionately, as if to convey her feelings.
Kazuya kissed her back and the both of them had started feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen.
"Will you tell me now what's bothering you? I don't like seeing you so distressed." Kazuya spoke up gently after their passionate kiss.
"..." Lilica was still hesitating whether to tell him about the baby or not. She didn't want to risk breaking their relationship again. However, the truth was bound to be out sooner or later so it was better if he heard it directly from her.
"I... I'm pregnant..." Lilica whispered softly, as if she was afraid that he would hear her. She avoided his eyes but her body was honest as body was still affectionately clinging to him.
"! Really?! This is great news!" Kazuya was surprised and exclaimed excitedly. The thought of the woman he love and their product of love was growing inside her made him so happy he thought he was dreaming.
He looked at her and noticed that she didn't look really happy. Suddenly, a terrifying thought came to him.
"...Is the child not mine?" Kazuya asked carefully, his tone filled with anger and disappointment.
"! No! The child's is yours, ours." Lilica quickly explained before Kazuya could misunderstand her.
"Then why do you look like that? Are you not happy with our child? ...Hah. Did you want the child's father to be Ven?" Kazuya shouted angrily at the thought of their closeness. He thought that Lilica was lying to him about loving him and that the one she really wanted was Ven. His tone was filled with coldness that Lilica felt a chill.
"Of course not! Why did you even mention him?" Lilica was confused as to how Ven would suddenly appear in their conversation.
"..." Kazuya looked at her, his eyes filled with doubt. He continued, "Then why?"
"...That's... You're a prince right? You royalty value pure bloods highly right? If I were to have this child, then what will happen to it?" Lilica said, her voice slightly trembling from the thought of losing her child. She had already felt a bond with it by now. She didn't want to abort her child.
